I'm in the same boat as many. Few races in 8 left but I just can't bring myself to grind hundreds of thousands for specific cars. Sucks.
Yes, although I'm not sure if the upgrade to iOS 7 affects it. I have an iPad 3 and an iPad 4 on iOS 6 still so I can't say whether it does or doesn't.
Can you say anything about Mfi controllers being supported/updated in your games? There are already some small devs who updated it in their game. S I gues it's not that hard...
I don't have any information about that at the moment. It's up to the Development teams if they want to implement it for the games they are working on, or have worked on in the past. We here at Gameloft are definitely keeping an eye on the emerging controller scene with the arrival of iOS 7. I'll be sure to post about any information that I get in the future though.
I second this!! the abscence of a "race again" option had been subconciously eating at me a little every race lol >.< btw I just stopped playing after unlocking season 5 in 12hrs of play without any IAP and getting the 458, because the game has been making my sleep and dreams horrible will get back to it in probably a week... but continuous play really leads to the races playing over and over in my sleep, and it happened to my sis too. I wonder if anyone has that problem too? and how come the price of the veneno raised from 32k to 50k?! o.o I was aiming for that, then I saw it's 50k now huh??
Cloud saves How does the cloud save feature work? Is there a way I can instantly force save to the cloud? I like switching in between my i5 and iPad to play this. I played quite a bit on my iphone 5 last night and when I turn on the iPad it shows that my last save to the cloud that "I" saved isnt the accurate one from my iphone. How do I make my iphone 5 save to the cloud on command? And if I can't does anybody know how often it auto saves to the cloud? Thanks!
Just checked out your links... Are you telling me that you actually get penalized for not racing players/cheaters you obviously cannot beat? So you either definitely lose, or bail and get penalized? Oh my, that really encourages MP... DBC
Yes. I did that just now, actually. I joined a room, and after a while, the little red "leave this room" arrow in the top left corner went away. Then a cheater joined, so I brute-force-quit the room by quitting the app. Asphalt 8 interprets that as losing a race (even though the race hadn't started yet), so I lost 10 world series points.
Whats a good way to farm money? And is it true that the higher level you are, the more money you gain in multiplayer matches? I'm not sure where i read that
Any of the versus races where one specific car is racing another specific car in whatever series you're furthest into will yield the best money. Series 8 preferably but if you're not that far, whatever is you're highest series unlocked one.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a first A class car? I've got $183,000 saved upright now and I'm not sure what would be the best to get. I'm also debating just holding onto it in case the Agera goes on sale again.
You just gotta buy the right cars and not upgrade any cars beyond level 1 for each part (nitro etc). I can't say I didn't grind, but after I grinded a bit to get the corvette mid season I managed to unlock the rest without MUCH grinding. For me, replaying races to get 5 stars doesn't count as grinding. Stars give you the most credits, so even for races that your car doesn't hit the minimum recommended rank, you can still do the extra stars (5xflat spins, no wrecks etc). I've unlocked season 8 already. Season 1: 60/60 Season 2: 75/75 Season 3: 73/90 Season 4: 99/105 Season 5: 88/120 Season 6: 94/135 Season 7: 76/150 Season 8: 12/165 I get the feeling that season 8 is where you have no choice but to grind, so I've stopped playing after that.
