@atchoo I got that bug too for the first time today. It happened from a miss-loaded picture add, the screen was grey and I went for the X even though there was no X and I usually press Esc/Back to get out of adds. So the fix is dont press X, just push on Back phone button to exit from adds.
I do remember on the last two pages, someone promising us an update on the upcoming A8A update. I now take it to mean the ones I've come across here and elsewhere to be the official infor on what to expect. Kudos A8
Nowhere, and since yesterday appeared info on this week cups chances are the update was pushed to Saturday or next week.

@Fabien I don't know if you remember but almost a year ago you promised us that after the summer update we will have Apex Cups with different engines, but until now only V8, V10 and Rotary have been used in Apex, and that's very disappointing. We all wanted V12 and FIV8 and if GL doesn't plan on putting these on Apex, I rather prefer the random engines that we used to receive a year ago.
Hey guys, the udpate should also land on iOS and windows today. We are waiting on it. Well yes, if I remember correctly, we had to modify the game to add the posibility of adding more kinds of rewards. Well I will mention this to the whole team, and I have already told that to the guys in charge of the rewards. I ll edit this post as soon as I get a reply from the A Team.
@Fabien Are you guys serious? Car upgrades for level 3 and up cost only tokens? You will lose so much players if you don't fix this or make tokens a lot more accessible. Over 10000 tokens to upgrade a car is really ridiculous.
It seems only for R&D cars (I hope), but anyway, it seems a crazy idea... It will be impossible even for me, a player who have played this game for 2 years almost everyday and usually get all rewards from events... Now, only hackers will be able to upgrade the cars completely
I've just seen pics of the Mosler GT level 5 upgrades. you're having a giraffe, aren't you? Fabien - cheers for all your hard work, but it would appear that the accountants are bleeding the game dry (drier than it was already). utterly shameless behaviour. we don't need new cars a recorder for iOS to replace twitch is welcomed, if it works well a new track would be good (but not essential, just modify the ones we have already) a bit more thought in devising the cups, which cars are picked to race others fixing the various glitches that have been reported countless times over the months / years and doing something about the hackers and account sharers/sellers - we keep reporting, but they persist, on Windows mainly, but also iOS. it's the little things that make a difference - like Hector's request to reverse the count in prokit inventory, to make it easier to sell single units. and adding in a confirm button for significant purchases. if the leaked pics I've seen are legitimate, then you will lose the core of your players, and be left with the dregs. I implore you to rethink your strategy, for the sake of the game.
@hectorx In a month its gonna be 2 years since I started playing and I played every single day. I always asked more rewards for faithful players and I guess this is our reward.
Well, since Asphalt 9 is out next year, I don't think Asphalt 8 will be getting much attention now. It's a last ditch effort to get whatever they can from the game. Staying with the game till its death doesn't seem too bad as long as you don't buy the newer cars.
