OK, so in season 6, London Classic, one of the stars is 5 perfect runs. Has anybody been able to do this? No matter how hard I try, I can't even get one perfect run. It's a short, 2 lap, track, it seems impossible to get 5, let alone 1 or 2. Anyone?
IMO it's not that inconceivable. As he stated, he clipped an obstacle mid flight which may have exaggerated his spin violently. If the spin is fast enough, there's every reason to believe its achievable to get 17 spins in under 6.34 seconds.
If I were you, I'd delete and re-install the game. The issue may lie in the fact that you upgraded your Pre-release edition somehow. I've had no problems with multiplayer with my game. iCloud should save your progress, it saved mine when I decided I'd chosen the wrong cars and upgrades first time around.
Yeah, I guess that would be the next logical step. Just hope it saves my progress though cause it's not synching the other stuff.
It's very possible. It happened to me too. It happens when you get the mentioned ramp bad, near the border. The game begins performing the helicopter and rolls but the car crashes against the ramp and it goes shooting up into the sky as the rocket in that level. The problem I had was that unfortunately my car landed upside down and crashed, but the spin counter was around x17-x18 when it crashed. So yeah, I've seen it too, it happens (and it's cool!).
I use the all-touch steering wheel. The only "but" is that the left finger must be in the lower part of the screen. You can't turn left-right with the finger in the middle of the screen, so I sometimes fid myself not steering because my finger has gone higher than expected. This steering option is much more precise than the left/right sides of the screen, because you can control the % of steering transmitted to the car. I wish I could put the steering wheel up a little. Nonetheless, GL has improved this input method a lot since A7. In A7 I had my car stop steering a lot of times, and it wasn't because of the finger position. In A8 you just have to be careful to have your left finger in the bottom part of the screen and it works flawlessly.
Ok, question for the A8 experts: I bought car packs D & C with IAP, and bought the cheapest cars in classes B, A, & S. I'm in the middle of season 5 with just under $50,000 in the bank. I was hoping to get some advice on what to buy next, if I should buy something now or save for a certain car down the road. Any input would be appreciated, thanks.
In class B , i beat everybody on most of the races including killjoy, JBRUU, but rip73 is way too ahead, dang.. You pay real money in this game man for iap's, coz your 458 italia way too fast,lol.
Nope. The 458 is just one hell of a car. Plus I'm not too bad at racing games anyway, not great, but not bad either. I did reset the game and buy a car pack once I'd gotten 875 stars because I wanted to try out a different strategy but the ghost times that are up there are from my first play through with no iap at all. Trust me, iap isn't necessary because I still had 38 cars before the reset. And on my second play through, I'm only on season 2 or 3, so I haven't even rebought the 458 yet. I was considering going with the GTR this time but after what you said, I think I'll stick with my first choice. At a two upgrade level, the 458 is one hell of car. If I remember right, I had to upgrade it to three levels for season 8 but other than that, its all two upgrades and it corners and accelerates like a go cart. Juts a brilliant car in the game.
Yeah, 458 italia out performs GT-R once upgraded, though at stock GT-R may be better. I am done with level 2 upgrades of my 458, now grinding to get it to level 3 upgrades.
Wtf is this about beating me in class B I haven't touched a damn video game in a week. I still need to beat Hoggy
Bought the Corvette as my second and middle-class Tier A car. Upgraded to 2/2/2/2. It's a beast but pretty difficult to handle. Doesn't steer well on drifting. Had some fun learning to bring it through the tight hairpin S curves in Monaco without any braking and without crashing. Bought the Lambo Veneno as well. My first Tier S car. As said before, it's a weapon. Seems I'll be fine with those investments for a while…

Where are you guys grinding to save? Midway through season seven and need the 458. What do you find to be the feast way to get cash outside of iap?
We need some true friends mp, then it would be more obvious who is best, and it would be more incentive to play this game.
