Sure I will talk about this MP room issue with the team, but if the solution gets players to wait longer in the rooms, I doubt that everyone will like it. By the way the Lamborghini Egoista R&D event should start soon.
Thanks Fabien, please do. Just to clarify, I'm talking about MP Events and not regular MP. I doubt it will take more than 15s to fill up a room when there are hundreds of thousands of players playing. Right now, after your first few races you need to go in and out of 10-15 rooms in order to find a somewhat full one and not everybody got time/patience for that! But if you don't do it you will get stuck in a 3-4 players room and won't get many points even after winning. Given then amount of players playing, I believe it won't take more than 5-10s if the devs just tweak their system. I'm sure anyone will gladly wait 5-10s extra (not even always necessary) if it meant they will get more points. Most people who play MPE somewhat seriously will 100% agree with me here.
Fabien, could you ask the development team to look into increasing the amount of players who can appear on the Friend leaderboard in the game? Currently, there is a 100-player limit in place on iOS. Once you have added 100 Asphalt 8 players on Game Center, anyone that you add after that number will never appear on your Friend leaderboard (on the other hand, they will be able to see you, assuming they have not yet reached the 100-player cap). Many of the people that I added on Game Center back in early 2014 no longer play A8. However, because they were the first ones to be synced to my game, they still count as names, and they take up spots for nothing. I started playing A8 almost 2 years ago, and have added over 200 people on Game Center. However, due to the current cap, not a single player that I've added in 2015 currently appears on my Friend list. Most of them are still active players, but I can't see their race results or ghost times because inactive players take up most of the space. It's very annoying. If expanding the amount of players turns out to be impossible, we should at least have the option to delete inactive players from our game, in order to allow active/more recent Game Center friends to appear. This Christmas event it's a bs. You can use every car but AI has ranks 1701-1720(?). Not cool GL, not cool. I don't know if update mess up or my SD card sucks but game freezing more often than any before.
You don't even need to win the race to get the cups in the Christmas Cup. All you are missing out on are the credits from the race rewards, so why are you so pissed?
Isn't it a bit rigged that you can use car from ranks D to S but AI is S ~1700-1720 ranks? On iOS and android(?) you getting free car, right? Correct me if I'm wrong. Last buts cup or whatever that was called was well tuned for everyone, wasn't so? So Christmas cup should be also tuned for everyone in my opinion. Christmas time is here so I'm maybe bit overreacting I'm more pissed of my game performance that freezes a lot more and often which drives me crazy.
I still don't understand. You'll get the rewards even if you lose the race. If you're angry because you want to win the race regardless of whether it has an effect on the rewards, then I'm speechless.
I already won it but it was surprisingly hard(?) due to AI cars ranks. I thought that special cups are easier to win and can be completed by rookies. So win-win for everyone.
@Fabien Again lots of cheaters on Windows in China Cup, Sniper Fury Cup and Christmas Cup but they are sneakier. But at least 50 players from Top 100 are cheats. Can you please clean up the leaderboards? HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
@Fabien, @ all the members Hi you guys, I have a quick question. Did anyone try to buy the V10 engine box which has at least 1 V10 engine and has received no v10 engine card. I had only 4 v10 in my stock and i was thinking to buy a few of this boxes to progress further in the Egoista R&D. But this has just happened to me today. I have paid 900 tokens for a box that had no V10 engine in it. I made some screenshots of this false and misleading advertising and i will submit this to the UK Trading Standards Office and to the Advertising Standards Authorithy. They will be able to investigate this and i will also make a claim to the customer care team. This a embarassing situation for Gameloft.
LOL wow. Well at least for me, the V8 box works. But I haven't bought the V10 box since it isn't bang for buck. And in your case, I'd be uber-pissed as well
can a just stared free player acquire the event Lamborghini? Or is it only for long playing / paying players? i managed to complete the 6th test just now, spening all of my 50k credits that i earned from the first chapter races. But the upgrades are now costing 50k - 80k each, and with only 3 tries per 3 hours.. is it doable? or should i stop dreaming?
@ramzarules For you, I dont think so. Play as much as you can without investing in the car so you can use what you win on other cars. You need a few millions to max and PRO the car, so if you didnt unlock Season 9 or dont have a car 1700+ maxed and proed you cant farm rapidly. In this game you can advance if you're a good player and you either invest real money or invest time and farm.
