Fabien, over the past year, the multi-player World Series leaderboard on iOS has lost most of its luster. When the San Diego track was added to the game, your development team also altered the algorithm that used to force high-ranked players to compete against opponents who had stronger cars than their own (S-class cars excepted, of course). Subsequently, almost anyone was able to use slow cars and boost their ratings all day (which many did). The addition of the DeZir to the game in January made that problem significantly worse; a 900 DeZir will easily beat any other type of car around that rank. Low-ranked DeZirs are now all over multi-player. As a result, many of us are finding it difficult to continue to care about the World Series leaderboard. Something should be done to make it appealing again. Here's my suggestion: Players ranked in the top 100 (or top 50, if top 100 is too large a bracket) should have access to an exclusive winning streak that enables them to win random cards for placing in the top 3 in 9/12/15/x consecutive races. It doesn't have to be many cards; only 3 or 4 would suffice. Currently, the rewards for multi-player are terrible. It doesn't seem right that I, with over 9500 multi-player victories to my name, receive the same prizes as someone with only 95 wins. To make it more challenging, this exclusive winning streak would only function if the player is using a car with a rank of at least 1500 (in order to prevent abuse on the part of players who use low-ranked DeZirs and obtain easy wins over beginners). There is always stronger competition when fast cars are involved. The top 100 players who use fair cars like the Felino and Ferrari 330 p4 would have a chance to be compensated for the time and trouble it took them to win all their points; the players who use low-ranked DeZirs to gain theirs would be forced to take risks they usually never take in order to have a shot at the cards. (I predict that many of them will be too scared to try.) Do you think this is something that the developer team could implement in a future update, for the sake of players who have devoted a lot of time to making it in the top 100? If there is no particular advantage to being displayed on the World Series leaderboard, why should players devote hours upon hours to playing multi-player for that purpose? A long time ago, this leaderboard used to be quite prestigious and difficult to reach; now, it's populated by names that you won't even find in the top 1,000 of a normal TLE.
Fabien, I think you remember my suggestion already some months ago concerning mp. Different solution, but based on the same problem described here again. I e.g. don't play mp anymore due to this (made less than 100 mp races the whole year 2015).
The development team does not seem interested in restoring the matchmaking system back to what it was prior to September 2014 (i.e. a sensible system), but they should at least give the World Series leaderboard veterans (I've been on there since March 2014) some kind of compensation, which is exactly what this exclusive winning streak would be. I don't mind using a Felino or S-class car in multi-player; I've done it before many times. But nowadays, especially with the pro system in place, it's just not worth risking so many points unless there are valuable prizes at stake. Until they add such prizes, I'm sticking with my non-maxed Cobra, which handles any DeZir or low-ranked Biome very easily. Believe me, I would love to use other cars if the rewards justified the risk. But right now, they don't.
That's true. It makes no fun to get even zero points for being first, but loose 7 for being beaten by a medium driver in an op car. I proposed a system that takes e.g. car rank differences and booster differences into account - but I think many know that suggestion, as it was worked out together with many others in g+ community.
A compensation for what, exactly? Having been around for a while and putting load on Gameloft's servers somewhat regularly? Those of us who witnessed the introduction of win streaks have already had an advantage that's hard to catch up to. Remember all those coin doublers and free upgrades across all car classes? I still have free D-class upgrades from that era, so I still have an edge over others thanks to multiplayer rewards. If anything, I think multiplayer should be changed to be more enticing to new players, as opposed to veterans. The current system strikes me as way too rigid. Take me as an example: I reached my target score of 3333 world series points roughly one year ago, I've stayed at 3333 points since then (with the exception of two short trips into 32xx land, IIRC), and I only dropped out of the iOS top 100 some time during the last week or so. After. One. Freaking. Year. It's way too easy to stay at the top once you've reached it, because the gaps have become so huge over the years. A long time ago, I posted my own suggestions for a better scoring system, which revolved around expiring world series points, but it didn't seem popular. If Gameloft introduced a system like that, those who think being a veteran is something to be proud of would probably fight it tooth and nail.

Problem are the race rewards that are exploited by some using op cars. Punishment is too high and possibilites to win are too low. This is severe for high ranked drivers that don't use the gaps in the present system.
Not received token in bat cup I was having BMW m3 Sedan already. So i did play this cup for 500 tokens. But I didnt receive 500 tokens. I have received ET and other awards for the same cup. What is a process to report?
No discount on token for android but its on ios I can see there is no discount on token at android but it is available on Ios. Also off late i found ios is getting biased treatment in terms ofcups and award..e.g ferrari p4 cup is available on ios but not on android.
Hey paraq79, I just read your post and you mentioned "no token discount". I'm on iOS and they are not offering any discounts currently on token purchases. Unless it's only for a select group? Also, you mentioned in another post you didn't receive all your race rewards, specifically the 500 tokens. You have to file a complaint with customer care. Send screenshots along with your complaint showing where you finished ie; 25th or 50th etc. hope this helps.
H€IS€NBERG, It must be for select groups then as I'm also on iOS and there is a Token sale on, for another 1d16h. I'm in the UK and all other UK players on iOS I know also have this sale on at the moment.
