@7.3k+ points i get 6 points from 1st position out of 8 players, dragged more than 800 tokens for this event only (somewhere between 800 and 1k) but i think i will be spending coupple hundreds more before its ending :|
Lol Dave. Your friends in the Facebook group blocked me after I responded to another user in G+ Community about Public Enemy's real life pic in the advertisement of the future cup. I guess you guys really got some problems on your hands huh? Well, that was definitely entertaining.
On cards: I don't mind the 18000 price, since it is the same as before and now you can one per 8 hours and I just two engines out of one. It kind of make those 4x random card event rewards even more pointless. One big problem with engine cards is figuring out if a engine card is useful is difficult. I have 6 i4 engine cards that are useless now but there is no way to check in game if it can be used by any existing car. wikia search helps but it also return tons of bad results and incomplete pages.
There is a way: Join G+ A8 community. In document section you can find several documents I made. One contains complete overview of all cars and the cards needed to pro them.
Actually it was me blocked you, I'm blocked on g+ so I'm not really sure exactly what happened there or what you responded to, but it wasn't for that specific reason. Some people want to play childish games so play childish games we shall, sorry you got caught in the crossfire. I've just spoken to Juan who should be in touch with you shortly (if he hasn't already) to get it cleared up.
Do you know what is going on there? I only read two or three comments where people used very rude languge on g+. Because of that they were banned. Understandable. But just banning people without any reason? I heard some rumours that it has started because of sharing infos in other groups. Is that the childish behaviour?
Well, I have spoken with juan here, and I have gotten a brief idea of what is going on in the background. The primary reason why G+ members are being banned is that they only join the AsphaltH Group to share information WITHOUT crediting the original owner of the screenshots. Secondly, I heard that the reason I was banned was because some Fury members spread false information about me trash talking their team. I believe that I did talked about them in the past (probably a few months ago) due to being frustrated with all the triple boosters, but I'm not too sure. I doubt that was the reason though, since none of them know that Chon P = Samhiuy, and they would have banned me right from the start if that was the case. My most recent interaction with any Fury member at all is with the guy name John Kineshanko in this post: https://plus.google.com/103917899825242868364/posts/jLJY156cHpK He threatened me with a ban, and I reported his comment so much times that it was removed. Dave, if I was banned because I used your screenshot of the Public Enemy ad without crediting you, then I apologize for that. However, what is this nonsense about me trash talking Fury again? To the AsphaltH Group Admins: If you would like to clear this "misunderstanding" (in quotes because there are manipulation involved as well), then I believe it is wise to set the rules straight and stick true to it. 1) It should be included in the rules of the group that outside groups should credit the owners of the screenshots if they were to use it, or else they will banned. 2) The members of the group should follow said rule, and credit owners of screenshots from other groups as well. A good example is this post: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1061925880527082&set=gm.1698473910393985&type=3&theater If anyone can't see the post, refer to the screenshots I have attached instead. The member Naru Srung has taken screenshots from the Asphalt 8 Airborne Players group run by Ng Kiat Quan (also a member of the Asphalt Wiki) without crediting anyone. Is this not a breach of your own rules then? Should this person be expelled from the other groups and your own group as well? This includes any information taken from Tieba Baidu as well. I'm Chinese, so I can keep tab of the Chinese sources and know when someone is taking information from there without crediting their owners. No one should be exempted from this rule. 3) Whoever is manipulating information behind the scenes should be dealt with. It would be great to reveal whatever they have said, and the evidence to support their claims. If they have claimed that I have trashed talked Fury, then I suggest them to go through ALL of my posts until they find it. I would love to have some names, but I'm sure you wouldn't reveal them. Perhaps I should ask for the Chinese community's help as well, and no, it's not Baidu. I'm also a contributor to another site akin to the Wiki, and we have been affiliated for some time now as seen here: http://www.a8yjs.com//asphalt8/devotees.jsp This is the Chinese equivalent of our Wiki, and it is also a platform for Chinese players to share their videos and information. Perhaps I should make use of the platform. and actually spread bad rumors about Fury? I don't like to be threatened, and there is a need to make this public. There is nothing to hide, and I believe that it should be addressed directly. URGENT: Well well well. Is John Kineshanko the same person as Mr MotorAway? Mind coming out for a second, and explain what you have been doing behind the scenes? What kind of false information are you spouting, and what kind of BS are you up to? If I got the wrong person, then I wholeheartedly apologize.
Chon, wow, thanks for the long answer. I was also pushed out of that group months ago, never got any reason why. This is not very professional. More like GL ban (Sorry Fabien ). But I don't care, never had a feeling about any loss due to this in my A8 life. Even if someone doesn't like not being credited, he can tell: "Hey that pic is from my group, I would like to have credits." I don't think that this would have been refused. So in principle a fair and peaceful solution would have been possible. Disappointing that other ways are used. Anyhow, You know that I also post a lot of useful information, but I don't care if there is a credit or not, I just want to help the whole community. I'm good enough to stand a fair competition and don't need to use extra info for an advantage over others. Chon, I know you understand me as you act similar with wiki. Due to this we worked great together in the past exchanging info's. By the way, my pro doc contains each at present available pro info of the cars. (with the upgrade prices I had some professional help - thanks again for that, the one I mean, knows ). I have put some in wiki, but my doc was already a lot of work, it's to much for me to complete also wiki. As usual you or another active wiki writer is free to include it. Apart from this, those future cup pics are somehow stolen from GL game. If I would make something like this, I wouldn't be that eager on getting credits. Those John comments I have read, that was really a reason to ban someone from a group. Abuses are no civilized human behaviour.
Hey Fabien, what happened with sidewalks after update? They are a pain now, car makes bounces when you driver over them on Tokyo...
Not only this, I had a number of weird wrecks on completely straight road, no obstacles, no traffic in view, no AI or human drivers. Just one second I am driving, the other one I look on my crashed car... It happened to me e.g. during the Kepler cup in Barcelona reverse or in one of the Sector 8 TLEs.
I didn't "threaten" you with a ban; I'm not a moderator over at the FB group, so that's beyond my power. However, I knew that you'd already been banned, so I was just informing you of that. I have no idea who you are and I'm not spreading "false information" about you or anyone, so take your paranoid delusions elsewhere. "Air Rigby" banned 5-6 Fury members from the Google+ group in retaliation for Google+ members being banned from the Facebook group due to their uncredited sharing of pics. I was the only non-banned Fury member remaining there, which is why I made sure to get myself banned promptly.
Hi again Fabien, it seems like last 3 time limited events have included traffic. I wonder if it is just coincidence, but this is a big handicap for those player that don't have traffic in the game (Probably due to hardware limitations). Some people have said it to me on my youtube channel, and they are disappointed... Also, for me it can be a problem to make videos, because I can't find a similar race in quick race. It would be nice if traffic could be enabled or disabled on quick race. Also select the number of laps
@Fabien Thank yow for fixing the release issue on Windows Store. The game still has a few issues after the update, the Super Racer Kit Box is still a 24 hours box and the Exhaust Parts Box only gives cards for D and C class cars.
Why do we need 5 and 4 fuel bars for the Kepler Motion events on Windows when it was 4 and 3 for other platforms ? Why not the same track and not the same prizes ? Have we, Windows users, done something wrong that Gameloft wants to punish us for ? Edit: and no car to win, does it mean we will have to win the Kepler through a R&D ?
About price difference I understand the concern, but is more fuel really a disadvantage. You need less races (effords) to get the car.
