Fabien the issue with drivers inserting themselves after the event finishes has been happening on iOS for some months now. it was reported to Rares frequently. it is usually drivers with WW flags and under-ranked cars in impossibly fast times. for example, the second Camaro VIP cup that finished recently, the top 4 are late entries: as for the reduced won/unclaimed upgrades, I have had a few reduced from multiples down to singles following the update. and have heard reports from many others of the same, also the extra tanks from Mastey #15 for the Camaro and Datsun reduced from 12 to 3 and 6 respectively. I'm not a fan of R&D either. and now the car might not go on sale afterwards? as Dave and Juan said above, you have a great game, don't spoil it by being greedy, please.
Maybe this is not as egregious as the missing unclaimed and yet to be claimed rewards in the mastery events but the credit values for replaying mastery events have been reduced also...
I think that's a response to the abuse by certain people. There was a certain cheat tool that could allow for infinite videos, so people use it to gain lots of Tokens and win Multiplayer Events like it is nothing. Although I don't like that it is gone, I'm also happy to let it disappear into the void if it can stop cheaters.
People lost their double credits too? I'm glad I claimed those immediately. I've only used one and still have 4 in stock.
I appreciate your goals in this game are vastly different to mine (and I suspect most players) due to the work you do geared towards the wiki etc, but I won't be having that as an excuse for this particular issue. The refill ads being abused was on a small section of android only with players using a specific emulator tool similar to bluestacks, I'll not name it here but I'm sure most know it by now. It's not a cheat tool either, it's simply the way the ad blocker on that emulator works with the current game setup. Gameloft can see exactly how and from what source tokens and other pro items are added to an account due to them being based on their servers, a prime example of this was the recent two week bans dished out to players who committed the grave offence of being offered and accepting the beanboozled ad more than once per day. I don't accept at all that removing the ads for millions of others who don't even have the possibility to abuse it is the best or even an acceptable response to the problem. It's simply greed and laziness on GLs part, and if less people acted as apologists for this sort of thing then it might be viewed differently, although I seriously doubt it if I'm being really honest. When gameloft went fully OTT freemium with the winter update and made it possible for players to get easily in deep for hundreds and even thousands of dollars, there should have been an extra layer of player care factored into their service. As it is, it has gotten worse. No amount of excuses will ever make up for that abdication of responsibility in my eyes. They don't do anything about serious cheating in the game so to inconvenience millions of players over something minor like this is completely unacceptable.
Any thoughts on the wider issues raised here Fabien and the direction the game is going? Do you think that people will continue to dump hundreds or thousands of dollars into it every update with these new gimmicks? Is there any hope that GL might start to cater for the vast majority of players who will spend some money but can't afford astronomical sums? Or has the decision already been made to milk the 'VIPs' for all you can at the expense of the rest of us and your reputation? I've spoken to you privately quite a bit in the past (Dave Anderson on facebook in case you're not sure) about various issues and reported exploits etc and how they work. Despite the angry tone of my last two posts here you should know already that I'm a reasonable guy who wants nothing more than a fairer and more inclusive environment for all players, not just the brabus and killers of the game that you seem to be chasing for all they're worth (although how you're getting money out of brabus these days when he has over 5000 free refills in storage, hundreds of engine-only champ boxes, everything max pro'd and all decals bought, and therefore no need to buy any more tokens, is a mystery to me). Can you please give us an honest reply as to whether there is any hope for the 95% of players that you seem to have forgotten about when you price them out of the game? Do GL have any integrity when it comes to customer experience and reputation as a games maker instead of simply as a money maker? Thanks.
Yeah, I thought not. Figures really, shouldn't be surprised. Just so you know Fabien, when you edited your reply about the Huracán going on sale after R&D ends yesterday to say it might not go on sale after all, it is obvious to most people that you've done so simply to increase uncertainty about what players should do over the next 15 days when faced with a decision to spend tokens or not before the end of the event. You want players to have as little information as possible available when making a decision on their spending, knowing full well that people will be investing valuable tech cards and more in the car for the next two weeks, and will feel obliged to use tokens when they face the reality that they might end up with nothing at all. What a disgusting way to do business.

I haven't finished claiming my mastery upgrade rewards yet (started last night after buying more cars, storage, etc) and now the game is forcing the update on me just a few hours after I stopped to go to sleep. I want my upgrades that I have worked hard to earn. Why is GL being so unfair? I don't have piles of money to blow on this game and this is honestly insulting. My game has never forced an update on me so early in the day, usually it comes later for me. Fabien I would like a response. I'm writing to customer care as well. I was even going to order a new Apple TV to replace my existing one, just on the basis that I could possibly play this game on my HDTV (I hate playing over AirPlay) but this is probably just going to be the end for me. Too much work put in to have things taken away. I know I'm not the only one facing these problems but even in this case where I tried to be proactive about it, I still get screwed over.
Then again, working for Gameloft is his choice. Speaking of choices, Fabien, any news on those rewards Gameloft chose to snatch from us? Just in case you don't understand what everyone is so worked up about: You encourage customers to spend money on attaining rewards. Then once they have attained them, you diminish those rewards. Are your lawyers sure this isn't fraud?
I had to dig up an old email from June just so I could contact customer care. I hope I can get some kind of help from them. Feel so bad right now. Only stopped claiming rewards last night (at 2AM) because I had to make sure I would be able to get up on time for work (which I did). Boss gives me a break for a few hours before lunch because my hard work yesterday prevented some clients from taking their business elsewhere, and I'm thinking great, grab some more stuff and then be able to update and start on the WRX tonight (was super excited). Now I have to stare at the update screen hoping for good news. And RB is right, those rewards are something we earned, whether we paid with our hard work and time, or with credits and tokens. They were already promised and given. They should not be taken away.

Since I could not access the game due to being blocked by the update screen, I had to email them using an old email/old ticket number for a minor issue that had not been resolved. They have not replied back yet so I don't know if they will use that old ticket number or assign me a new one.
Fabien i have the same issue with the mastery challenge rewards. The only difference is that i haven't updated yet. I have many unclaimed upgrades, and i am close to proing the Camaro for those 12 extra tanks. Already invested 12 v6 and lots of other cards for those tanks. Since i can't play unless i update the game, i was thinkng to use those upgrades in some old cars and forget about the tanks. But then i read what you wrote: "I can insure you that this wasn't intended." If that is the case, i should update, lose the upgrades and then wait the customer care to give them back? Would love an answer to that, I also sent you with a pm my ticket number.
Not really, i've been missing token and refill ads for more than a week now (since all were gone for everybody). Am i doing something wrong? Are these videos for tokens and refills some kind of account bound? Should i make a ticket about it?
