Licenses not saving (Android) I was playing the mastery for the Dodge Dart and Felino cb7 and the rewarded licenses disappeared after recieving them. I was not able to claim the decal prize due to "no internet connection". After that I exited the game and found my licenses that I won (12) were gone and the challenge was completed, meaning I can never earn them back. I cannot buy pro-kits either. Please fix.
Hello guys, I hope that you enjoy the new update. By the way, it has just been released on Android. I would like to congratulate Samhiuy and all of the wikia members for the awesome work that they have done. The Wikia is looking great and it’s getting better and better all the time! Congrats! (I still have an issue with the main menu at the top of the page though, just like on many other wikias…). But I think the wikia now deserves some official promotion via Asphalt Facebook page or even in the game . http://asphalt.wikia.com/wiki/Asphalt_8:_Airborne We had a couple of issues with the server on July 22. As far as I know the issue should be solved, but we are still keeping an eye on this. We had this error 5004 issue again, but it is fixed as well. Please contact our Customer Care team via the in-game menu. They will be able to help you out. I will questioned the team to know if it is possible for you guys to influence the decision about the upcoming promotion. I am thinking of a voting system or something like this. I owe you guys update in the official suggestion thread of the forum, I will do this ASAP.

Yes, the update is simply amazing, and quite enjoyable. We are honored to have you praise our Wiki. Even though it's still going through a transition phase, and that lots of things are incomplete, we'll still work hard to make the Wiki better. I'm sure the Wikia members will be happy to hear this news. By the way, it seems like the Gameloft Forums are still buggy at times. I'm sure the team is on it though, since I noticed some bugs to be fixed. Still, I will get errors from time to time, and the display might be distorted for some odd reasons at times - such as when I log in.
@Fabien welcome back, hope you had a great holiday. the update is great, lots of positive feedback from iOS, and Android now they have it. it has expanded the game, opened the newer tracks up to more cars, and lots of prizes. well done, and thank you. a couple of questions (that you may or may not want to answer)...will there be any Mastery licences prizes beyond the Cobra? and will we be seeing unplugged TLEs/MPEs? your servers had a bit of a hiccup last week too, out for much of Thursday. and someone forgot to release the ONUK for its event, one of the devs had to run around Saturday morning to fix it. can I ask a favour...don't go on holiday again, please think there are still some server issues, a couple of friends on iOS haven't been able to race MPE for 48+ hours. and your forum isn't accessible (to me) in-game or via browser. I did email CC, but I guess they've been really busy dealing with others. cheers rez
Yeah, rez, there are still issues. I've been unable to play, except for a K One:1 run in S9 to keep the daily race bonus. Can't race any events because of the fuel levels out of sync error; can't Pro Upgrade any cars (error 0), and can't buy the Racer Kit box (error 5004). CC told me twice the problem was fixed when it was not. I got an email late yesterday that my ticket had been escalated to the Game team, whatever that means, and I got another email several hours ago that the problem was taking longer to fix than expected. In game forum use has been laggy at best, and not working at worst.
yes there are, beeranon. g+ has reports of continuing problems. 48 hours out-of-sync has turned into 72 hours for some. CC weren't aware of the forum outage...for me it's when I log in, the formatting goes screwy and I can't do anything. they had only looked without logging in, which I can do. but it's still v slow. CC said to me the forum won't be fixed before Monday when the tech guys return to work. I could be wrong, but I get the feeling that the same might be true for the wider server problems. since many users can race, then it's not deemed a major problem. and so CC are directed to stall users until then. which from GL's perspective I can understand. but is mighty frustrating for those of us that can't race in TLEs, access kits etc (I'm one of the lucky ones that hasn't been affected this time).
Agreed, and while it's frustrating to be one of what appears to be a minority of affected players, that's what it is. I've made an Inventory and Progress video that's up to date, with a scan through the entire garage, all the Mastery progress, Seasons 1-9 star levels, my boosts inventory, card inventory, and unopened Pro Box inventory. Can you think of anything else that should be included?
I think that's pretty much it. collections status maybe. cars you've bought recently, although you've probably got this covered. I'm thinking of any potential differences between the save-file on GL's server and your device/ recent unsaved activity, the save file may be a few days old or more. if you're thinking of claiming, even if you do get your cars/inventory back...recent TLE prize wins, so SSs of what finished events are available, with your position and prizes shown (LB too, although this will show a different position, as users seem to be able to insert themselves after the finish). also TLE prizes that could have been realistically won in current events you've not been able to play.
Good thinking. I had forgotten that I was unable to claim anything on P1 and Nismo, although I finished 14 on the P1 and 12 on the Nismo. Not going to worry about that, I don't think. I'd like the four engine cards from Wednesday Apex, but I don't have a SS, so no proof.
have the results from APEX disappeared for you, still showing for me - or can you not access anything server-related? when I lost data in March I started saving SS of every event. this stopped after a month. I think I might restart, just in case. its like insurance, or appliance warranties - when you have them, nothing happens. when they expire..... good luck, hope you make progress with CC. just be patient with them, they're probably a bit fragile, will have been a busy time for them dealing with the fallout, they've no doubt taken some stick from some rather vexed users.
Same thing goes for me @Fabien: any news regarding the Stunt King Contest rewards? I still haven't received anything, sent private message here, on G+, facebook and nothing, even contacted customer care support but things are moving very slow...
Wednesday APEX reported to me that I won no prizes, although GL told me in an earlier email I did not win the top 10k prize because I finished 16xxx in the Cup according to their database. My response was, fair enough, I was within top 10k last I looked, but I didn't even receive the participation prizes for the Cup, which included an engine box. No direct response to that yet. I still have a couple of Cups unclaimed (Iceland and the McLaren 675LT Cups); when I looked this morning, Iceland had disappeared, but 675LT was still there unclaimed. Not sure whether I should try to claim them or not. I would not be surprised if my sync issues, while GL's responsibility, may have been exacerbated by my playing in Airplane mode while on a plane and crossing a couple of time zones (Birmingham, AL to San Francisco back to Birmingham). I can't necessarily pinpoint exactly when the issue cropped up, as I was dealing with a family emergency and was not paying close attention to my A8 synch.
hey Fabien, did Gameloft change the chasis or textures of some cars since last update or is it me? some of them now look more realistic and less cartoonish which is good. By the way you guys finally put new engine sounds in the new cars, despite 3 of them are classic cars so those could not had modern engine sounds, but looks like the Mclaren P1 GTR also has a new engine sound, thank you for the change
We have noticed this, we will see if it is necessary to slightly modify the car. However, if you upgrade the car, the issue with handling will get less and less noticeable.
