Top 100 time on the Windows "mistaken cheaterboard" for the D-class cup is now 1:07.4, versus iOS at 1:29.1. I am not amused. And I am not going to blow a precious extra tank on this when I have essentially no hope of reaching a top 500 finish. The M3 MPE cup is totally screwed up too. There are speed hackers GALORE on this thing! I just raced someone who finished French Guiana in 00:53.766. And then in the next race, TWO speed hackers, and one finished 00:49.766. Of course, they take everyone else out as well because they're going so much faster. NOT F-ING AMUSING. This is total BS. And the fact that no one from GameLoft had the decency to comment on it today - even with their other make-work projects going on - is inexcusable. I am seriously pissed off right now after blowing boosts and fuel on this in the hope of not losing out on EVERYTHING. Yesterday I had 150k in the bank (I don't like farming), and now I'm down to just 60k credits because I just haven't had the will to try to recoup my false losses from these events.
Yeah tbh it's not even the tech issues that bother me. I can appreciate that there are bugs to work out in a detection system, but I can't appreciate being told "fku hacker" when those bugs arise. Mismanaging you data systems is one thing; mismanaging your customer experience, quite another.
Tech issues are indeed one thing. I'm one of the biggest complainers about cheaters on GL's forums (especially about the time hack, and trying to explain how it works and how it can be detected to GL's staff), so I appreciate any effort to weed cheaters out. But blatant, obvious cheaters continue to populate the legitimate leaderboards, while hopelessly flawed attempts to catch cheaters like this, do nothing but snare the innocent. If it happens, fine. BUT IT HAS TO BE MANAGED. Ever heard of "public relations"? All silent on the western front in the midst of a catastrophe is not a proper response. Customer "Care" reps who have no clue what's going on assuming their systems are infallible and insulting their honest customers... is not a proper response. I haven't received a Ticket ID or response to my support form, so I don't know if it went through or not.
If you didn't get a ticket number immediately after sending the e-mail, you should send it again as soon as possible. Those are supposed to be automated.
Normally I'd agree with that, although the one time I've used Gameloft's service system before, the ticket number email took about 18 hours to come through... so I kind of wonder if someone has to actually look at it first. Then it was another 3+ days to get a first response. EDIT: funny. Yesterday's daily box had a Mid-Tech card... today's has a V12 Engine (only the 3rd one I've ever received). Of course, this is tempered by actually competing against speed hackers, who can complete a 1:20 track in 0:49. EDIT 2: Submitted an email directly to support@ and got an automated response back that they only accept emails from the online form.
New user here. Registered since I seem to be affected by this cheater board bug as well starting with the current Class D and BMW M3 cups on iOS. I have always been on the normal boards until today. But my leaderboard is now the same as Motor's where the top racers have incredible times with low spec'd vehicles and no boosts. Clearly impossible times. Is the bug where you are mistakenly added to the cheater board a widespread problem? If you are mistakenly added to the cheater board, can you still win prizes? How do you return to the normal board? Do you have to submit a support request? Or will it move you back at the next round of events? This is the first time I have ever heard about and been affected by the cheater board, so I'm curious how it works.
Well i can tell you this: i dont have the beemer, im doing fine in BMW MPTLE and im able to play the other TLEs without anything suspicious going on.
There's speculation that the ORDER you do the BMW cups matters. MP before solo. Also, you're on a different platform... the issue may not be the same there. At any rate, this is all guesswork anyways, because it's not like GL has commented, nor do I think that anyone affected has received an informative answer yet. But I am NOT cheating but I *AM* on the cheaterboard. FYI, position #100 in the D-class cup is now showing as 1:06.132. Compare that with your Android leaderboard.
Welcome here The bug is widespread problem at present. I was one time in the past on the board. The prices I have achieved there, I got. I was only for one event on the board, but in the past I heard that several had to ask to get removed again. But I also asked cc for compensation as I lost some prices, maybe they had removed me again. Maybe we are only trying to see an order in an absolute chaos. I can only agree. I was banned two times and now moved to a "cheaterboard" for the second time. If one asks cc, what is their anser: Everything ok. We never make mistakes. You are a cheater. (Fabien you are not meant.) I understand that obviously there are a lot of cheaters here. But it must be clear that their system is far from perfect and simply ignoring complains from customers is a real severe problem.
Yes. Through the asphalt tracker function where you find quick solo and wifi modes. My understanding is that you get notifications of friends making new ghosts etc so you pick one that you don't own or haven't maxed and you're able to play it. That might not be 100% accurate as I haven't personally tried it but apparently it does work.
I am now off the cheater board. Which is nice. But now there is no one to race in the Mptle as they are all on the cheater board ffs. This is a pr disaster, GL needs to put it hands up admit it f#%ked up and compensate everyone involved. It not the first time this has happened. A proper company would act and make it up to their customer not just try and hide. It's not like giving everyone the second teir of prizes would actually cost them anything ! How did you get off? I contact CC a day ago and haven't heard a peep. Contacted them again about 8 hours ago, haven't heard a peep (or gotten a ticked ID from either). EDIT: I'll be blunt... their forum, while far from great and loaded with bugs, did at least function as a forum. Their customer care contact system, however, would not work at all for me from within the game, and so far has been a 1-sided affair trying to go through the website. And even when it does "work", it wants information that is, for many devices such as my Windows tablet, impossible and meaningless to give, but nonetheless forced. I think completely revamping their contact system should have been a much higher priority than redoing their forum!
