I have lodged a ticket... no ticket number back, but the last time I did that it took like a day to get the automated response, and several more days to get a form response. And yeah, the in-game reporting system would NOT work for me. It's up, and you can start to fill out the form, but it would not populate fields for models of phones, the game I'm playing, or where I bought it. All useless information, but it won't let you submit without filling them out - and you can't fill out a blank drop-down. I switched over to filling it out through the normal website (instead of in-game) and did get it to go through. And yes, I've seen that on iOS... crazy over there too.
it works through. browser? that's something g at least. I know others got as far as you did...automated response, yes, but no ticket ID. keep trying to better your Sector 8 time, and take a SS of the best, use that to claim prizes from CC afterwards...is all I can think of for now. I might write to one of my Cc contacts, see if they can advise what any of us should do while things are askew.
Sunfox, I don't think you have been put on cheaterboard intentionally. At present on all three platforms Android, iOs and Windows strange things occur on leaderboard. Some see ridiculous short times, some are on separate leaderboards as for division events, some see some other drivers not in their leaderboard, but the rest of the drivers are exactly the same. I am 100% sure that there is something going completly wrong on GL side. As forum is down there is nothing what we can do quickly except hoping that Fabien is reading here (as rez said). But he is definitely very busy with the new forum. I also got no answer from him the last couple of days.
Yeah, it seems like most of the people have been thrown into the cheaterboards. I really want to win the Mid-Techs from the D Class Event, but I'm having trouble staying in Top 500. I don't know how much of the positions are occupied by cheaters, but I know for sure that my time - 1:30.156 - is not going to allow me to stay in. I've been trying and it's really difficult to get a perfect run on this map. I wish this map was available on the Quick Race Mode so I can practice on it, but Gameloft has been holding on for too long. We have Tenerife as the new Event/Multiplayer Exclusive maps, so there is no need to keep SDH and Sector 8 exclusive as well. Also, I just met a cheater for the first time on the BMW M3 Multiplayer Cup. The guy - Ayato-x - went through French Guiana in less than a minute. It was amazing seeing him fly through the map and disappear just like that. I have no problems with the BMW Cups since I have given up winning the cars, but the D Class Cup is very important. Those Mid-Techs!
One month ago I would have simply said, stay cool and complain to cc afterwards. I was placed on cheaterboard some time ago and lost around 15 cards due to this. GL compensated me with a champion kit box. This was absolutely ok for me, even generous! But now after I received only 150 tokens for an insane loss of over 1000 tokens and 100 cards (20 mid-techs), I am not sure what will happen. But what can we do at present - nothing
Guess we'll see what happens. Since I can't quite fully Pro my Scion (gah, who knew I'd need D tires??), my expectations are lower. I'd love Top 3000, but would live with Top 5000. Same with both M3 cups - all I really care about is at the Top 5000 level. Random cards are always nice, but I can always get enough of those in my daily box or other cups... mid-techs (and to a slightly lesser extent, advanced techs) are what I've been sorely lacking. I'm not sure whether it's worth blowing a double tank on this mess or not.
Not sure what platform you're on, but Windows is throwing out a lot of false positives. I contacted CusSup about it, and got told i was using 'infinite nitro'. When I protested (because, seriously, I wasn't) I was just told "there's nothing wrong with out server's detection system". So... yeah. I got kicked onto the S8R cheater board, too. Noticed a LOT of legit names on there around me. So instead of catching hackers, GL is now punishing legit players even more. Just when you thought things couldn't get worse? GG GL. Meanwhile, elsewhere... slid in to top 15 on Amateur S. Opened 40 Randoms. While I did get four mid techs, I didn't get a single Legendary engine card. FML. ~LOL~
Yup, Windows here. Seems like we're cursed with false positives - last time was a cup involving the DeZir, wasn't it? Can't imagine what they're possibly detecting on a stock car race. I got 23 cards from the Amateur-S MPE (man, that was a NIGHTMARE) and not a single mid-tech or legendary anything among them. Only highlight was 4 S-cards. Now, my daily box had a mid-tech though, so there was that.
Last time cc also told everything is fine. There is no mistake on our side. It seems that in my separate M3 Mp cup only players that own already maxpro car are included.
I went around looking for information on Baidu and found that some players that already owned the car still get thrown into the cheaterboard. Also, what is with the nitro hack excuse Gameloft always use? Is that the only accusation they can think of? Honestly, if anyone of us is using the nitro hack, I'm pretty sure we would at least be in Top 100. Also, I improved the time to 1:29.859 and I'm still dropping in the D Class Cup (around place 280+).
I'm on iOS, and also am seeing a bunch of ridiculous times on both leaderboards. However, this hasn't affected my ability to play multi-player, even though the lobbies seem somewhat emptier than usual. I've already contacted CS (ugh). that's messy. I see p11, 16, 18 at the top of mine, and then runs similar, none of the others. and the BMW LB looks sensible (edit: the times are sensible, but most of top 40 are account seller clones). is this really because I haven't run either of the BMW cups? it's probably the only thing I've done differently to you guys. MP seems to be okay, though I've only had a quick go. usual selection of clanners / others. bit empty at times.
My solo M3 cup leaderboard looks perfectly normal - all the normal clan members in the top 100. But I'm sure that'll change the moment I run it. Stupid question, but assuming this situation doesn't change in a timely manner, can you actually collect prizes from cheaterboard positions?
I don't think those on CB get prizes. but I've not actually seen a CB in detail - do they get the same list of prizes on the main page, and the new pop up window with more detail? I suspect (hope) you're not on one...just for some unbeknownst reason some of the cheaters appear on your normal Sector 8 board. like me and Motor Away - many same names, but he has some extra that haven't been removed.
Prize list looks identical. There's no obvious difference anywhere - except when you look at the player times And 100th place is now 1:09.562, versus iOS at 1:29.232. That is leagues beyond "some" cheaters. There's no question, really. Sad part is besides for a few scattered reports, I'm not seeing this as being a mass problem. Just when I thought this game couldn't get more stressful after that horrible S-class event with the impossible goal... this happens. Makes clearing 1.6gb of space seem very attractive...
