Considering how the time hack only allows the entry of even minutes and seconds, not fractions of seconds, and the game adds a few hundreths of a second in random values... basically any time in the format of xx.0xx is now suspicious (and I'm sure the hack developer will work around that soon). But for now, in the Windows Alps cup, guess how many players have a time of 48.0xx, which is the slowest time that guarantees you the top prize? 38. How many of those times were set with a car ranked under 1710? 38. Now guess how many players have a time of 48.1xx through 48.9xx? 31. And how many of those times were set with a car ranked under 1710? 3. (And frankly, I'm inclined to place the first 2 of those, which are the lowest 48.1xx spots, as users of the same hack.) Yeah. This ain't a problem. No siree!
Sensing your frustration, but, regarding MP, what car are you in when you get rammed? We all know knockdowns are a part of the game and it can be a royal pain. As many have said, it would be better if it took much more contact to knock someone out or just do away with knockdowns for the first sector of the race. Until then, you've got to protect yourself by using a car that cannot be out-accelerated. MP isn't fun when you just get roasted all the time. I rarely go MP-ing without nitro/tuning kit. Rule No. 1: If you're in an equal car racing against someone triple-boosted, you've got to vote for a track (in the the lobby) that allows you to triple the start.

These days I barely get enough time to play an hour each day, I just did a fully boosted run on the beat the clock cup on my vmax, did a lap under 50 secs, did a couple of mp races in the dezir with the remaining booster time, took a break, and when I restarted the game, this showed up. I play with my one and only account on 2 phones, but I thought that was okay; or am I wrong? I'm totally bewildered by this, got no idea how this happened out of the blue! I have contacted the customer service in game; would really like an explanation.
Everytime there is a new ban campaign from Gameloft there is a bug in their anticheating system, that's why sometimes legit players get banned.
I was noticing the new stunt king contest and wondering how do I record races in a8? I've seen a lot of videos and always wondered how...Do I have to use twitch or is there some app that is best for this on ipad? Thanks to anyone who can help me in what is probably a dumb question...
He is obviously referring to the Aventador Multiplayer Cup. It's a pain in the ass. People doesn't just knock you out from the start, they knock you out when they can't win. As many have said, this is called "eliminating competition. In other words, it means "I am trash and can't play for shit, so I'mma ram myself up your ass and make you lose." Spoiler Yes, these players are trashed. They have proven from time to time that they were unable to beat my freaking time in the MP Cup. I have made times of 1:18:3xx without triple boosting. I know there are a lot of players better than me, but unfortunately, those titles do not belong to MP Cup players. Very rarely do any of these assholes manage to beat my time even Triple Boosted. In a fair match, I could always outrun them with technique because the majority of them don't stick to the side nor drift for nitro. Their strategy is "kill everyone else and then win". I acknowledge knocking people down is a strategy, but I also acknowledge the fact that they are trash and pathetic. These two are not mutually exclusive, so just because it is strategy, it doesn't mean that they are "skilled players". I know of ways of avoiding it when some pushes you to the war. You drift-turn and push them back. This doesn't work in MP when your car has the same rank as others. Since the stats are all equal, drift-turning would turn off your nitro and you would get wrecked immediately by the other player. There is absolutely no choice when it comes to cup like this. Either you let them through, go another route, or let them wreck you. Also, you must decide BEFORE they touch you or else once your nitro runs out, you are basically dead meat. There are so many players who think it is fun to knock people down. You know? It would be fun people start a team that tracks down these players and get revenge on MP (not the Cup events). All the players would use the same car +rank as the "criminal" and they will wreck that muthafker continuously until he quits. It's not unfair if the other person did it first. I'm so pissed because I've been playing the MP Cup and those guys are annoying as well. I either end up 1st or end up last. I try to get out of their way, but do they? "Strategy" guys. Yep, they have such a pro strategy, except that they NEVER FKING play like veterans do - stick to the sides and gain nitro for the appropriate moment. Knocking players down is the only strategy they get. The Top 50 ones are obviously people that might have enough skill to get good results on the Time-Based cups. However, everyone else below are usually trash. We need a function where they get notified of who we knocked down and who knocked us down. They piece of trashes ruins the entire game. I suggest them to play Forza, Project:Cars or whatever NON-Arcade racing out there. I would love to see the look of their face when they thought it was fair play, and then realize that people banned them for doing that. Still remember watching a video on Forza 4 about rookies ruining the entire race by ramming into others. Do that in Forza, and you get the hate from all the fans. It's acceptable in Asphalt, and people try to defend it as much as possible (especially those losers who rely on it. They only support it when they do it, but complain about it when people wreck them). That's not the case in every single racing game. Jesus Christ, this is like playing Initial D. People go Triple-Boosted (thanks to the Red Colt collection) and I have to catch up with skills. The only difference is that I will get killed the moment I catch up. Imagine the first race of Initial D being like that. "Takumi using the sewers to get past me? Better ram him so he goes out of control and drives off the cliff!" <--- the end of the story is Takumi living in the hospital for the rest of his life in a coma. Isn't that a great story. Big middle finger to all those MP players that play this. I could careless if it is strategy. Strategy is different from morals. I'm not even denying that it is a strategy. So don't try to use the "strategy" argument because that has NOTHING to do with you being MORALLY BANKRUPT. Now come race me in MP and watch me ruin your stupid race by chasing you specifically throughout the whole race. Freaking asshats piss me off so much.
Fabien, I have a new point: Friend list! I have so many followers on G+, that I cannot see most of my friends any longer in the game. I think the ingame friend list for ghost is limited to some numbe between 50-100. Can't it be enlarged? After such long time A8, I don't think I am the only one with the problem.

Well, many games have this problem: a cheap strategy that makes wins pretty easy. However, there is almost always a counter to this strategy. On Dota 2: a Hero gets a lot of buffs and gets constantly picked, learn what Heroes it doesn't play well against. On figthing games: there is a move/combo that is powerful, bait it and punish it. On Yu-Gi-Oh (it's not really a game but also serves as a good example): see a Deck getting used too often, get some cards that protects your own Deck and/or shut down the former's strategy. The list is long but you get my point, right? The knockdown is powerful, but it can be avoided (and punishable). You just need to figure how and practice the method. Until GL changes that aspect (and I doubt they will), it's the only way to deal with it. Also, funny that you mentioned Initial D, because something similar to what you said happened a bit later on in the first season (put this in spoilers in case you didn't watch it): Spoiler Remember the race with Shingo, the guy who often cheats? He did try to knock Takumi out, but that just caused the latter to go mad and overtake that cheater with sheer skill. So yeah, skill beats cheesy tactics every day.

Could you please report this to suggestions thread you mentioned before Martin, it would be great if we could delete some of the "friends" on list because they no longer play, or perhaps just expand the list (I've noticed more ghosts means more time downloading list so that might not be a good option). I think the Devs recognize this problem already. Since iOS is a more closed platform they are better able to maintain it and provide updates. Windows and Android platforms run on many devices and hacking on Windows is much easier since it is literally open to DIY, that may be why update is delayed for both as they try to find a solution.
Sure i can agree with you... but can you explain me why they don't even remove cheaters from CUPS when some TLE ends? Almost everyone lost p4 330 due to a top 40 filled with cheated times and same is happening with current cups . We are not here asking to be quick with a new and working anti cheat system , but at least remove such 00:033 timing from leaderboad...
Exactly. It's not just the lack of official response to the issue. It's the total lack of behind-the-scenes responses that is so disheartening. No blatantly fake times are being removed. The same cheating names show up cup after cup. In addition to fake times, hackers are also posting those fake times to ENDED cups and collecting the rewards that fake time gives them. Did you know that on the now-ended Apex Wednesday cup, a total of 15 people have since inserted themselves into the top 100? And no, we're not talking about false-positives being added back by Gameloft. Five of the new times are under 1/10th of a second. And did you know that if any of those 15 people now pushed off the Top 100 didn't collect their prizes yet, they are no longer eligible for Top 100? And, frankly, they'll never even know it either! Because the game will simply say they're 110th or something. The effect ripples and magnifies down the chain. My own position has slipped 58 positions since I collected my prizes. EDIT: Incidentally, are you telling me that GameLoft didn't make good on the 330 cup?
I posted about the 100 friends limit on Gameloft's official suggestions thread a while ago. As of now, there hasn't been a reply or any other kind of acknowledgment.
I also raised that problem there some months ago, when I remarked it for the first time. I think it is time to remind GL again! With increasing age of the game my A8 friend list is increasing more and more, and it gets more and more annoying not being able to make direct ghost competition. As there is no option to make internet races with couple of friends, at least the ghosts allow some direct competition.
I've trimmed some fat since, so I'm now once more well below 100 Game Center friends. But for that to have an effect, they'd have to re-scan my Game Center friends list. I can see how maintaining a limitless in-game friends list could be a technical problem for them, so re-scanning is exactly what I suggested: If you have to have a limit, at least let me remove people. As of now, more than half of the people the game could theoretically display on my Friends leaderboard (i.e., my first 100 Game Center friends) have stopped playing. But I'm not holding my breath. They have bigger fish to fry, such as the time hack on Windows, which they haven't even acknowledged yet. The 100 friends thing, on the other hand, most likely doesn't affect a lot of people.
