I can 100% agree with what you said. Also for me as veteran player it is getting harder and harder to compete. Problem is e.g. S class. In the past I was able to max a new top car immediately and make nice positions in next event. This has drastically changed with the introduction of the pro updates. It took half a year to pro my K1 to 1-1-3-3 . I simply don't have enough fiv8 to make more. Better is the 9FF, but 12k tokens is exactly the amount I have (I have spent 4k of my 16k). So half a year top positions for one slightly better car - no. Esp. as with my cards I could only make 1-1-2-2 proing, so K1 is still better. Same with Enzo, this is the TOP car I bought and cannot use it. As I needed all my v12 for F50 and P4, this car has 0-0-0-0 proing. Those engines are so hard to get. There are 19 rare and legendary cards. A champion-kit box gives 10, so one can expect one of a needed engine when buying 2 boxes. For Enzo I need 48 engines, that means I have to buy 96 boxes for 950 tokens each. This makes rounded an investment of 100.000 tokens. 15.000 tokens can be bought for 100, so I would need 650 to pro my Enzo. I have no problems to buy and pay for a game, but to make one car competitive 650. Here I am not sure if anybody from GL has calculated this ever. Due to this I am not spending any realistic amount of money (like 5-10 per month) as it would make no difference concerning my success in the game. I raised this point already in the past. It's the economic question of price-sale: High price - low sale vs. low price and high sale. A company tries to set the prices so that they achieve the highest revenue. I think that they can increase sale so strong by lowering prices that they would get higher revenue. But I don't have enough data (customers, present revenue) to prove it. Principally I think not the iap cars but the pro system is the main problem. In D class the Dezir is top, which I don't count as iap cars due to it's low price of 180 tokens. In B (F50) and C (Felino) are credit cards top. Only in A is now a really expensive iap monster the king (P4), but with P1 and Savage are credit cars on the second position. In S are also the cars not the problem as Enzo and K1 are no iap cars.
Your calculation seems reasonable. The drop rate of V12s are even less but let's go with 100K tokens and 650. Doesn't that make you wonder how so many people can run around with pro Enzo, P4, F50 all at the same time? I mean sure you can be rich, but just because you have money doesn't mean you may throw crazy amounts on a mobile game. What's more interesting is these guys are almost exclusively Asian. Nothing suspicious going on there! I'm almost certain that the token system, even though it's server-sided, is being or at l least at some point has been exploited.
Fabien, how long will ended events stay to claim the prizes?1 month,2 month? I think you work for Gameloft and know tthe exact time,so don´t hesitate to reply on this message Thank you P.S.:If anybody else knows the time, then just write a message. Thanks
As an experiment, I've held onto S-class upgrades from an Apex Wednesday for over four months. Without a malfunction of some sort, I bet they would have sat unclaimed for eternity.
Sector 8 reverse Don't you guys think that there is still some shortcut/glitch in the sector 8 reverse? I am in the ios platform and I know the fury clan is a good team but this time there are noticeably more of them in the top spots compared to other events. It's like half of the top 25 are in the fury team in this event yet in other events usually there are 1-2 of them. Also some of them have relatively low car ranks compared to other guys in the top who has (almost) fully pro cars. Which is to say if those guys can get better proed cars there would be even more of them there. So unless they have some really special driving techniques for this map, for example, the start spin, I think this phenomenon is better explained as driving with a different route rather than sudden increase of driving skills (compared to other events). Any others have the same feeling?
I have the same feeling.I just did the first curve perfect but yet I am only rank 74 or so with a max pro Zonda.I am pretty sure Fury Lewis Hamilton or one of the clan members found another glitch! The difference between my time and theirs is way too large.
I am wondering about the status of many opponent cars. There are at present many cups with not top class cars: P1, 599XX, Nismo, Zonda, Exige and so on. I can only pro them until mid-techs are needed. All my mid-techs I needed to pro the top cars - Biome, F50, P4, Savage, K1, Felino - there are no free left and I was only able to finish pro on Biome, Felino and F50. How are they able to get so many - not speaking about rare / legendary engines. I have now a sabbatical period in my job, so I am able to spent a lot of time in the game. But even then I can compete up to a certain level. In August it will end and then I will have no further chance unless I don't start to spend insane amount of money in the game. I think then I will retire. I had saved events with S class upgrades since February. First disappeard somewhen beginning of April the second exactly on first of May. I saved them for 9FF and now I decided to use them for Enzo - was long time thinking if 3.5M are worth that car which I can only use to make 5 stars in one event. But ok, as credits are no problem I did it. Those upgrades would have saved me 1.5M on level 5. Contacted cc as I remarked the loss and they told me the events shall disappear after 2 weeks! This is devinitely opposite to 2621 and my experience. Anyhow, eternity seems to be wrong. In my oppionen there is no system, it looks like luck if they disappear or not. Up to no I got no refund. Principally cc is annoying for me. In the last time I lost in total due to bugs: 30 arbitrary cards, 650 tokens, one extra tank, those 4 upgrades worth 1,5M and wasted 12 nitro starter, 8 tuning kits for nothing in mp (ad video started when mp races started - pushed out of race - loss of 10 points each time). Compensation: Zero! I never asked for something for my support I did in their forum, for collection and thinking about suggestion and for helping others in several communities, but at least I expected to get better help from their side if I have problems.
There's a lively discussion about that on Gameloft's forums. According to Dave, someone (not him — he just benefits from it) found a "shortcut".
Thanks that confirms my guess. It took me some time to find the thread though, lol. Anyways I am not a fan of Sector 8 as GL purposely choose not to make it available in the solo mode and in Season 9 you need to get some not so good car to practice it. And it still has secret shortcuts there after such a long time. Also OsO- a fury member just said he is quiting A8 forever. So if it's not a joke a random guess would be it is related to this shortcut?
I have had rather good experiences with customer care. I'm sure you already know, just be thorough and clear with what the problem is present all the evidence you have in order. They'll have it sorted out. I would recommend maybe sending up follow up emails if you didn't get a reply in 2/3 days. I had my initial email "ignored" until I sent a follow up, which they then quickly replied that things were going to be fixed when I next logged in. Good luck! That seems like an unlikely reason. Sector 8 is a very problematic map because of the invisible wall and respawn points.
It feels like Gameloft does this on purpose. Where do people find these exactly? I'm pretty sure no one spends they're time slamming into things and driving off of platforms to find them.
Might be hard to find. Here's the description on the GL site: you enter the right-side tunnel, get to about the halfway point while driving as high as you can on the side, and then try to wreck against the ceiling. If you hit the sweet spot, you will respawn further ahead on the track (around the place where you land after using the ram .
Thanks, Dave. Two things stand out to me: One, I think in the running order/standings on the screen it showed your fast time in a Zonda, but this run you're in a NISMO (???). Two, I can't believe you were trailing that Zonda after the first, big loop turn heading toward the blue. Either you got a rough start or your NISMO isn't much over 1,600. Again, thanks for sharing.
