Is Asphalt Nitro only released in specific areas? I went to the Gameloft shop and even followed a link provided by another user but it was unavailable :/
WHAT NO! Did everyone see the launch trailers for Asphalt Nitro? There was something amazing at the end! I've heard that this is an android exclusive and I hope it isn't true!
I haven't seen a fiV8 in a month almost, One:1 is stuck at 1/1/4/1 lol. I totally skipped the Enzo because I knew it was hopeless trying to distribute V12s across so many new Ferrari's. I decided to just focus on B-class as I missed out on 330 P4. Meanwhile, if you had decided to PRO Enzo, you'd have to be like Driver R. That means winning everything and also spending a lot of money (I doubt he got 44 V12s from rewards alone). When I bought the W12 originally after the MPTLE, I remember it was around 800k. Then it's price was dropped because people stopped buying it realizing they'll probably never see enough W16 engines to PRO this car before it becomes obsolete.
Well, I checked the Gameloft shop and looks like it's an Android exclusive (for now at least). But that's odd from Gameloft's part, releasing a game only for Android. Usually it's iOS who gets the exclusive stuff from big companies.
The odd thing is, I doubt anyone with a low cost Android device would be willing to shell out $5 for a game that so far looks subpar compared to its older sibling, which actually runs fine on any phone over $150. There are some very interesting elements, I feel Asphalt 8 is only focused on time runs as none of the events are ever in another game mode besides infection (which you can simply ignore with ET usage). It's not a bad thing but there could be changes that could make it more fun and interesting.
Alps and Alps Reverse are so annoying when it comes to S Class. Due to the fact that the AIs are quite fast themselves, it is quite hard to pass them without hitting their rear. Without a Pro car, I just don't have enough speed to get ahead before they start forming a stupid cluster in front of me. To top it off, all of my videos are NOT working for today and I can't refill at all.
Why Gameloft is so selfish with that Refill and Token sh*t???? I am not able to receive a single stupid Token since thursday... ⛽️
I can only hope it is only a side-effect of trying to fix the bugs of the game (server side). Then again, I can't always be a greedy bastard who ask for free stuff, oh well. I also cannot get token and refills until today. But it is different from the past. There just nothing was shown. Today I get the message that I have to wait for it, what usally is only shown for the rest of the day after I have fetched it. Do others have the same problem? Problem is not that I want to win everything. In the past my worst position when I was seriously playing an event was always something in TOP 200. I was never one but in TOP 10 (I don't take mpes or divions into account). But now it is getting more and more a problem. I was only 1577! in hotshot A as I have only 1642 P1 - around me were players with 1670-1690 cars - so not so bad run. Although it was not perfect or very good, as I did not try to improve because there was theoretically no chance to get into TOP 500. Rewards for such event are too bad to invest into the P1. I am often shocked how many are able to pro cars. The game makes it more and more harder to compete as good player. Now I am even pushed out of TOP 500.
I haven't got a single token/ free refill video for the last 3 months already, as a matter of facts from the moment i've started buying tokens for champion boxes/ token cars. From that day everything turned upside down, even made ticket to GL but haven't received an answer so far. My daughter who's been playing A8 from february gets every single day 2 tokens video and free refill...didn't pay for anything on her account. The irony, right? (We're both using android kit kat on our devices, smartphone and tablet)... Should anyone explain me this, give me your best shot.
Yes, I get the same problem. Used to be 2 videos for free tokens + 1 video for free refill a day. Since Thursday it has been grayed out (Come back later). Yea, you definitely did a good run if you find yourself ranked amongst higher ranking cars. It's really dependent on cars you choose to PRO. Since I missed out on 330 P4, I had enough cards to PRO P1. So it's a tradeoff because on cups requiring 330 P4 to win, I can't compete. I remember last time for the Super Cup, it was absolutely mandatory to have a 330 P4 to even be top 100. My 1701 Rivale time was ranked around 120 because in top 100 there was nothing but 330 P4s. It has worked for me in the past, maybe you can try clearing cache and downloading your progress from cloud again to see if it helps. It worked for me once before when I stopped getting videos for a week. But recently, this method hasn't helped the problem with "Come back again" message.
Are you sure that by clearing the app's cache it won't affect my progress? I know everything is now or should be saved on cloud but still it's a risk needed to take into consideration...
If Gameloft decided not offer that Token for free, at least remove that COME BACK LATER and clean the interface. By the way: 2 Tokens per day sounds disrespectful and probably its Fabien's idea...
If you have another device, you can simply log on to check the progress the cloud has saved. If not, then your best bet is to just wait it out and see if they will fix it. Agreed. Though I'd say 5~10 tokens a day is probably a better amount that does not hurt their bottom line while still giving players incentive.
For GL tokens are the ultimate incentive for pro players. If they distribute them too easy the effect will decrease. So everyone can be happy to get at least 2 per day. I am also not happy with that and think 2 is like nothing, but I can understand their position.
So you think 5 tokens/day is too much? Even if you got it daily for a whole year, you'd only have 1825 tokens. That's only enough to buy one token car (besides the Dezir which is cheap and affordable for everyone). I'm sure you have already gotten 10K tokens since they were introduced. This hasn't even been half a year yet. Do you think another 900 tokens would significantly decrease your motivation to play?

No, I also think that 1 token for video is ridiculous less. I wouldn't start A8 just to let 2 videos rum for two tokens. If I can decide I would also make 5 tokens for video, but I cannot. But I earned nearly 16000 tokens until the system has started, so you are right, those additional 180 are not really interesting for me. But I am not the one who is adressed by the video. If I take my daughters accounts, they have so slow cars that they are not able to get even place 10.000 in many events. They have no S class car, in A only B2 and SLS and in B Survolt and Maserati. Only with the Dezir and Mustang in D and Exige in C they can make some better places against the AI cars (to get those prices for being first), but without boosters and max/pro upgrades they are not able to make any interesting positions on leaderboard. Thus, they get 10-20 tokens per week from events. For them those 2 tokens are a lot. With my post I only wanted to tell what I heard to be GL's position concerning tokens. Due to this, the video reward must be low. So, !from GL's point of view! I can understand it - not as player, esp. veteran player, as then it is like nothing.
