Not trying to start a flame war or debate with you as I agree with some of your points, but maybe you should read up more on those subjects or attend post-secondary first before making that ignorant claim. Eric was simply commenting on the unlikelihood of a player putting the pre-fix "Elite" in their name without knowing the significance that it entails in the Asphalt 8 community. Most players on Android recognize Rpm, Elite, ReV as decent if not great players who have been admitted into clans for their skills. Citing your claim that you didn't know about clans until recently, this is in fact your own ignorance. For non-clan players to take that name for their own without the proper acceptance by the group is like undermining the effort and time that the clan players invested to reach that status. By your logic of reverse psychology, how would you feel if your peers simply cheated through an interview by claiming to be something they aren't?
I've played for over a year without havocs until I got a new phone. But what my advice would be to people without Havocs is to drift a little more. Grab all nos you can grab. Trust me, I've had quite some success in the past without Havocs.
Count me among the ignorant then. I remember when Asphalt clans first showed up on iOS. I noticed that some people had the same name prefixes, and I assumed that they wanted to associate somehow. What I didn't realize at all was that those groups are exclusive. I figured that if I liked the Open guys (I didn't, because judging from multiplayer races, they seemed like cheaters) or the Summer guys (I didn't either, because same reason), I could just express my feelings by changing my name accordingly. I only learned about things like tests and invitations later, when I chanced upon a discussion about those on the Google group. Assuming that everyone knows about clans and their rules is assuming that everyone is part of communities that discuss those things. But I doubt that's true. I, for one, played Asphalt 6 and 7 a lot, but I only joined an Asphalt community a couple of weeks after I started playing Asphalt 8, and I only did it because I wanted to try ghost races. Hadn't I been interested in those, I'd probably have stayed ignorant to this day.
Legitimate point there. Though I would still argue that if one willingly signed up for the community and posts actively, it is very unlikely that one does not recognize the existence of clans.
If you want to use a clans name then do as you please, personally I have used Open, summer and sky in my name, but never in a remotely respectful or wannabe way, lol.
I feel like your point goes more into the experience you have at playing online games "hardcore" enough that teams and clans start evolving. Personally when I first saw the Elite prefix I immediately assumed it was some weird team name and just left it there. Of course I was a bit active on TouchArcade back then so you can say it isn't the best comparison. Yes, this was my point, I believe that if he was in the group, he would have had a very high chance of knowing the existence of clans. Yeaaa.... you were uhhhh a special case Well in any case, the issue has been resolved as Keem has changed his name and has said that he knew about the existence of clans. Also Elite Uchiha has apologized for his actions.

What about an asphalt crew update. Where every crew as a certain number of player, and has requirement. Like that people can't copy your clan. And if a player put elit in there name even if they knew what it met to the asphalt community, you don't have the right to confront them aggressively. Ea- Ubisoft- rockstar-bulky pix- and others are trade marks, the jets, and other teams went over some paper work that give them ownership of the name. I don't think you ELITE (with all due respect ) should be imposing this kind of pressure on players. If I am in a game clan, and I find out people are trying to get to it, and putting the name on there t shirt- as long as I am not loosing money over it, I would be happy.
Glad that got sorted out. I understand that only people from the clan should use its name, but treating the misdoer a noob or using a comment as harsh as this one goes overboard. People should try to solve things in a civilized way, even though they might be irritated. However, I do feel that samhiuy's answer shows a bit of overreaction. Replying without any insight on what is going on often leads to Elite Uchiha's kind of response (not that I blame you for not knowing anything, but you should have asked for more information before replying IMHO). Definitely agree with this point. I don't belong to any clans, just saying everyone should give some attention to what they are doing out of consideration for others. That's a community, watching and helping each other out.
Hi Fabien I have problems with my cloud synchronisation.I can´t save my current data since the last update.Everytime I open the game I have to choose between my cloud data and my local data and because of the bigger progress I select local data. Could you please fix it or make an In-App-Button where you can save your latest progress and overwrite the older one?This would be very helpful! Good to hear it had been solved. Anyhow, I find it strange that he needed to excuse. Sure clans have some names but there is neiter a registered trademark "Elite" owned by the Elite Clan or by any other clan nor own the clans principally the names. It is also not supported by GL so that some names are blocked. Thus, everyone is free to use any name in the internet for his game account. Especially Elite is a word with a special meaning in its language, so if someone wants to tell he is elite, why not. The clan founder is principally doing the same. To be aggressive against people doing so is simply a mutiliation of freedom generations of people have fighted for - shame on those clan guys doing this.
Yeah, it is definitely nice that it has sorted out. I'll take a moment and apologize for overreacting as I'm quite sensitive to the mistreatment of others. I just hope that - whether people agree with the idea that people should hold exclusive rights to a name or not - people can find peace in regards to the subject. I was angry at the actions taken against against the community member, and Eric is not/should not be antagonized. Anyway, how's the 330 P4 Cup for you guys? I'm trying - a little - and I only managed 1:11:643. I would need to reduce 0.8 seconds to get in Top 30, but it is quite difficult. I believe the times will be more closer to 1:10:5xx by the end of the event due to the high demand for Token cars. I also tried for the Monaco one, but this one is real hard. I could barely make 1:57:469 double tanked, but I have seen a person with similar time single tanked. Can't get the 240 tokens, but that is alright. Also, it seems like Windows got an event with an artwork featuring the F50. I guess the update is coming soon for Windows users
Samhiuy, no need to discuss, anyhow thanks. It was only important for me to add one of the major aspect of the democracy - freedom, everybody should take care about. I have made only one run 1:58.4 with Scion (place 150, my aim is Top 350 with that run) and none in P4 cup. In the latter I have no chance due to the lag on my device, even in mpe's I loose many points because of the freezes, but if a tenth of a secend is relevant, then it cannot be recovered in race. So I am forced to concentrate myself with all my fuel on P4 mpe. Horrible, after 22 min the first had already over 3500 points.

Regarding the debate over the 2 russian gamers that got the F50 before everyone else, they're not cheaters, but they did some work for GL (dev ? art ? translation ? ...) and were awarded the cars before the event finished.
