Well she seems to have fairly good skills (even though her opponents in the vid don't seem to use boosters).
Owning a 9FF is not a proof of cheating, and besides most of her cars aren't fully maxed or proed (which is kinda weird for someone who's supposed to be cheating).
Maybe she just bought a lot of tokens with real $$$, and spent them on cars.
This vid doesn't really prove anything.

Hey Mylene, I'm going to assume that's you. Just a few days ago, you had approximately 76 cars in your garage (as has been the case for several months). Now you suddenly have 90, and almost all of these new cars are the token-only ones. You only care about racking up points using your magic 1139 DeZir, so the odds that you spent hundreds of dollars on tokens in order to buy all these cars are extremely slim.

If there were "fairly good skills" on display, that's likely because Zed was pretending to be you at the time of the stream. Mylene hands over her account to him when there are tournaments, so that he can make her look skilled on leaderboards. A lot of Sky players apparently do that, so she's not even the first to do so. Maybe she's just following protocol.

Motor, any chance she's got two accounts? Maybe one of them is a replica of others. Just check if she ever uses token cars (other than Dezir) in MP. Because using token cars other than the one you actually purchased will inevitably lead you to CB, and she probably knows it and won't use in MP.

Another question for you, did u buy fuel in F40 MP or just play whenever it fills up? Just wondering if I should focus on MP only for 330P4 next week.

Yes, she has two accounts. Sky gave her a second one a few weeks ago. But now she has transferred all of the credits (approximately 16 million) and the cars (all the token cars, plus the One: 1) to her main one.

When she browsed the garage and I noticed she had the 9FF, she had just finished playing a multi-player race using her main/real account. That's why I've reported her: because her main account is the one with 90 cars. I don't care if her fake/second account is filled with credits and token-cars (I saw it, and that is indeed the case), but I do care if she has all that stuff on her real account.

As for the F40 MP cup, no, I did not buy any fuel. I have yet to spend a single token on refilling my fuel bar. As the F40 is just a mid-level B-class car, it was much, much easier to win than the 330P4 will be (in fact, I only started playing this MP cup on day 2, and easily reached the top 50 within 36 hours). I don't intend to compete for that one, as many more players will be interested in winning it and will be buying tokens in order to refill. I refuse to spend tokens that way.

Well, in that case, I doubt if GL would do anything to her (although I really do hope they can ban these people). Cloning accounts has been around for almost a year, and the best GL can do is to come up with token and token cars which are not quite transferable (well, technically they still are, but good luck on using an illegal token car). There is probably some policy and profit considerations from GL's end preventing them doing something more severe against cloning accounts, which is disappointing but understandable.

Speaking of which, Fabien, why don't they store infos of (new) credit cars on GL's server as well? I can almost see that every cheater will have an Enzo once it releases.

Yes, that's how people sell accounts.

330P4 will be a bloody event same as Tramontana. Without any fuel, enough sleep and without using extra tanks , except wasting those from the other events and good positions in each other events, I am even around Top 10 (9 was the best today) in F40 cup. And most of those in front of me spend tokens, I know from the amount of races they are able to make in a certain time. Why for that car, I don't know, maybe they have a fuel hack. As I won all mpe cars except Enzo, K1 and 9FF I can assume being rather good in mp, but in Tramontana cup I was also not able to win the car without refills. There will be a lot of guys spending plenty of tokens in that cup. In principle still the better drivers will win, as they need to buy less refills. I only fear those insane token refillers which do not calculate if the amount of refills are more tokens than the car is worth (esp. those bad drivers, which loose many races and buy the car more or less) and those who can play all the time with tripple booster (also 50 tokens/h). So there can be the crazy situation that people will invest more tokens than the car is worth. Anyhow, in Tramontana I was able to stay on a place valid for the car until the very end with only 1 or 2 refills, so it was rather easy to calculate if it is worth to refill in the last hours or not. For me it was ok, I invested 325 or 390 in refills plus some extra tanks, so ok. On the Nevada track you should be able to drive with an A car without running out of nitro without extra tank, so there will be only fuel costs.

Question for the more knowledgeable than me re: A8 (probably most everyone here...)

I've been saving up to buy a K1:1, but it sounds like the Enzo may be the better buy. Assuming I'm only going to buy one of the two, which one is recommended?

IMO Asphalt died at 6, 7 is when all the IAP invasion started, and Asphalt 8's soul's corpse was dragged out right out from the code by GL.

I feel like this is a last stand to. Protect the future of Asphalt but it seems it's too late and GL doesn't care have the time. They as a BUSINESS are surely making money.

:( I'll always remember driving the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 SV in the ol' Aspen track in 2009 when tablets first started to be relevant. I remember the game promised that the future of mobile racing games was sure to be amazing. Every race was a new experience.
Now it's about scores, or getting a better time than the other person. Seems like it's not even focused on racing anymore.

    RIP

Interesting. I greatly prefer running single tank, so sounds like the K1 is the better pick for me.

    Better nitro duration?

Yea, enzo nitro is absolutely horrible
Even with double tank the only tracks it's good on is
    Sector 8
    French Guiana
other courses with an extreme amount of nitro bottles
(and westminster bridge is bad because you must take the 3rd ramp)

16 of the top 25 Easter Cup spots taken by fully PROed 9FFs and K1s All Asian players.

9 spots for legit players to fight over Tier TWO prizes. Its ridiculous. Increase the winners bracket numbers so legit players can get something if you're not going to do anything about the cheaters, GL.

Not a single non Asian player has a fully PROed 9FF or K1.

Nope. Nothing fishy about that at all.

Well, think of it this way, they are simply "rewarding" the whales and the cheaters "extra". Everyone else is getting the normal prizes. Top 300 is actually quite generous, that's what I'm aiming for...

Lol, no I'm not her , and I don't know her either.
And I'm playing on Windows not on iOs.
I only commented what I saw on the vid, and from what I saw there's simply not enough proof to back your assumptions. You can't go around and accuse someone of cheating just because he or she has a 9FF (and btw I don't have it)

Maybe I'm wrong but in the Talent vs Speed cup on Windows, it looks like the top 10 leaderboard is more balanced (maybe GL is kicking the cheaters out after all).
So they'll probably clean the other cups leaderboard too.

Hear hear! The DeLorean DMC 12 (car from Back to the future series) would be dynamite, also Jaguar E-Type, Mercedes SLR McLaren or Ford GT90 (concept car from the 90s) just to mention a few. The list goes on and on...

PS: Fabien, could you persuade the execs at GL to license Porsche cars? There's a near-bottomless well of great cars there, and they're also a major part of automotive history.

As much as I would like Porsche cars as well, there really isn't much chance for it to be included in Asphalt 8. Gameloft can try...if they want. If EA does not see Gameloft as a competitor, then they might be more willing to let Gameloft include Porsche cars in the game...but not without some large amount of money. Given that there are Need For Speed racing games on the mobile phone market as well, we don't know how much does EA values their place in the market. They are douchebags and no one likes them. It's worth a try right? Who knows.

Been waiting for Porsche contract with EA to end forever. Doesn't anyone know the expiration date? Or is EA going to keep renewing it? I think we need some billionaires to keep suing EA for their atrocities over the years until it goes it bankrupt.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane! You just prompted me to fire up my copy of Asphalt 6 and take the Tesla Roadster (a.k.a. Asphalt 6's DeZir in terms of nitro craziness) on a spin in Chamonix (a.k.a. French Aspen).

And speaking of old Asphalt versions...

Asphalt 6 had the SLR Sterling Moss. Asphalt 7 had the DeLorean. And that wasn't the only classic car in Asphalt 7 — the Shelby GT500, the Shelby Cobra 427 S/C, and the Ferrari 288 GTO were also available. The Ferrari was actually my favorite car in the game. :)
