To be in the top 300 should be rewarded. Especially when you you consider that 300,000 people play these TLEs.
Was it you made a slow run on your sons account in the K1 cup and found something like 750k and counting by the end? I think I remember someone here talking about it when it was on.

Sigh I had a really fine run in Iceland with the Biome, even executed the flat spin inside the cave perfectly without touching the walls, and somehow managed to jump down and wreck against the walls. Could have definitely made it for top 50. There goes 2 S class top speed upgrades worth at least 1million credits Argh

Tell ya what, the jump down in the cave, don't go too far right There was a time I could do that really well (with the camera change and everything) but then I started wrecking there every single time. I think now I'm too afraid to go tight but yea, don't take that drop to close to the right Also, like future advice If you're having trouble doing the first ice bump thingy without flipping over, the middle point on that bump is a bit more left than the cave's left wall. So go a bit more left when taking it. I basically don't wreck there now (just like the cave thing, I used to be able to do it just fine, then I started wrecking there every time, and now I can do it 75% no problems now)
If it helps, a time of 1.14:057 is currently at position 1921 on iOS. (My unboosted time was worse than yours, but since I already burned an extra tank for the APEX Wed Cup, I decided to use it for this one as well.)
Can you please tell me how to win a limited event. The events require four fuel bars and the objective is to finish first. The time is not recorded but only the points. I won the race but I got only 600 points, while the other players behind me was getting 3000 - 6000 points. How are they getting points?
Thanks man, that second point is also helpful. I had a few good runs ruined by that as well. I will practice with those tips You are probably referring to the Multiplayer event. Those points are accumulated after each race. What you are seeing is the total points a player has accumulated over the number of races they've done. Since you are starting out, you will see less points. Keep racing to build up your points, but note that you will get more points in a race with more players and the points you get will progressively decrease as your total number of points increase.
Hi there. I am new here and following the discussions. I am also a player who has not time enough to have every car maxed and proed, so sometimes I am a little bit depressed, when I read the times reached here. But with events, where the car is the same for all (like the Enzo Cup) it is easier to reach at least some rewards - and when I read hints and answers like yours ("1:15 is a good time to aim for"), than this is really helpful. The problem is: to be better than means to use maybe all three boosts - and that means I have three rides - not more, because I do not have so many boosts and the tank will be empty. But is is fund to drive and to read the hints here. Thank you.

It might actually be possible to get the 100 tokens without using an extra tank — if you manage to do a series of two or three perfect side knockdowns and get one of the golden nitro tanks (left or right) at the beginning. I'm #914 (1:13:326) on iOS right now with two boosters, and my start into the race was far from perfect. That makes me think that 1:12:xxx can probably be done with two boosters. And if you manage to get below 1:13, you're probably safe in terms of staying in the top 1000. Your mileage may vary, however, regarding your willingness to farm for tuning kits and nitro starters while waiting for your fuel bar to refill, because those stupid knockdown animations turn trying to achieve a perfect start into a lottery, especially on the single tank route. If you ask me, those apex events that let you race five times per fuel bar/booster set are a better opportunity for experimenting with boosted racing.
Yes RunningBird - I fully agree. I try to farm as much as I can. Which boosters did you use? Tuning Kit and Nitro or Nitro with DoubleTank? What do you think is more efficient?
Yeah, that stupid animation kept ruining the run for me. The best I could get is 1:12:709 because my Extra Tank ran out before I can try anymore. I tried so hard to get 1:13 double boosted, but it was quite difficult. I kept failing mainly because I couldn't do the final turn right. There is another event on Saturday that includes Tokens, but for the Top 300. Best car available is the Chevrolet Camaro GS, but I'm not even sure if it is possible to reach Top 300 with it MAX+PRO+Double Boosted on the Tokyo track. All those ET users are making it really difficult nowadays.
Tuning kit and nitro, i.e., the non-stupid boosts. I don't know. It probably depends on the track and the car. But it's not a fair comparison anyway. A tuning kit is much easier to acquire than an extra tank, after all, so I haven't ever even thought about the possibility of using an extra tank without a tuning kit.
So now people are deliberately getting into the cheater board to win award more easily. The MPTLE in cheater board is totally different from the real leaderboard, accumulating points there is actually much much easier as cheaters don't bother playing day and night. So strategically you can choose to enter cheater board, say during the week of Enzo cup to win that car with little effort. In the current system, you'll be out in a 7 days anyway, so not too much loss. Fabien, it is probably a good idea to fix this.
Good old times. I my oppinion everything below TOP 50 encourages cheaters to do so. By the way I found one suspicious guy on Android (I know some are here from Android): "hefturush frink". In F50 cup he raced me one day in each race I was in. Unlimited fuel? Today he overtook me in Enzo MPE while I was at full nitro speed 395km/h like nothing (not at the start, then it might be tripple nitro and I wasn't already at full speed, it was in the stone tunnel where the dragon is.) As we all have the same car it can't be possible. Anyhow, I don't want to blame people just on my observation. Maybe someone else here had remarked suspicious behaviour from that guy. He is at present also place 24 in Enzo mpe.
I've heard a lot about this lately, there's an anti-ban hack they can use to get themselves off the CB without contacting GL apparently. This is one of the things open team sell and reportedly make a lot of money on.
