Enzo as top S-class above k1 and Venom? This game was never based on real life was it? It's pure sci-fi now. Any info on how much it will be? Credits or tokens?
No, I just finished 69th I agree, but, if I won Enzo, I think I will keep using and upgrading my VMAX, because I have spent a lot of time (Almost 4 months) and resources (credits and cards) to get its current rank, which is 1710 (2,0,3,1) I have read 3.5M credits By the way, I did a really good lap in season 9 with my unboosted 1582 Biome: https://youtu.be/jILdUngZcuI And I uploaded my Enzo's time, which can be improved https://youtu.be/p-Hl8w8trf4
I'm kinda happy that the Enzo will be the new S king, as it saves me having to stress about whether or not to try to gather 12000 tokens through cups and purchases. The 9FF is now in the same position as the aero was before, ridiculously overpriced IAP beaten by a credit car (3.5m to buy, 3.1-3.2m to max I think). Having said that my S project will remain the K1 as I have already invested quite a lot of cards in it to reach 1717 and it will take a lot of time for Enzo to catch up. I've got 11 or 12 V12 engines but the F50 will be first priority for a share of these as it will be the most immediately competitive of the new cars. If I can get my hands on the 330P4 it will be next, so the 48 engines needed for Enzo will make it another expensive dust collector for months to come. This pic has been floating around for a while now but I don't think I've seen it here, I'm pretty sure from left to right the columns are max (top speed, nitro, combined), max pro (same), weight of the car, and the 14 at the end is the nitro duration, with 15 being the worst (as shown by the FXX below Enzo). The only thing I can't remenber is if the + sign indicates tuning kit, I've seen other similar pics in the past with TK but they are always accompanied with another chinese character after the +.
Not to mention the price required to max+pro the damn thing. Don't know anything about that, but I know that's gonna leave a mark on our e-wallets. I'm sticking to the Enzo, for obvious reasons (if you don't know, I don't have the VMAX) Anyway, thanks for the vid Hector. I just participated on the event, thinking I would get at least some stuff, and what do you know: I managed to reach the top 100. I guess I haven't rusted a bit I might be able to win this one with a bit of time. Oh sir, you'll be so disappointed if the Enzo becomes purchasable only through tokens. Oh well, we'll wait and see.
Oh and another thing, so much for the assertion on here a long time back from Fabien that top 20 was being changed for these car cups. Top 20 worldwide on iOS is insane (I can't speak for other platforms as I don't compete there) and I don't buy the argument that it's 'competitive'. Yes if GL could do anything about the rampant cheating then maybe the competitive argument might hold some sway, but the last few updates demonstrate that they can't control it. Fabien we appreciate that you throw a few crumbs of info our way from time to time, but please don't treat us like idiots, if you are serious about wanting proper feedback on things to improve the game you need to hammer home to your team that the number one priority needs to be your reward structure because your anti cheat measures are doing nothing to help the rest of us progress. Telling us what we want to hear only works until you get found out, we'd all love to see some real actions to back up these words.
These hackers who release the car prices are rarely wrong, I can't remember any being so since the winter update. But anyway if I reach 1768 in the K1 anytime this year I'll be happy enough without Enzo or 9FF
Hi guys I have a questions regarding multiplayer. Are there rank categories that lead you in the pool with other players or how exactly does it work? For example cars with ranks from 1250-1350,1351-1450,etc come into the same pool. I used to drive with my citroen survolt when it wasn´t max pro and I came into a pool with rather bad players and I had the highest rank of all players. It was something like 1336 or so.But since this car is on max pro level(1386) I always come into a pool with player who have 1400+ rank cars! I hope someone knows what I mean and can put the figures here.I would appreciate Thanks
Good luck Lord, I think this cup will be the tighest one ever... I think I will be happy if I can get a pro config like 5,3,5,3 in my VMAX hehe
I don't think so. The Chrysler cup was the tightest of them all. Only 10 winners IIRC, and you weren't one of them. But thanks. Good luck to you too (but you don't need that, do you )
Hehehe, now I finally found someone to talk to! Please note that the following paragraphs are not meant to provoke nor invoke an argument. I just get too excited when it comes to debates and discover the intersection between two different views. Let me say that your perspective is not wrong. A personal opinion cannot be judged too lightly and categorized into two extremes. You decide your own perspective and I will not interfere with that. However, I am going to share my view on this matter and discuss with you the differing views I have. Ill start with this paragraph. Yes, Hong Kong similar to Macau is a global financial hub that is geared towards siphoning the money out of tourists. Most of the businesses here belong to the tertiary sector meaning that it is mostly retail business. As I do not live in Hong Kong, my understanding it limited and I can only compare it to Macau, the place I live in. From what I have seen throughout my visits to HK, I have found that there are lots of clothing shops, markets, electronic shops and so on. Due to it being a large city, the retail shops are actually separated into different sectors of HK. One street would only sell shoes and another street would sell mainly electronics. Macau is different in that it is not large enough to house such organized competition within different sections of it. It is more diverse here, but the amounts of shops are lower in comparison to HK. While HK operates as a shopping center, Macau operates as a gambling center. Both are focused on earning profit from attracting tourists and catering towards them more than the locals. I perfectly understand, but I didnt mention it in my previous post because it wasnt supposed to be an argument it was merely a description of my perspective. However, regarding the enjoyment of the benefits by being a financial hub, that is actually much more complex than it seems. Look towards the HK incident and youll realize why. It is precisely because the younger generation does not enjoy it at all. They did not choose to develop HK that way, and it was part of Chinas plan to turn both HK and Macau into financial hubs to keep them alive. That is why they are breaking free and trying to change the domestic policy by having it cater towards the locals rather than foreigners. Do you believe that these kids, who never asked for the benefits nor enjoyed it, dont have the right to complain what they were not part of? The polarization of the views regarding the HK incident is due to the generation gap and the societal structure. We need to go VERY deep to fully understand the whole situation. Furthermore, your view is actually in line with what the Mainland Chinese said: We are the ones giving you our money, what right do you have to complain about that? So why exactly would people antagonize the Mainland Chinese so much? This has its roots in history, but lets just look at the surface. The psychology part of this is really important and to understand it in the simplest terms, let me give an example: Lets switch this perspective and apply it onto you. You do not agree with Gamelofts policies and how they treat their gamers. Therefore, you went to complain to Fabien and discussed with him the problems of the game. Fabien shuts you down by saying, We are the ones working hard to make this game for you, and you dont even need to spend a cent to buy everything in this game. Why do you think you have to right to constantly nag me and bother me all the time?! Obviously, your response would be just like above the We are the ones supporting this game to keep it alive. However, lets just COMPLETELY change your view and disregard that. In the condition you are NOT allowed to say this, how would you respond to Fabien? How would you respond to this specific tone and choice of words when you have absolutely NO bargaining power? Wouldnt you feel frustrated and irritated? Yes, they are indeed the ones who actually TRIED and made the game better. For all they care, Fabien could be doing nothing now and ignoring you. A lot of community managers dont give a crap and would be gone for MONTHS before they even bother replying to one person. However, despite knowing this, why do people still complain? What exactly pushed them to do such a thing? In the current situation regarding Asphalt 8, the complaints are driven by the feeling of being unheard and feeling that they are treated unfairly. We can apply that to context of the given example. In this case, you would feel unfair too right? You dont get to voice your frustration, leading to feeling unfairness and being left out. You are oppressed by the view/s of another person/community, and this causes an emergence of hate and contempt towards the other person. The more a person is constantly told they are in the wrong, the more they are likely to respond negatively to you. P.S. I am only 17, so I cant really choose where to live nor do I had any power to change the current society here. Also, competition here is based on traditional values. From what I have said, did you actually manage to guess my age correctly? What kind of impression do you have about me right now? Let me tell you that Im rejected by my society because I did not conform nor do I manage to show promising standardized results to the society. My skills are not highly valued, but those that listen to authority and do things the right way are. Im treated like a loser who has absolutely no chance of competing with others because I focus on understanding and analyzing problems/people rather than doing as I say. I dont even want to delve into the topic of the role of authority in society, so lets keep that somewhere else. For this one, I got a good quote for you from Franklin D. Roosevelt President of the USA. Competition has shown to be useful up to a certain point and no further, but cooperation, which is the thing we must strive for today, begins where competition leaves off. Obviously, this was said in a different context and could not be applied to every situation. I wanted to show you this in order to showcase the fact people can think in absolutely different ways than you though. This is both problematic and fascinating, a subject that I would love to study further had I not been confined to this stupid education system To be continued Jeez, I got too excited. Please remember that I am not saying this with the implication of starting a war or something. Also, the example I used isn't necessarily true - the one regarding Fabien - so please don't take it to heart. As much as I feel frustrated with this game, blaming it on Fabien or Gameloft doesn't help at all. Sure there can be a few bastards working in Gameloft, but that doesn't mean everyone is like that. Look at Zynga. Everyone hates Zynga. However, we don't even know if the employees were bad given that it was the director that made the poor marketing decisions and even chose to threaten his own workers. We don't have that in Gameloft (or do we? ). The development team has been working hard to meet our expectations and Fabien + others of the community team are working hard to deal with us. Honestly, it is very difficult to deal with hate messages everyday. Tone and lexis plays an important role in how a sentence is interpreted. P.S.2 I'm saying this to clarify my view on the Gameloft situation as well. Seriously, the official forum for Asphalt 8 is filled with hatred and complaints. Beerbon hates Zeremoniar lol. I do hope you don't take those insults too hard though. I'm not sure if I would even continue responding to the whole post. I mean, I'm going to turn this thread into my personal blog or something and that isn't nice . I wish there are more people I can speak to. I have to constantly deal with hatred here. People are too high strung and traditional that they find it offensive for others to have a differing view.
The engine in the Enzo is the derivative of all the Ferrari V12s in the past decade. The FXX is a track car built to one specification, theoretically you could build an Enzo beyond the FXX but street legal. A lot of people are kicking themselves for getting a K1 and some are for getting a 9FF, but I'd much rather drive the Enzo than the Porsche or Koenig. You could say I'm bored of Koenig since the CC8S. The Enzo is also a lot better looking than LaFerrari. Porsche hasn't changed since they've started... BTW, rubber has changed a lot, even pilot sport 2's are ready to get trounced, but if you give an Enzo more grip and a tune, that much larger of a chassis could handle 1000+ HP beyond any car but perhaps a Tuatara or Venom. More power demands a bigger chassis http://fancytuning.com/2009/12/gemballa-ferrari-enzo-mig-u1/
I just don't understand where all these so called "cheating" of maxed out car came from. From what I can tell, all token and card transactions - buying and upgrading - requires Gamerlot server authentication. How can anyone cheat through there without getting quickly detected and perm-banned? If the player payed for them, well that is how these games work.
The current situation has definitely exacerbated the 'buyers remorse' that new cars cause. Ultimately, people are looking at the 'now' (car stats) rather than how many events they were competitive in before. Had they saved the cards instead of investing in their K1s or 9FFs, would they have been competitive? Probably not. This is precisely the reason I've chosen to spend tokens on the Big Card Box rather than save for the 9FF -- I knew that it would be *very likely* that a new car would come out that would top the 9FF before I could purchase and make it competitive. Not a decision I regret. I've bought 6 big boxes (5700 tokens) which has allowed me to be semi-competitive (2nd or 3rd winning tier) in every event. Had I saved those tokens for the 9FF, I'd have placed much worse, and been staring down the barrel of a new boat anchor to park next to my W12.
My only regret is getting drunk a few times and buying 65 token refills I've bought some 200 token packages...I guess I did need some cards. My only competitive car is A P1 or Tuatara... It will relapse and Felino will go, Biome will go, etc. but I think I can take 2 days off and 200 tokens to gen an Enzo 1700 Bare minimum keep 200 tokens and everyone will be fine...
Always a bit of luck is necessary For example, yesterday I couldn't improve my time in Global Mobile cup, but fortunately I finished 49º
I only have one TLE on Windows -- Trophy Cup at Buddhas Teachings. Yay for Windows. OTOH I don't have any of the ads, for better and worse.
So is the Enzo sorta like a better Venom, with high top speed and sharp handling but bad nitro duration? 3.5 million to buy is terrifying. I can't decide on what to farm for these days, I'm so behind when it comes to cars. Also, the F50. Could this be the biome slayer we have been waiting for? I'd rather have a classic Ferrari than an ugly land saucer, but I already have the land saucer. Thankfully I have 1000 tokens to blow on... What should I blow it on?
