Has anyone bought the lunar card box (the one which costs 2,185 tokens)? Is it a better investment vs. buying 2 champion kits? I'm torn between wanting to save tokens for cars (particularly the 9ff) and getting a box which may (or may not) yield the cards that I need.
Fabian if you are reading ,the reward structure is crazy, top 50 driver should be aiming for something that they need, top 250 drivers should have an incentive to keep trying, top 1000 drivers should me encouraged to invest in an extra tank to win more, top 5000 drivers should be in with a chance of a decent amount of credits. At the moment drivers of all abilities are putting in a few runs and if they are near the cut off scores they wil keep going but all the others are sitting back thinking what's the point, I'll just take the rewards that are safe/ possible. Also the longest win streak in MP should give away tokens, at the moment there is no real incentive to play or use tanks for mp and a lot don't bother.
But you still loose the fuel and the credits you made. So drawback vs. advantage. Concerning leaderboard you are also not achieving a better time. The gas thing in comparision gives a huge advantage esp. in mpe's. Just guess someone makes multiple bluestack instances. He has nearly unlimited fuel They should change extra tank from tokens to credits.
@Fabien. Are you still here? I've looked around and the game runs completely fine on much slower hardware in medium settings which I can't even select. It's not just city havoc but i don't see any traffic either. No havocs/traffic must be a model specific nasty bug. The "high" filter bug that everyone got now on low settings, that's universal. (or it may have been intentional which is a really bad move) Is there any file I can edit or anything else I can do to force the game run on medium settings or at least make the havocs to show up on low? I know you are not a support guy but would you pass along the message please because right now it's very annoying.
Ah man, I just played this for the first time on a brand new iPad Air 2 and it is amazing! Much better than my old IPad 3 lol
I can almost promise you, it will not be worth it. After spending 2000+ tokens, you'll almost certainly will end up crying about the 65 useless cards you got Hear HEar. My wife rarly bothers to play, and thats because A8 is almost impossible to get into without some starting investment. Very Poor GL
@Fabien Isnt it time for a token sale soon? As the new currency, you'd prob get a great deal of transactions
I think champion boxes are better, because you win at least 20 rare/legendary cards just using 1900 tokens...
Gameloft's official streamer bought and opened a Lunar box this afternoon, and he got 1 legendary V8 and 1 mid-tech. The other 76 cards were garbage.
Definitely agree with these points. The tier structure cutoffs at the present is ridiculous for the rewards given. There should be more tiers that have less separation (50/250/1000/5000) ratio if x5/x4/x5 in between each tier. While it would be nice to earn tokens for MP win streaks, I feel it may be simply abused. You are right on the point that there doesn't exist much of an incentive for MP at the moment given the prizes and ability to farm in Season 9. What they could do is allow you to win at maximum 1 9000 Credit box daily to give some incentive for MP play while restricting abuse of MP for pure farming. I've played some MPTLEs before and bought fuel, this is definitely going to be abused if not fixed asap. By the math, 10 rare/legendary for 950 tokens = 95 tokens for guaranteed rare/legendary card 15 rare/legendary for 2185 tokens = 145.67 tokens for guaranteed rare/legendary card Now if you have been playing since PRO Kits were first introduced, then you'd only want to get the rare/legendary cards since you'd have most of your C and D class cars PRO'd already. But for a newcomer that need to catch up in PROing, this Lunar Box may make sense in the short run. LOL, poor advertisement
According to the Asphalt wiki, the Koenigsegg One:1 Season 9 race could be pretty useful for farming due to offering slightly higher rewards for similar times. Of course, getting a maxed One:1 may negate the use of farming that. That said, is it still worth pro-ing out my maxed P1? I've got a lot of useable parts in storage...
P1 and GTR will remain the best non-token A cars in this update. The new Ferrari will be faster, but it'll be for tokens unless you can win it. I've decided to PRO my P1 regardless of whether it'll stay competitive or not simply because it is a very fun car to drive (good nitro duration and predictable handling).
I'm not sure if P4 will be in any case better, as it has very bad acceleration. Write to customer care. Again a case where a working cloud sync would be an easy way out of such situation.
