The top speed of the Max Tuatara with all boosters while perfect nitro is only 0.1Km/h faster than the Max Lykan with all boosters while perfect nitro....which means there is no difference. And i am talking about the speed from the game data, which Gameloft hide from us and some players can get them and share them. Not the speed that the stats show in the garage which are not true, it does not exist any difference between both cars of 25km/h - 30km/h according to the stats that the game show in the UI (user interface). If you are not sure what I mean with this, I ask you to please foward this complain to the dev team. Because the Tuatara was marketed on public by Gameloft as "The new fastest beast in the game" and Gameloft made and shared a Youtube video last year before the 1.4.0 update on June/July https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XaB5uhQdfuE&feature=youtube_gdata_player You can't sell a product (a virtual product in this case) as the best among their class if this product (in this case the Tuatara) can't achieve better results as the previous one (in this case achieve faster times than the previous fastest car in the game, the Lykan). That is not ethical business, also because the Tuatara price is 950.000 credits...+400.000 more credits than the Lykan. For what reason? to make believe new players that this car is faster or better? Until now on all TLE's the Tuatara have never beated the Lykan...i think the only way is on Infected mode. And as far as I remember there is a big difference on the upgrades price between both cars... I like the Tuatara very fun car to drive, but with all respect I consider it as a bussiness strategy from Gameloft, a developer fail, or a waste of car by the dev team. There is no even need to see the real top speed of both cars while perfect nitro from the game data to understand why the Lykan achieve faster times on any track, i have seen complains from veterans about the top speed of the Tuatara on many forums and groups. This is why i ask the dev team to please increase the real top speed of this car, to make it more competitive against Venoms, Chryslers and Aeros. thank you
Juan, to be honest, I don't really see the point of your argument here. If Lykan is better than Tuatara, then so be it. There are people prefer Tuatara like you, but there are also people like to stick around with Lykan. Considering the cheap price of Lykan, I don't see the point of complaining Tuatara being no better than Lykan. Being more expensive does not mean being better, I'm pretty sure we have tons of examples on this part. I don't see how it matters if GL wants to show the *real* speed or not. FYI, ALL cars in the game have their speed exaggerated, and does it affect the players? Or does it affect the fairness of the game? Of course no. I am sure dev team have their own consideration, and it is just part of the game. As long as it is the same for everyone, I will live with it. Both Lykan and Tuatara are out of date cars anyway, it is unrealistic to have them comparable with new cars. The last thing dev team should to is to change old car settings. A game lacks consistency is doomed to be ruined.
Fabien, it is nice that multiple accounts are removed after the TLEs so they don't take places of legit players. However, they're still getting the rewards. In the long run, they're just getting more and more good stuff, which is unfair to legit players. I understand it might be hard to solve this problem completely, but I do hope the team can continue working on it.
Saphirad I think you are missing the point, it doesn't matter much to most of us now as we own most cars maxed, but for new players it is very misleading. I fell into the tuatara trap back when I just started getting near the more difficult stars in the latter seasons. Based on the displayed stats and cost, I spent over 3m very slowly earned credits getting the tuatara only to find that the Lykan was actually a better car and I could have saved over 2m credits which at that time would have given me so much more progress in the game unlocking more S9 maps etc. Also, I'm fairly certain this only affects S cars, the others are correct. You may not see misleading info as a problem but Juan was exactly correct in saying that it is not an ethical practice, this should be standard for a company the size of GL. I have some other thoughts on the bottleneck of cards everyone has been discussing. Due to spending too much money and also receiving an overly generous token gift from GL for a very long-running complaint, I have had quite a bit of experience in opening boxes and collecting cards, maybe more than most here. What I have found is that the mid tech is only the first bottleneck, believe it or not it does pass after a certain amount of cards/boxes, for example I had 30 mid tech in storage only last week and no 'top' cars to use them on, because of a lack of engines. Engines are the true bottleneck, the 'common' V8 is the most horribly miscategorised card in the game, due to both its drop rate and also the amount of required cars that use it (308, felino, arrinera, savage GTR). I have also been led to believe that the advanced tech cards become an issue later in the pro cycle, even though they just collect dust atm while we wait for mids and engines to get that far. This came from a player who has spent literally thousands of dollars on the game since the winter update, and they even told me they sold approximately 100 mid techs, so that pretty much confirms that mid tech is only the first of the problem spots in the game and does eventually pass to make way for even bigger bottlenecks. On that note, if Fabien is still reading, would you be able to share any more details about your previous comment about the drop rates of certain cards being increased? I know some players are holding on to prize boxes in anticipation of the update as a result of your comment, maybe you can confirm if this is a wasted effort?
Yeah, I forgot that one, as it will not increase the probability directly. But I will also help in getting mid-tech - thus, four suggestions
I completely understand your point. As I said, it is just a feature of the game. Misleading? Yes, it is. But if you go that route, then you can go on and on complaining about nitro duration, which is not even displayed in the game, and acceleration, which never reflects the reality. This is just a part of the game, they don't make everything crystal clear, especially to new players. Maybe we should as well accuse GL making some of the cars token only, because they never tell us beforehand (lol). I don't see that cheating, let alone an *ethical* problem. This fake speed feature is something in the game from day 1. Did you notice for those cars who have *real* speed is also 40% faster then they really are? This is just something by design, rather than glitches. So they would never and should never "fix" it. The last thing a good game would to is to change the old configurations - they may add new ones to compensate some of the effect, but never change the old ones. It would be a much much more disastrous for players. I just feel it is a waste of time whining about something like this.
Whining about other people's "whining" can't be a better a use of time, so let's just waste some time and talk it out. Also, you are still missing the point. It's not like the problem is simply an inaccuracy in the Tuatara's overall rating. I mean, everyone essentially figures out right away that a car's displayed overall rating is aprox plus/minus eleventy-billion. (Your point about nitro durations is a good one, but the answer to that problem is to display nitro durations, not to throw up our hands and say "Oh well. That's how it's always been, so we shouldn't make changes.") To understand the problem better, look at the Biome and the 599xx. The Biome has the lower overall rating, but is hands down the better car. You might argue that the 599xx is to the Tuatara as the Lykan is to the Biome, so if you accept one you shouldn't complain about the other. However, the Biome's individual stats make it clear that it is the better car. Even if the Biome's nitro duration were equal to the 599xx's, it is still clear from those individual stats that the Biome is a better selection. This is obviously not the case with the Lykan and the Tuatara. The Tuatara's individual stats suggest that it is not just better, but significantly better than the Lykan. It would be like the 599xx showing significantly better individual stats than the Biome and then performing as it does currently. The Tuatara's individual stats appear to be overstated to a much greater degree than any other car in the game. This problem is important because players generally cannot afford to purchase both at the same time and will be seriously disappointed when they make the "rational" decision to purchase the Tuatara. EDIT: twizzlers and nubs both taste like filthy cardboard to me
I'm glad you brought up Biome. Here are the stats, with fully pro and turning kit rank: biome 1590+57, 599xx 1611+42 Acceleration: biome 1.62s, 599xx 1.35s max speed: biome 398.6 kmph, 599xx 387.3 kmph handling: biome 1.386 Gs, 599xx 1.350 Gs nitro: biome 31.9 kmph, 599xx 42.9kph Would you say Biome is a WAY better car than 599xx simply from the stat? Would you know that Biome has a much better acceleration than 599xx? Would you know that Biome can handle most turns without drifting? You might be even more shocked if you made a comparison between Biome and Arrinera. I understand your complaint, but what you ask for is meaningless and equally unrealistic. To me, it is no difference with complaining about the overly priced cars and upgrade fee. Just something other rational people and Fabien would choose not say to you. As a gift, let me tell you something else that no one would tell you. The real car rank is only a function of max speed and nitro speed. I'm done wasting time on this topic here.
I don't agree here. My Biome handling is currently at 1364. If I attempt to take a hard turn without drifting, it will inevitably make a 90° turn and crash into a wall. When the handling was way lower than this I could take 80% of the hard turns without crashing. Now it will crash most of the time if I don't drift.
The Biome/599xx analogy I used isn't perfect, but it's cool because your critique of it actually makes my point for me. For sake of argument, let's agree that the Biome's stats appear to come out only very slightly ahead. The Biome's stats appear to come out ahead or at least equal. That's the important point. If the 599xx suffered from Tuatarautism, then the numbers you listed above would look like this (yes, I did the math): acceleration --- Biome 1.62s ------- 599xx 1.39s max speed ---- Biome 398.6 kph -- 599xx 446.4 kph handling ------- Biome 1.386 Gs --- 599xx 1.414 Gs nitro ----------- Biome 31.9 kph ---- 599xx 27.4kph Imagine seeing those numbers and then getting torched by a Biome. That's a tad dramatic. I'm prob still gonna talk about it.
I like both, but probably twizzlers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1eviy1BiZ8 when silver lightning turns into a biome lolololol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwggI7yek48 1:22:298 with a 1656 silver lightning and 21st on android
Great time man, I'm currently at 1.25.1xx (single-tanked) with a similar-ranked silver lightning, still haven't managed a perfect lap. I may try doing a double tank run later, if I can't bring my single-tanked time down to the low 1.24.xxx.
thanks! with single tank you can triple at more places because you don't need to fill your nitro bar as much (just try in quick solo mode and see where you can triple and doesn't kill you) but not surprisingly you run out of nitro far quicker i think i might try it in solo mode and tell you what my time is, of course the turns are everything, i'm not used to them like i am with monaco...
Does anyone have or know where I can find a list of unboosted no pro kit times for season 9? I would like to have a target time I should be aiming for and to know when I have reached a time that is impossible to beat. Cheers
Nice run! This cup has been frustrating, always a mistake somewhere...either no drift at last bottle or lose a perfect run by accidentally touching the wall while hitting lamp post.
