sometimes the lovely fuel system eats the double of fuel bars than it should be on the 1st race of any multiplayer Cup, for example if the Cup requires 2 fuel bars it eats 4, if the Cup requires 4 it eats 8 fuel bars ! is gameloft aware of this bug? it's already there several months i think.
Ghost Challenges I want to challenge you all to try to beat my ghosts,so all of you that aren't interested can skip this post.First of all my Gamecenter name is Driver6353,do mention that you are from Toucharcade. Season 9 Survolt:55.888 Single tanked max pro Season 9 Mini Cooper:1.50.784 Single tanked Season 7? Dodge Challenger event single tanked max Season 7 Nissan gtr single tanked max Season 9 DeZir:1.13.920 max pro single tanked Good Luck
Thanks, I will try that route in practice. It's a pity that you often have to compete with higher ranked cars now for the prizes and I'm sure you would've made 100 if you had PRO'd further. I made the mistake of PROing P1's drivetrain without matching suspension or tires, now it handles like crap and I can't even make 1:01:5xx
Many times I activate boosters only to find that I only have 4 bars left instead of the shown 10. I've given up on the MP madness cup. I have around 2,500 points but only get matched against fully Proed (at least around 1675) GT-R Nismos and Transmontanas. I can wait 20 minutes in a lobby before I get a race making the boosters a waste. Success: I managed to wreck WhiteLineS - he was using a 1685 Savage GTR 3X boosted and kept knocking everyone down despite most people competing against him single tanked and 50 points lower (we were literally in every lobby). I managed to clip his side and he lost control.
As for Midtechs and Advanced Techs I have 7 of each. But also loads of Early/Initial Teach -at least 20 of each which is annoying.
Sitting on 12 Advanced Techs. Would love to use them, but 0 Mid Techs Also, my 1676 LaFerrari is destroyer-of-worlds in the Alps MP TLE right now, but I'm failing hard in the Apex TLE... the distance to the first Nitro bottle in the Mirage is eating me for lunch.
P1 is a must for this cup due to its nitro duration. I wish I didn't spend my last remaining midtechs on it because they are so hard to come by and I can't get those tech boxes
Haha thank you man, I still have no clue how I did that, like with that angle it should be impossible XD Can you put the challenger and gtr times too? I'm on android so I can't just add your ghosts. It all started with me missing out on the 240 tokens, which meant I couldn't buy a specialist kit for the tech cup, because my 1550 599xx wasn't good enough. Because I couldn't win those 8 tech cards, I got even less mid tech to upgrade my p1, so now I can't get those 12 tech cards for top 100 for the apex cup. It caused a massive chain event and now I've missed 20 tech cards, which is definitely devastating... For the first time since I've started playing, I'm having small thoughts of quiting, like for most people losing 20 tech cards wouldn't be too big of a deal, but the way I see it, it just completely wrecked my short term and long term possiblities of winning events and even more cards... 20 tech cards... gone...
Yeah the card situation is really disheartening. Its not about racing anymore, even MP is totally wacked now because of mixed class card tweaks.
Yea, that sucks. How many tokens do you have right now? Only reason I've been holding back on spending on boxes for cards is to save for 9ff. I guess it all comes back to the question of short term vs. long term gains. I do hope the new update brings some kind of shop feature where you can buy select types of cards, for instance, tech cards or engine cards that seem to be the limiting factor holding a lot of players back simply because the odds of their drop rate is so low.
I was doing the same, until I realized that saving up for the 9FF plus trying to get it competitive could take months -- months that I'd get shut out of TLEs that I could be competitive in with big card boxes. In a nutshell, cards are the big limiting factor. So my strategy is to be quasi-competitive with as many cars as possible rather than totally competitive with one or two cars. The cards I've gotten from my two big card box token purchases haven't let me fully PRO any one car, but they've let me slide in to the 2nd and 3rd prize tiers on nearly every event. To each their own, but that's the strategy I went for with the current card situation. Cards are more valuable than cars.
about 100 tokens... Like I said, I had 524, so Elite.Abhinav convinced me to buy 2 expert kits (400 tokens) in an effort to see if I would get a midtech for the 599xx and of course no I didn't... Then I bought another expert kit (because I don't learn from mistakes) in hopes I could get a midtech for the p1, and of course I didn't get one... And if I didn't spend those 600 tokens, I would have been able to buy a specialist kit, where I would have an almost guaranteed chance of a midtech, and got top 100 in the apex cup Holy crap this is frustrating... Yea that was the same for me as well but then I changed just for the token apex cup in hopes of spending tokens to win tokens lol
That was on my mind but the variance in the types of cards you can get from boxes really put me off,. On top of that limited storage in the face of excess class D, C, B parts cards means clearing inventory first, which is undesirable. At the moment I have 12 Advanced Tech, 9 V12 engines sitting there taking up storage Yes, the chain effect of not winning important prizes means other players have an edge for future cups and it snowballs from there. I think if you were to spend tokens on cards, definitely spend them early to get an edge againat competition. Otherwise, might as well save them for the "must-have" cars.
A new feature request: - the ability to convert up/down cards. That is, convert 3 Early Tech cards into 1 Initial Tech; 3 Initial Tech into 1 Mid Tech; etc. and vice versa -- 1 Advanced tech into 3 Mid (not quite sure if I have the rankings right). Not sure if it would make sense to do this for Parts/Engines (eg, 3 D Class Tires into a Class C Tire?)
Wonderful idea for the tech cards! But parts cards is a bit tricky. By your logic, one would need 3x3x3x3=81 D parts for 1 S part which I would say is probably an useless exchange because one would get a S part surely before 81 D parts. 2 as an exchange factor is probably more realistic. One would need 2x2x2x2=16 D parts for 1 S part. For engines, conversion from 2 V6 to V12 or 3 V8 to forced V8 or 4 I4 to f6 would make some sense, and perhaps electric+any conventional=hybrid could work too. CALL out to Fabien! Please take a look at this game economy scheme Fabien as it adds another dimension to the game once you have PRO'd all your easily PRO'd D class and C class cars, it would make those cards useful and can help new players become competitive if they are lucky enough to win S parts that can be converted to lower class parts.
And that is exactly how Gameloft planned it. They want you to get so frustrated, you'll eventually consider spending real money the lesser evil. This new strategy of theirs was obvious as soon as they introduced the extra tank — the cards lottery is only a more exaggerated version of the same thing, and I'm still surprised it's actually legal. (In Germany, for instance, the government is supposed to have a monopoly on the lottery system.) Anyway, what helped me deal with the frustration and the resulting temptation to spend money is setting up clear rules for myself: 1) Never give Gameloft any money. 2) Tokens are for cars only. You won't be competitive with a strategy like that, but there's an upside: If all you ever compete for is third-tier (and sometimes second-tier) rewards, you can basically stop worrying about the cheaters, because you're playing in a different league. Conversely, if I had spent any tokens or money on cards, Gameloft's (economically sensible) unwillingness to deal with flag changers, extra tank restorers, and similar cheaters would make me aboslutely livid.
