Yeah, seriously. They've been pushing point requirement further and further to the edge. Less than 200 people made the 2800 points on the last cup, on Windows.

I'll give them props. It's super clever. By the time the cups end approaches, you're already so invested, time-wise, that not buying re-fills would be throwing everything you've done away.

I've noticed lately that most of the 'serious' TLE players on Windows --and I say 'serious' as in I recognize their names-- are getting more aggressive about jumping out in front and getting their points early. It's smart, given how competitive the final hours of TLEs get.

I'm at 3281, caught a bad break on one race. OH WELL. *lol* Figures, after getting jacked out of my "Top 50 in one race" cards from the last cup by after-end phantoms. Asphalt 8, expect the worst.

    Edit:

3486 after two more races. 1st with 4, 1st with 5. Doing the lobby bounce, trying to find a race with more than 4 or 5, but can't... so my average has already slipped to 102 pts per win with... 3000 points to go. Uh. Yeah.

Forget the multiplayer cup! LOL 7200 points... The number of points decreases so much you'll have to spend tokens on refills to get that far, even if you played every stinkin fuel point over 5 days! And I was mad enough they ended in a multiplayer cup for those extra tanks the other day... I don't have time for these, period.

And the mid techh situation? Crazy! I haven't seen a mid tech in 50 cards!

Gameloft get real! I just started dungeon hunter 4 this past week... There's a boss named ustrak that literally is impossible! And the game prevents you going further until you defeat him.. He saps your life and becomes invincible. Gameloft needs to ease up

Can I get your attention to the unbalanced situation on samsung android version of game? There are significantly less players on this platform but the requirements remain the same that on google. This leads to the absurd situation like latest MP TLEs, where for example on last episode of Chinese New Year cup only 4 players reached the limit of 2800 points!!! This is simply because there are so less players that you hardly race more than 3 racers. Sometimes you just sit and can't find anyone to race. Now the cup Climb The Ladder is another absurd. It's near impossible to get 7000+ points even in 5 days when you get only 25 points for a won race, because you can only race 1 or 2 racers if you are lucky.
I know on google version it's normal you race full 8 room of players, barely going in less than 5 in a race.

The second problem are divisions on samsung. Because of not many players all are put into only a few divisions with main prizes usually for top 1-5. This makes it few times harder than competing in regular global TLEs with main prize for TOP 100.

And the last, the most painful thing is that the update for samsung apps comes over a month after the update on google. And for this reason we miss most of the new contents because before the samsunsg update arrive the most of cups where the new cars could be won are long over!

So if you make google and samsung versions separate with updates, keep them also separate for cups timings!
I know that google and samsung are somewhat distinguished, for example google get different occasional cups and different promotions. So maybe it would be possible to adjust the rules for tha samsung platform which really suffers now from it's less popularity?

Why did they even make a special version for Samsung? On the bright side you have less people to compete with for top prizes in normal TLEs than on the Google version.

Update: Got 86 points for a win in a 5 player race, putting me at 3986.

So, I'm pretty much on track with my spitball numbers. Currently #45 on the Windows leaderboard. Missed a couple of race opps to see if I could squeeze into the top 100 Top B leaderboard without double tanking my 1550 Ferrari (I could not #156).

Think I'm done, though. Last two races were 4 player after repeated attempts at lobby fishing for a bigger race. Getting 150 points for two wins is a joke when I'm still 2500 points away from the bottom rung (and still in the Windows top 50 leaderboard).

    Fabien

Y'all should rethink the way these points work. The point goals that are being set are completely unrealistic when we have no control over how many people are in the race. You guys are probably using your biggest ecosystems as a baseline to set your points goals from, and killing those of us in smaller ecosystems. It's extremely rare to ever see 7 or 8 players in a MPTLE on Windows. Most races are 4-5.
    - Either set goals based on ecosystem populations
    - Or change the points payouts for wins to where they aren't based on number of racers

On android, it's always 7-8 player lobbies during the first hour of the cup, then it drops down to 4-5 (rarely 6)

Has yo do with the number of fuels the event requires. For the events with lower fuel requirements, you can usually find larger rooms because players come back to play relatively frequently as opposed to waiting for 100 minutes for fuel to refill just to play a 4 fuel event twice.

Yea, but I'm setting it aside for today and tomorrow for the Top-B class cup and Apex Wednesday. Only problem is I keep failing to get a clean start on Wall Ascent...I can make 1:01:6XX in practice but nothing close in the cup with the 1550 599XX

Same here waiting to see if I get any cards on tomorrows draw before I suck it up and double tank. With how bad I need mid tech cards getting in that top 100 might really help.

Can anyone tell me if there is a point to the Exclusive Metal Events? They seem too easy to win, but I can't seem to find any other goal. There must be some point to having 24 cars in the race or maybe I am just over thinking it.

yeah, that's stupid. And I would prefer if they adjusted all prizes for the size of platform, the global prizes could be also limited for samsung to keep it fair

    Couple of questions/suggestions for local wifi races (something me and some other do of a lunchtime at work);

    1. Why is there still no San Diego or Sector 8 tracks available?
    2. Would be good if you could race against cars from different classes.
    3. Should get some nominal credit amounts for race wins.

I'm a huge dbag for pointing this out, but the phrase "less players" makes me want to kick a puppy. I'm an English teacher. I can't help it. Forgive me...

Anyway, when referencing a noun that can be quantified with an actual number, "fewer" is a better adjective than "less." The adjective "less" goes with the noun "amount", but you never have an amount of players, always a number of players.

As an example, you would have fewer players, but less oil. Anytime you have the urge to say "less players," imagine someone saying "fewer oil." It will make you cringe, and you will remember.

Obviously, none of that info matters much here, but maybe someday you'll need it when writing something official and important.
