I wonder if we have another cheater again on the leaderboard (well I guessed most of them are cheaters who are good at masking their exploits of the game). I am actually Chinese so I know what those usernames meant on the leaderboards. In the APEX WEDNESDAY Leaderboard, the no.1 guy's name says "Unlimited credits save file QQ30887972" - QQ is a social network for the Chinese. No.3 name is translated as "Completed Account only costs 5 CNY, search Taobao: 小宋當家" - taobao is a Chinese online market like ebay. I don't know why such blatant cheaters aren't banned (maybe there isn't a single person that knows Chinese in Gameloft?) when these guys just blatantly tells everyone they cheats and even sells accounts on their username. By the way, while I'm at it I'll just translate some names so you guys know how retarded those guys can be. Some names like "陳大屌" means "Chen Big Dick" where Chen is just a Chinese character used as a family name. 一屎流" can be translated "The shit!" where shit is understood as the slang for awesome. "一流" is First-rate and "屎" is shit, so if you were to translate into English, it would be the shit. Then there is also "尼瑪 坑" which is basically "F**k your mum". "尼瑪" is phonetically the same as "你媽" which means your mother, we call these 通假字 which means words that are used to substitute other words because they sound the same. You can probably guess what 坑" means so I won't explain that. They do use appropriate names, but there are always some of them that loves to ruin the image of the Chinese -.- For now I haven't seen a single offensive English name. Maybe there are offensive names in other languages as I do not understand them, but the Chinese ones are often seen because they are on top. Well, I hope that was a interesting read for you guys. I'm too tired from grinding. Finally bought Mazda Furai, but I still 3 more cars to be bought using credits before I finally bought all the non-token, non-premium cars in Class B. Maxed 12 cars in Class B for now - including the Rimac. What a pain in the ass.
Yeah it should be faster its speed on specs are so fake mine's at 1702, starved of mid tech cards right now, need a lot of those for every class.
That's just epic. I've got to hand it to these enterprising folks, shaking their money-makers for all to see.
So what is the best upgarde for this beast? I will try to buy this but now i dont have enough tokens. Are there any others ? I had Citroen Sulvolt 3-1-1-1. I have 5m credits now and i will buy Koenigg One 1. what is the best upgrade for it? upgrading it to max is best, isnt it?
I expect we'll see a lot of people switch to the DeZir just like everyone gravitated to the Survolts (in MP0). It's all going to come down to tweaking the various upgrade options.
Big hello to all A8 players in here. I've played it for close to 1 year, come here regularly for helpful tips (thank you by the way ), but this is my first post since i cant find some info in your older posts. My question concerns MP streak rewards: after the latest update i seem somehow to only get credits and 1 lame nitro boost after the 9th win... Im on lvl 65 now and the upgrades for D & C class made MP very palatable before the update. Do they give anything else than the before mentioned rewards or that's about it? I'm playing on Android btw.
I haven't seen C class upgrades in a while... Pretty sure they're gone on Windows. I think they disappeared when the Felino was introduced.
I'm still getting D-class upgrades as well as credits and nitro on MP streaks. But I don't get D-classes as often as others. Came in handy when I was messing with my DeZir. By the way, I've maxed that all the way. Still fine, but a little less competition if you don't max it across the board. But I rarely if ever run sans nitro and tuning kit (in case someone wants to race, don't want to let them down by not be suitably equipped, yo).
Just to be clear: UniteVN clan has released a cheating tool for Asphalt 8, which is cheatengine based(Windows 8). So if you see a Vietnamese in the top 10 with a max pro token or premium car, it's 100% that he didn't pay a cent. Also, there are very-very few people who pay. Just like Napo W. On iPhone, there are tons of cheats in Cydia.
The rating. I've given the 100 point spread I think is the best, fine-tuning is up to everyone's own personal taste Bang. Another Whiteline clanner down: #17 on the Windows leaderboard, Whiteline Aly Tseev. Silly rabbit quit instead of finishing the race. With my MP rating, he probably only would have lost 4-6 points. In this case, gaming the system (quitting to lose 10 instead of losing more) bit him in the butt.
Very interesting read indeed. You probably answered your own question there - these ppl probably assume no one at GL understands CH so they go nuts with the remarks. My Chinese bud tells me that Sky, Driver, and Summer regularly hurl insults at one another using their names, some of which contain words that would be banned if typed out in English.These guys are probably similar to raging 13-18 yr olds who say ridiculous shit on Halo. As for offensive English names, have you come across the Gangboii clan yet? GL probably won't interfere with these names in the end because you know, freedom of speech and all, unless there is malicious intent involved. @Quailstorm, good to know cheaters are alive and well! I wonder if these cheat systems slow down MP races. Whenever I enter a room with CH players that have blocks for names, the MP race gets glitchy and slow. I have also come across random odd behaviors from CH drivers that zigzag randomly, teleport in front of me, then explode without reason. Guys, any help on tap to steer or on-screen control? Also, is the Lucra worth buying? Thanks in advance.
Seriously? If you're going 4:30 in a 2-lap Tokyo race with a DeZir, it's probably ranked around 800 or so. That's the most commonly used rating among players who have the ability to restore their cars' upgrades to stock whenever they want.
I can't say I know enough about cheating to know if that's factual or not -- and frankly, can't be arsed to care. Feel free to think whatever you want. It's the interwebs. Conspiracy theories abound.
Re: 50 token compensation for mistaken ban: I got that message too. Wasn't actually inconvenienced much though, as I was attending driving classes or plugging away at Battlefield 3 for the duration of the ban.
