there's two types of v8 cards, you need a forced induction v8, which is legendary, to pro a k1 the other type is a common v8, which is useful for lower cars
Anyone buying boxes for 200 tokens with winnings or are you saving for a car? I Just believe a 9ff gt9 VMAX is a while away. But I'm 262/2000 for that high speed b car... (and an easy 360 more tokens these tle). I regret that I bought some refills which I'll quit doing...
Thanks a lot and you replied so quickly. To be honest these common V8 aren't that really common to me and this is the first time I got them. (I never got one of them from daily boxes or random boxes I won so that rate is really low to be common.) Do you happen to know how likely it is to get V8 legendary engines when you buy the Champion kit box? For example, maybe for 3 boxes (90 cards) you may get 3-5 V8 engines? I don't plan to buy them use real $$$ but I need to find a effective way to spend hard earned tokens. I heard the rate for V8 from champion boxes isn't very appealing so I hesitate to buy them. Also These guys in top have K1, 9FF etc max pro. It seems too much for me even if they win the top tier prizes every time. Do they really spend that much money for pro boxes? Thanks in advance.
I don't regret sticking with the tuatara seeing as to how high the card requirements are for the koenigsegg (and venom gt...). The SSC is half the trouble. K1 is 20 kph faster in the end.
Eric is correct. Here is a visual for you: . The V8 you need has a gold instead of white background. As for the frequency of getting V8 legendary cards, I have no idea. But I do tend to get more cards for car classes that I have no intention of upgrading. For example, I don't upgrade any S-class cars but keep on receiving tech and parts for S instead of A class.
Depends on your situation and desire for competitiveness. I am saving tokens for cars rather than cards. My P1 1660 and Felino 1500 are somewhat competitive at their respective stats right now; I usually manage to land a position to win tokens/tanks/etc with a single tank. Since I don't desire the top 100 spot, I'll just let chance work its magic on my daily card box purchase.
There's no way you'll get 5 from one, it says 15 rare or legendary, so maybe 10 rares and 5 legendary per box i would count on 1 per 2 boxes for the v8 you'll get a lot of other legendaries though and i wouldnt bother buying the boxes either, save for the token cars yup they've spent a thousand or something i think
Yeah the duh-mazing number of fully upped 9FFs have made me write off anything in S Class. I'll never manage to get all the cards needed to PRO an S.
Thanks again. That's close to my guess (3-5 for 3 boxes) but it's just a guess. For token cars, it takes really long (for me) as well, lol. 150 tokens per 2 days it takes a month to get the Arrinera Hussarya, which needs V8 for level 5. 5000 tokens car is a long shot and for 12000, I can only say hehe. I'll save them for now then to see if anything worth to buy coming out n hopefully not too expensive.
Although, those arent the cards you need, the felino will require plenty of em, so spend em wisely, and yes, the cards you want, are yellow V8s I got my Venom, but rather enjoy my Tuatara, so I've consider going your way. The ammount of Forced induction V8s are insane, with like 20 or so needed in the end. Thx for sharing your thoughts on that Even after buying like 10 of those 30 card boxes, I've got like 3-4 Yellow V8s, and far to few mid-techs and engine parts in general. This whole pro card upgrades is kind of a non paying slot machine. Some (Unless cheat) must truly have spent 1000+$ for tokens to get their max everything. Me, I'm just happy I get to get most of the parts I need for my collection of cars to upgrade, with several beeing maxed out all the way weeks ago. And when I do get to many cards, I put em on type (possibly) might be a good car with some pro, and I do sell of stuff I truly know I have no need for (Numbers or trash) but be very carefull, as you'll always need tech cards and engine cards, even if it doesnt seem like it, right this hour. And, although I've had like 250 cards the last few days, I still find my self missing the most elementery cards, like tires for D class, or exhaust and gearstick in A class. Ahh welll it is kind of fun, and It's not like I spend hundreds on this anyhow

That info is very helpful. And the numbers are really bad. Let's say you time that number by 10 and you get 100 Champion kit boxes. If the rate stays the same, you get about 40 legendary V8s. And the K1 alone requires more than that (44) to be max proed. Let's say one wins 150 tokens per day (which is an overestimate even if u r the best player.) A little math says that you need 633 days to get there, oh well. And I am sure a lot of things will change for that long time. So the max pro K1 is basically a no hope for non-paying players.
I'm also surprised with the overall performance of P1 and GTR. Even in MP those two cars are killers with a little Pro added to them. The GTR kills everything from the start and The P1 starves the Double tank of the K1 easily. I prefer the P1 because of its enormous Nitro duration , allows you to stay on the ground on many tracks. My 1677 (4453) P1 was enough get the W on the German iOS Leaderboard on Dubai with a time of 47.355 although there were much higher ranked GTRs and also one Pro Max Tramontana. http://youtu.be/nYH2RfLvRgM I think the system knows exactly what Pro cards we need and gives us the exact opposite. I haven't seen mid tec or forced induction V8 for ages. And the last champions box was full of rare parts only one legendary rare tec.
Lol. That is why every DJ session helps! Maybe there will be a sale on the VMax in the future. Totally agree about the pro card distribution, which "seems" random. GL must have analytics to make sure that the closer you are to full pro, the longer it takes to get the right cards for that specific car.
I am not sure but I feel like the nitro for K1 was reduced a bit after it comes out. I believe it isn't random. This system has been out for about 40 days. 160 daily random boxes plus the random ones (not counting tech cards nor engine cards) I won. I think I shall have at least 200 random draws so far. But I get 0 legendary V8. So far I only got 1 legendary V8 which was from an engine box.

I won 2 leg v8 from daily boxes, One from engine box, but none from champion kit box. I think it is just luck. They have an algo with probabilities of each cards: e.g. Early tech has 10%, but turbo v8 only 0,001%.
