On Barcelona nothing critical can happen. If I compare times I loose it somehow at the start. But know that already from ghost races. The touch sensitivity of my device is not the best, rather frequent it also does not react when I want to start drifting. I think I have to live with the fact that I am a poor place 100-150 guy unless I do not change my device.
Surly we have different devices, but what helps when I cant even use tripple nitro because of responslag, I've left the game running in the background, one hour or more. I find simply restarting A8 quickly let me do those tripples and tight corner quickdrift nitro without lag. If it may help....
In principle a good suggestion, but I do that already. In addition I kill all other tasks on the device. Otherwise it can happen that driving is horribly lagging. I think with my Galaxy Note 2 I should not have so old hardware. I suppose that also internet connection (ping time) has influence.
On the tramontana cup... 1.08.xxx time is made by trimming the curves off the track by heading straight off the sides. Every little turn, wobble, counter steer adds meters of road, adding up lost time. using double nitro effectively as well (in place of slower perfect nitro)
From the good news, bad news front, took at least 12 runs with the go-kart, found 0.6 second bouncing up, down and all around (which is great) but still 0.3 away from goal of 1:08.5. It's been a long time since I took a run at these TLEs and no doubt rusty. Two key areas to me are getting the first corner super crisp and getting the bounce from the last curved ramp to final upper ramp just right so you carry good speed through the trees. You know you've got a shot if you hit the big jump at around the 33-second mark.
Can someone tell me what the red "X" in MP results rating column means? I'm going to try to insert an image here, or at least link to it. It's the results leaderboard for a MP race where I finished second. The first place racer has no rating, up or down arrow, rating points change, or player name. Not complaining, really, just trying to understand what I'm looking at. Banned, unregistered time, or disconnected during race (maybe last one, but honestly i'm not sure) ...but I haven't seen anyone with no rating. Strange indeed
I wish all the clan members would hurry up and finish their cheating so I can get my boxes. It's been more than two hours since the "Race Against the Clock Cup" ended and I'm still dropping spots on the leaderboard. #
You can get it now I think. I just got mine and damn, I got only 1 Mid-Tech and 1 Advanced Tech out of the 14 Tech boxes. Pretty pissed the rest are Initial or Early Tech cards. I really need more Mid-Tech so I can Pro my higher class cars (Advanced Tech cards are useless for now because I don't own the cars the need them yet). Edit: I just noticed now that there is a guy named Exp141t with a time of 00:50:787 on the Tramontana XTR Cup leaderboard. Was this discussed before or is it not even worth discussing?
He's a cheat, plain and simple. He won the 9FF also with an impossible time so after tomorrow he will have cheated his way to 17000 tokens worth of cars. I often wonder do these clowns at gameloft even know anything about their own game, anyone who plays at all can look at that and realise immediately something isn't right. I reported him already but I doubt anything will happen, it's inconceivable that he wasn't reported many times weeks ago in the 9FF cup yet here he still is, polluting the top of every leaderboard since. About the tech prizes, last week I got 1 mid 1 advanced and 12 garbage. It was looking pretty grim last night when my first ten were all junk too, then the first 3 cards in my last box were all mid tech! You can imagine how excited I was at the prospect of a perfect box as they opened one by one lol
Is already on lowest level. I remark one of my problems most drastically in mp. Yesterday I made a race in Tramontana mpe and started first. With nitro starter and tuning kit and tripple at first starting position noone should be able to get me. But then the device freezes for half a second. Means my car is frozen at its position but all others move further. That was enough for the driver behind me to wreck me immedeately after the my devices reacts again. Place 7 instead of 1.
Was similar with my boxes. In the first boxes I got 3 mid. But the last 3 cards of the last box: all mid. Got no advanced but at least 6 mid. I'm content with that result. On the other hand, when I see how many advanced cards K1 or 9FF need to get pro max (have 2 up to now), I think it will take ages to make it.
6 is a great result! Most I've heard of before was last week kjoli78 got 5 mid tech. I don't think the advanced tech will be as big a problem as engine cards for K1 and 9FF tbh, I have quite a few built up, over 10 I think, but have only had 4 forced induction V8s (for K1) so far. I'm hoping I can get the 8 engine cards on today's apex cup but it's looking like it's gonna be tough.
The Apex cup is another joke. The top is dominated by those using the already viral glitch, and those who don't know about it or don't have the Dezir can forget about the top 50 (that includes me)
I'm not sure the dezir is the best car for this map tbh, I'm using the 308 and can't beat the time I set with it when I try the dezir.
I'm using the Nissan but I can't get the glitch going, it just teleports me back :/ I mean, the top 20 positions are a good 10+ seconds away from the others....
That reminds me of what some people were experiencing when San Diego first came online. But I believe that lag was right at the start. I've seen a crap-ton of strange, glitching, blinking cars lately as well as cars doing insane twists in the air, hitting stuff, landing on their noses and going on like nothing happened.
