Division cup issue Hi guys, in the Alps Division Cup I noticed some weird thing. When I joined the division the top 2 guys are both Sky players. The first one is 58:9xx and the second one is named 'Sky\out something 59:1xx. Later I check again the first Sky guy simply mysteriously disappeared left with only the 'Sky\out guy being number one. And then later some guy with name looked like ????/??? something became the first one with a record 57:9xx and the second one is now the Sky\out guy. After that for a second time the first guy disappeared! I have experience before some players come to top rank in Division cups near the end of the cup. Either they tried hard near the end or there is a bug allowing them to hold their records and upload after the cup is finished. Can someone help me to explain this?
No, you have it figured out. They have found a way to upload their times after cups have finished, so that they can push honest players out of the top spots and steal their rewards. The Sky clan members in particular are the worst offenders. In the recent regional C-class Expert Cup in Nevada (worldwide version), I fell 9 spots (from 16th to 25th) less than one hour after the tournament had ended. Everyone that magically appeared in front of me was a Sky member. Gameloft ended up not even giving us the prizes that they had promised, so this time it didn't make a difference. It's a cheap and disgusting tactic on the part of the (primarily Chinese) culprits, but so far Gameloft has shown that there is nothing they can do to stop them, and they don't even seem to care in the first place. Not unless you've spent a lot of money on this game. In that case, they will bend over backwards and ply you with rewards to keep you happy.
I think they may have also found a way to remove their times from divisional leaderboards, so that they can either play again in an easier one a bit later, or so that they don't take away rewards from their fellow clan members.
hey velandil are you in my alps division cup? i saw a guy called looper v. in gray lol driver 4118 is it possible to wait until the rewards appear and immediately claim them? i remember public enemy got his k1 by doing that
Thank you for the reply. Now number one is Public Enemy with 58:079, too bad I am in the same division with him. But if our guess is correct, that ????/???? guy may come up later with under 58s using a 1500 cB7.
Oh yeah, I got another question. Are people with boxes in their names part of a clan or something? I got some beef with these people. They tend to use nitro boosters and ram as much people as possible. Every time I see them I get so pissed that I try to knock them out so that they can never win. Oh and I get knocked out for some reason whenever I touch another car? It happens at times when we are at the same speed and are going for the ramps to do tricks. I don't get why I am knocked out when we touch each other while flying, but the other person is perfectly fine. We are the same speed and I even did a perfect nitro. It's crap like this that ruins my experience at times. I tried the Survolt 3-1-1-1 upgrade as suggested and it is working well Favourite track is Dubai as I rarely lose on that track >.< A lot of the people can't make the first turn for the shortcut so I manage to win most of the time (unless I'm racing against the experts xD). I still can't do much in events, but it's still fun to be able to get rewards for participating in some events
Yes Eric it was your shout indeed on the 3-1-1-1, that's how it still is on my girlfriends account and going strong in MP, although she is playing again so I don't need to get credits for her anymore. I'm too busy trying to navigate all of this new token/card/pro crap to even make sure her daily bonus is continuing. The boxes showing are symbols that can't be displayed for whatever reason, usually chinese lettering but also other symbols. It usually would be clan members but not exclusively. You will get sick of Dubai in MP lol, trust me on that one, I was exactly like you when I first started playing MP after the Dubai update and I thought it was great that I could go from 3rd/4th/worse to first with a simple shortcut, but it gets boring after a while. San Diego forward is my new hate map, I used to really like it but sick of it in MP now coz it gets the votes all the time, the glitch was about the most fun part of it if you were behind and could recover a result ( http://youtu.be/7T4Zl9GoSmk apologies for quality!). I was gonna post about the late times comments made but motor away (4118) has got it spot on. I got shafted for 6 cards the other day when I finished the cup in first, summer player appeared above me 15 mins later, his summer pal then arrived above him 1-2 hours after he had probably claimed the prize, and 8 hours later yet another appeared on top again. So in all likelihood all three of the *******s probably got the 6 cards that should have been mine.
Do you think it's possible to sue GL for violating their own Terms of Service and Conditions ?? I think Ubisucks/MoneywhoreLoft needs to take responsibility for these miscalculations/hacks/whatever But who am I kidding, our complaints are forever ignored. We on this forum, GL's most experienced and most dedicated players, should be getting most of the attention. That's my word, and wouldn't you agree?
Do you guys know if I could sync my progress from iOS to my Android phone? Hasn't worked for me so far even though I'm logged in to Facebook.
It doesn't work cross platform. I remember I posted the same question on this forum or Youtube (can't exactly remember) and someone said unfortunately if you're on iOS then you're stuck with iOS, apparently
Tried to score top 5 on "Alps Division Cup" last night to get 8 extra parts cards. I was at the very top for quite a while but sure enough a few pr0s joined with their pr0 cars (10-35 higher ranked Felino than mine) and pushed me down a few spots. Out of frustration, because I knew I could easily beat them in a similar ranked car, I bought a bunch of cards hoping to get one "Class C tyre" card that I needed. It would put my tyres at level 4 and I would definitely score top 3-5 with that. But go figure ha! Of course I didn't get the any tyre card and ended up 6th, oh God the pain... :/ This "Pay me without knowing what you are getting" practice should be down right illegal. Somebody should sue these Gameloft cu*ts but who am I kidding. Moving on to todays cup, Gameloft obviously f*cked up again just like the did with San Diego. How else are some guys scoring 44-50 seconds on "W12 Cup" on Sector 8? So where's the glitch/bug this time? Is it the first Vortex?
It's all about navigating that tricky spiral at the end of the course. I saw a video of a Chinese clan member doing it, and it was amazing how many seconds he saved. (Also, this is kind of a secret, but I'll tell you anyway, since it's almost impossible to pull off: if you touch the lasers in the right-hand tunnel at the perfect angle, your car launches forward and gets a huge speed boost.)
Thx Motor Away. btw where did you see the video? The Asian's that I'm subscribed to are "myself be" and "Rogar Guo" but I don't remember them performing the spiral better than PE or doing the right tunnel trick. Could you possible drop a link? Cheers
theres 2 glitches actually, the one that driver 1184 posted a long time ago is the first one, and that one that i think still puts you on the "clean race" leaderboard theres another one, which some guy decided to reveal on the fb group, that puts you on the "cheaterboard" (well the android one current just has everyone who used that glitch, so like 30 people, no hackers really) also, if you use the second glitch, its extremely hard to play mp because of how there arent many people on android cheaterboard
