    Hmmm, so thats what I've been doing wrong. Here I was thinking I was challenging my self, even more with "7 evil intentionts" surrounding one self. Meaning ; To poor not to take my coins where I get em

    On the Topic of A8, I've kinde of learned nitro has 3 levels to it, rather then 2. Is this old news ?
    In SD I've kinda used it as a gear stick, rather then, how fast and how quick button

    Pro Kits and Pro Inventory

    So...

    How do I use my Pro Inventory?

    I have -
    Pending Boxes
    Total: 4

    And then I have 2 cards.
    The obvious card is the S Suspension. I can gather what I need to upgrade and S Class car's Suspension.
    The other card says: i4

    First, how do I open the 4 Pending Boxes? Second, what the heck is an i4 Card for?

    Don't know about anyone else, I was racing in Iceland and a group of presents started to roll and I got caught in them, causing my vehicle to spin out and crash.

    The gifts inside the boxes were probably solid, heavy objects.

    You should see the purple boxes on the upper right in "Pro Inventory". Just touch the box to open them.

    Probably required for some level 3+ upgrades. The higher level upgrades need more cards and $. Same for higher level cars, e.g. Koenigsegg One:1 need 3 cards for just first level upgrade, but Lykan only need 1 card.

    Second night in a row the free fuel refill video has automatically started on me when I already had a full ten bars. Last night, I opened the Christmas Cup and the video started immediately. Tonight, I opened the Apex Cup menu, checked out the leaderboard, and when I closed the leaderboard to go back to the Cup menu, the video started. Both times it has counted the unrequested viewing as my refill and not let me do another that would actually get me some extra fuel.

    I've seen some weird stuff with city havoc obstructions since the update. They seem to get hit by invisible cars occasionally. I'll be in the lead with no cars in sight, and lamp posts and benches will start flying away before I even get to them. I don't remember ever seeing it prior to this update, but I've seen it a handful of times since. I guess GL has given a whole new meaning to ghost opponents.

    I can't believe how terrible the Pro-kits really are. It took a while for it to sink in how bad it is because all the details didn't initially register for me.

    - It is like the normal upgrades as in there are five levels and four different features to upgrade and the prices seem marginally higher than those of the regular upgrades which means that it will cost a little more than twice as much to PRO the car as it would to MAX the car.

    - But that's not all. Before you can make each pro-upgrade, you need anywhere between one to five "cards" which will be used up when you make that upgrade.

    - These cards aren't free. Heck, they are not even available for credits. You can't just use credits to buy a card you want. You have to buy RANDOM cards and hope you get the right ones (or win TLEs but same deal). And 4 random cards cost around 10,000 credits.

    - But hey, that's not all. You can only buy 4 random cards per day.

    I feel like either I'm going nuts or gameloft is going nuts. I can't actually believe they are serious about this. We would essentially have to pay multiple times to make an upgrade - first for the cards (which we would only get randomly), and then for the actual upgrades for which you need exponentially increasing number of cards.

    And not even using real money can get you a straightforward way to get those upgrades because you have to buy TOKENS with real money, then apply those tokens over and over to the ones where you get rare and legendary cards and hope that you randomly draw the cards needed to upgrade your car. And then pay to upgrade it.

    It is one thing to create all these frustrating things in-game and suggest that using real money will ease your frustration (I get it to some extent as that's what the Freemium model is), but quite another to make it so that no matter how much real cash you put in, you can at best hope to randomly draw the cards you need, so there is no guarantee at all and you just have to spend infinite amount of money at worst.

    ~~~
    Does anyone actually have a fully upgraded PRO car? If so, how did you upgrade it and what are the pains and perils you went through to make it happen?
    I'd also be interested in hearing if anyone has stats on on how much it costs for each PRO upgrade for any car and also if you have can list the cards required for each of those upgrades.
    That's the beauty of it. No matter how much you pay, you still may never get what you want. It's scandalous. The mobile market needs to be regulated, and fast. This type of scamming shouldn't be legal. More and more companies like Gameloft are taking advantage of their customers, and it's downright disgraceful. They take advantage of the fact that kids play these games, getting all their money from their parents. The parents don't monitor the logistics of these charges, they just provide the kids money, and the kids don't know any better. It's one thing to sell IAPs at ridiculous prices, it's a whole other thing to do it in a fashion which is essentially a scam disguised as a lottery.
    The only good thing that could possibly come of this is GL being able to more easily pinpoint cheaters, due to the unrealistic possibility of players earning content without paying ridiculous amounts for it. Unfortunately, GL doesn't seem to have cared about doing anything to promote an even playing field in a long time, so it's unlikely that will be the case.
    I am lost as to how this all works, I have a load of cards that don't seem to do anything, wtf are the tec cards? How do people on my friends list seem to have higher pro level cars than me? How do you watch ads to ge fuel refills, I haven't seen any chances to get that?
    The cards seem to be mixed between specific to car class and upgrade cards, and tool cards to go along with the upgrade cards (depending on car/upgrade). Each car/upgrade requires different cards/combinations. Friends have different levels because everything is random and everyone has different luck. Also, once you get the cards, you can choose which cars you want to spend them on to some degree, so they have likely used theirs to upgrade the cars you are looking at.
    As for the vids, there's one on the home screen in the bottom left corner (where the specials cycle through) you can watch for 3 free tokens every 24(?) hours. The fuel bar refill vid shows up when you select a TLE, right above the window in the bottom right where the track and fuel cost shows. You may have to run a race first, or if you're like me, the video will just automatically start playing when you have a full fuel tank.
    Did you run a race? When I select a TLE after first loading the game, the video option doesn't show up. It only shows up after I race a TLE and return to that TLE's main page (though there do seem to be some bugs, possibly related to multitasking?). Are you on iOS?
    Here's the home page vid (bottom left)
    Well, I finally lost my patience and decided to get rid of this forsaken game for good. I already uninstalled it (I should have spent everything as well, but eh). That will also mean I will not be posting here as often, or even not at all.
    I had fun with this game. It was so simplistic and unrealistic, yet it still manages to be entertaining in a way. Now, I don't find the fun in it anymore since it's all about grinding and grinding. There's nothing wrong about grinding, but there has to be a point where you can fully have fun with the game after doing this tedious work for a certain amount of time. But who am I to tell them what to do? They can ruin the game as much as it pleases them: they won't care, and neither will I.
    I also had fun on this thread. You are a cut above the rest, not only with skills, but with manners.
    Oh well. Farewell if I don't post again, and see you on No Limits/A9 :)
    I'm not getting the videos either, and it's not through lack of playing lol. Actually quite a lot I know haven't got it, my bro or girlfriend haven't, kj has said above that he hasn't, and at least PE and maybe some more from the team aren't getting it either. It is pretty odd. I'm not too bothered anyway, 3 tokens is worth basically nothing, and there are so many TLEs on atm that one fuel refill per day isn't gonna improve my positions much. Too many running at any given time to focus on practicing properly for any of them.
    That is strange. You don't ever see them? I don't know if they've rotated them in and out, but they haven't always been available for me. I saw the first one on the final day of the introduction 308 cups, and then I didn't see the option again for a couple of days.
    I agree that they're worthless. At 3 tokens/day, it will take you over two months just to get an expert kit box (8 random cards), which will likely all be garbage anyways. The fuel refill is pretty worthless as well.
    No worries though, GL is making money from it, so it's all good. It doesn't need to be fair for all players for them to cash the checks.
    Why do a bunch of the clan cheaters seem to have most of their best cars heavily upgraded already? I see Hyikun and many Summer/k-b/Open/etc. guys using Savage Rivales that have ratings over 1670. A lot of rare cards were needed to pull that off in less than a week.
    Are we supposed to believe that these crooks, who have never paid for an extra tank or a credit-doubler ever, finally bit the bullet and spent $100-200 on tokens just so they could continue to stay at the top of the leaderboards?
    Even though these cards are apparently "random," perhaps Gameloft is giving these players better hands, all in an effort to incite other players to keep buying tokens/cards and try to keep up with them. That wouldn't surprise me at all, coming from this scroogey company.
    Per. 24h, even worse, but whats with all the hate? Has playing A8 become so terribly different ?
    Perhaps, you wont have your "I win" car any more, but that would challenge your skills as a driver.
    If challenge and skill isnt motivation, what is ?
    I guess I'll have this thread all by my self in a short time :p
