Right after updating, I tried to race a bit on MP. Won 3 times in a row and got the first streak reward. Before the update, it was usually 2500 credits. Now I got 1250. If you want, I can give you a pic. Also, page 1313
Maybe if we take into account the time you have to wait. But 2 things: - Winning streaks give you credits and stuff SP won't be able to give, so whether SP is more rewarding than MP is still debatable. - You prefer getting credits fast. I prefer having fun while doing so. On a random note, there's a promotion on the Codatronca, the new B-class contestant. It's for 1000 tokens now. I can purchase it, but I don't want to until I have a confirmation that it beats the Biome, cause if it can't, I might as well stick with the Flying Squirrel.
Got to say nice job to Fury's P.E. on his run in the TLE on the new track (OmegaTron2000 or whatever it's called), first guy in the world under 60 seconds. Took three passes with my Hennessey but best I could do was in the 1:02 range and that was lucky.
Mine was like that long before the update. Ever since I maxed all D and C class my streaks have been 1250/2500/5000/nitro for 3/5/7/9 streaks.
Word he goin hard for them double tanks xD but I know I can do better; I keep missing the yellow nitro bottle on the very first anti gravity wall or sometimes I go to high and catch air. But I do good on everything else. Also since there's prolly a lil bit of physics involved in the very last circular turn try and drift as close to the inner wall as possible without making contact my best time is 1:04:1xx but I know I can get a better time...need to get back in the top 250 lol
It appears that the 1140 Mini Cooper is the newest craze in MP now, if anyone's wondering. Hyikun and Sky Richard (the #1 and #2 ranked players on iOS) have been using it all day. How they both managed to upgrade it so quickly is an entirely different matter.
And I've got to say, the Survolt at 1336 is stout in MP, especially with a good start. Probably ran 50 races with it (tuning kit and nitro) and won all but two. Finished second twice to triple-boosted Biomes about the same rank (1338?). And on one of the losses, I made a bit of an error.
Has anyone been able to use credits to buy anything? (like cars, car upgrades, etc.) I don't want to update (yet) if my 3.3M credits are of no use. Cause I could farm for a maxed K1 and only then update.
You can still buy cars for credits, it's just the new cars coming out might only be IAPs or purchased with the new tokens. And, while you may have updated your cars, there's a new level added with more upgrades. You get those with cards (random) and you get those cards, for the most part, with the new tokens. NUTS.
A Positive update feature You can now watch a video ad that refills your TLE fuel. Not clear how often you can do it
I got three tokens lol but anyway why is there so many events going on at once? Feeling a little overwhelmed :/ two of them are MPE that require 3 and 4 fuels I can't compete lik that my fuel can only go so far
Updating or not updating will not affect your ability to progress with credits only. You can still do everything you could do before with credits, it's just that all the new stuff you can only do with tokens. In fact, that's not 100% correct, there is a pro box with 4 upgrade cards available every 24 hours for 9000 credits so by not updating you are losing out on the opportunity to get non-token pro upgrades. I would recommend updating asap for that reason alone. I think the idea is to get you buying tokens for fuel refills. The refill price has actually dropped by around a third in real terms, a $2 token pack will get you three refills whereas 2 refills would have cost you that before. Shameless greed from gameloft, introduce more ways to squeeze money out of you and present it to you as a gift of sorts, like we're so lucky to have so many TLEs available. Jokers.
Well I ain't spending a dime never have never will. I don't really care about the leader board rewards for the MPE I jus wanna achieve the race rewards requirements then I'll do the other events besides I can't really play the MPE cuZ I have a calculus 3 final exam on Monday so I gotta study my ass off this weekend :/ lol
