Wow, I was taking a break from this game... (been playing a lot of Galaxy on Fire 2. Now thats a game that understands how to PROPERLY give IAP options.) They must've wanted me back so bad they rolled out a new update jk Does anyone understand how this new system with pro upgrades works? I literally just downloaded the update and don't really get whats up. Also, Am I the only one who thinks the cars feel faster on the tracks now? Like I actually had to struggle a bit to get good lines with the One:1 on venice Maybe cuz I haven't played in a while
I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was. To max them is my real test, to Pro them is my cause. I will travel across the game, searching far and wide. Each pro kit card to understand, the power that's inside! (Asphalt 8! Gotta pay to win!) It's my wallet and me. I know it's my destiny! (Asphalt 8!) Oh, you're not my best friend. In a game we must pay to win! (Asphalt 8!) A greed so true. Our money will pull us through! You pay them, they won't pay you, AS-PHALT EIGHT! Gotta pay to win, GOTTA PAY TO WIN, Asphalt 8!
Here is how it works dude....get your credit card out and give it a strong work out...that's all there is to it.
As I said elsewhere, I am missing words on how bad this update is. I have more than 20 days of gameplay on this once fantastic and easy to use game. But it got worse and now even complicated to an extend that is beyond of what I am willing to accept. I have to make up my mind over the next few days if I stay and simply go on my maxed cars and not be competitive anymore or if I leave this game completely. To whomever it may concern, I'm deeply, deeply disappointed. Why not take money in the beginning like PS, Xbox or wii and from then on everything is free?
Gameloft could have introduced better looking cars to assuage users from the shock of an unnecessarily convoluted new upgrade system. I mean...some of the cars look like body parts of a Dyson vacuum.
Gameloft has quickly went from being my favourite iOS game company to me absolutely detesting them. First Gangstar Vegas and now this......
In terms of how the new cars look, here's my little tier list. Purely opinion. Good: NSX, 308, Hussarya, Rimac, W12 So-so: DeZir Bad: Lucra, 9FF, Felino KILL IT WITH FIRE: Spada, Trantamontana There's a fair bit of good in there, but the ugly ones offset that. It would have been better if the cars below the good tier were instead cars that are less random,, unusual, and unheard of. I mean, we have the Lamborghini Huracan, Mercedes AMG-GT, Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta and the LaFerrari FXXK, the Challenger/Charger Hellcat, Aston Martin One-77, Shelby GT500 Eleanor, Audi S1, etc. But no, make way for the Trantamontanana and the Condatronca.
Exactly it's bad enough with this token/card system and these ugly ass cars ain't makin it better so far I'm not impressed with them at all...except for the Ferrari it's alright
@ Particularly Totally agree. The two creatures in your Kill it with Fire category are what I had in mind for the Dyson comparison. I would love to see the Laferrari FXXK. A McLaren P1 GTR would be nice as well. But no. GL has to smother us with ugliness. @ The Thing The Ferarri is quite all right . But the ratio of ugly to good (based on Particularly's list) is too balanced.
Oh, Gameloft. Did you learn nothing from MonocleGate? A lesson to all gaming companies? I've given you 190 hours, and if you had told me Asphalt 9 would give me another 200 hours of joy, minus [insert common gripes list] but would cost me $75, I would have gladly paid. If you had any sort of sense, you would have tacked on a subscription fee model for mp, and set that hook in me. Instead, you've squandered all that goodwill by putting the cart in front of the horse. I don't begrudge you the right to get paid -- but I'm not paying for something that becomes less and less enjoyable. And that's the key. A game is supposed to be fun... not an ongoing series of slaps in the face. That's the opposite of fun. The thing you're forgetting? Your cash cows aren't paying to win races. Otherwise, they'd only play single player. They pay to beat guys like me. Guys they can't beat without ups. And when all the guys like me are gone? There won't be any reason to buy ups. RIP A8. Time to move on.
I'm with u on this bro...I'm trying to decide by Friday if I should go on and play....I was already at a disadvantage in terms of my skill level and cars I was getting better too but now I'm at a major disadvantage now. I can't compete with a pro level koeniggsegg one:1 with full items how the hell is that fair? These asshole hackers will jus back to get unlimited tokens did GL think this through ? I started playing CSR racing a few days ago and I really like it so far....I might jus start playing that game more often now instead of A8; this is just rediculous
They are owned by Ubisoft anyway, which probably forced gameloft to nickel and dime us so they can be douchy from PCs to Consoles to Mobile.
Country? It's from Hell... Trantamontanana must be a virus name just like Ebola. Condatronca must be a medieval devil or deity. Gameloft... Gameloft! Terrible day for Gameloft (Asphalt 8 and Brothers in Arms 3).
If you take a glance at those cars, you may note that they bear an uncanny resemblance to the things you described.
