And forgot to mention, u expect us to play a map with 3 laps while the boosters(Nitro Starter & Tuning Kit) are still on 10 & 15 mins respectively??! And while the race rewards are still the same old pathetic crap, 4050 for single lap? Sucks once again
Still can't believe how bad this is. So much time spent on this game, was at the stage that trying to compete in TLEs and against friends ghosts was just about the only enjoyment left. Now the ghosts are set to be ruined, and TLEs will be won by those prepared to pay for the new upgrades. Really cannot understand who this upgrade was aimed at, and I think it has the potential to kill the game. Anyone starting fresh is gonna be so far behind that A10 will probably be released before they can catch up.
It's a cash grab, plain and simple. That's what happens when you have gaming companies turned bean counters.
So, if I'm getting this right, having only read posts and not looked at the update, GL has taken the crappy elements of the game and enhanced them to make them crappier and totally neglected the elements of the game that led to 100 million downloads. As I've said many times before on this board: I detest video games, never played them until A8 because it was fun and not too spacey portals, complicated steps, etc. In the grand scheme of things, this doesn't matter. But as an occasional way to have fun, it's a bummer.
Wtf I was looking forward to this update and now I'm kinda disappointed this whole token-card system is so confusing and now my efforts of maxing my cars to compete in events and have a decent position have been ruined!! Doesn't game loft know that these stupid clans and hackers will hack their way to unlimited tokens?! I bet all their cars will be pro in a day or two just u watch I'm not even gonna bother compete in the mp TLE but I will do the other races and btw that spada car is ugly as hell; also btw does anyone know if the card box u pay 9000 credits once a day do they give out S,A,B,etc cards to upgrade at random without having to pay for tokens or busting my ass in events to earn
There are now two classes of racers us little people with mere maxed out cars and the hackers/cheaters/clans who will hack to get unlimited tokens without paying a dime or lifting a finger. I was really getting good at this game thanks to hectors videos and getting decent not great positions on the leaderboards now because of this I'm pretty much back at a rookie level. From now on all future TLE events will have the top 100,250,500,or even 1000 that are occupied with pro level cars what's next? Is there gonna be an elite level too? Now I'm gonna back to the days of me being at near bottom of the leader boards. Eight months of hard work to get where I'm at in terms of cars that are maxed out and my skill level has been for nothing :'( I'm back at square one. All these hackers will take up all the token awards in the TLE making impossible for honest racers like me impossible to gain tokens and would have to use that stupid pro kit box u buy every 24 hours. I don't even know if I wanna play this game anymore it's gonna take too much time for me to get my cars at pro level the honest way. And why the hell is there two mp cups plus two events it's impossible to be competitive playing two simultaneous mp cups -__-

I'm tempted to play the new track (i don't have a problem with a more fantasy style track and if it's a mix between Dubai and San Diego...i'm fine with that,i like both) but all this BS about the rest of the update prevents me from updating.Shame...
Sure! If the new track isn't a problem for you... You have only three problems: Pro Kits, 11 ugly cars and Token System.
Just got the update, played some MP. I'm certain I'll come to understand the new system, but it is not very intuitive. The only positive I can see is that you can get tokens to refill the fuel bar. Now, I'd rather do away with the fuel bar, but at least there is a way to get around it. That said, to introduce cards and tokens to do what we've already been doing upgrade cars is odd at best. I'm sure it's a money thing, but GL could have kept the current system and just added five more levels to the existing five upgrade levels. I'm testing out the Survolt with the new upgrade system. Don't know how or what I did, but it's up to 1336 ranking. It opens up an entirely new way of creating car configurations, but at what cost? As for the new fantasy track, it's Wii Mario Kart. While leading, I was just waiting to get the blue spike.
you can scratch the"11 ugly cars" for me as well,couldn't care less bout them if the base game would still be intact Unfortunately,that's not the case anymore...

This game has now died twice....hehe... For anyone to pass this off in any other way that deems it helpful is insulting.....hello to old friends and a big ol whatever to GL....
