Yeah tbh I was surprised to see him after the first one never mind getting three, I knocked him down in the first race on the first corner in Barcelona, maybe he thought he'd stick around for some revenge and it backfired lol I have a habit of jumping straight into the next lobby immediately and depending on the field I'm sure half of them haven't even finished the last race, although I guess that's a good thing as they aren't normally the kind of players you can get much points from anyway. I'm using a maxed TTS or survolt now and unfortunately any more than 1-2 points per race seems to be hard to come by. Dunno if I have the time or motivation to shoot for a high ranking although I have very little else to do these days with the cars maxed and the f'ing fuel system in TLEs!

Thank you nemesis, you were faster on that one. Maybe you tripled shortly before the answer. ## The airspeed technique is something I took from racing your ghosts. I could easily keep up to the point where you hit a ramp but from then on you would leave me in the dust. These are the key sections on each map where you either gain or loose speed. It takes some practice and patience to nail the jumps each and every time.
I jus wasted my money maxing out my Mini Cooper to try and get a better time than my mito gta in the d class cup and I'm doing worse! How are people getting 1:13:xxx in a stinking Mini Cooper ?! I'm bout to get kicked out the top 1500
I'm not, technically. I just read through the posts sometimes, since they're open for the public to see. And I think the group is very entertaining — it has some interesting characters, and the two major Android clans that post there (ReV and RpM) seem to have much higher moral standards than all those cheater clans we have to deal with on iOS. (As someone who isn't exactly a Google fan, I can still appreciate that the grass actually seems greener on their side of the fence for once.)
I learnt all my tricks and routes through playing mp. Back then I had never raced a ghost or watched a video, I worked it out through racing those that we're better than me and working out how they gained speed and nitro..PE was my first Game Center friend and enjoyed racing his ghosts when season 9 came out. The trouble is I am not a perfectionist and you and Dave have been putting up some times that I can't beat. I am going back to mp as I really enjoyed it the other day. The TLE s are leaving me slightly bored now there is nothing worth winning.. If you w ant to race Survolts let me know
All this. It's kind of funny starting all over because I remember what I loved about the game. The TLE prizes are so pedestrian (nyuk nyuk) that they're not even worth chasing. MP, otoh... I think what I love best is that MP is a zero sum game. When you race the clock? You're not actively fighting someone. You get in a good mp race, and you are abruptly reminded that two objects cannot occupy the same space. Man, I hit that ramp up on SD (to the cargo containers where it narrows before the hanging container jump onto the carrier) with another car... i get ALL KINDS OF EXCITED. Because I know it's about to be on. Someone is getting thrown off off the edge or smashed into a container. And I'm about to make sure it isn't me. And, oh, I laaaaauuuuugh when it isn't. And if it is? I'm chasing that $^*@#! down and getting even. Its dirty and nasty in a way that racing a clock will never be (for me).
I just had a running battle with Saulo O, it was 4-2 to me in the end and I managed to win from behind. I was pleased that he came back for more to allow me to get my revenge before he chickened out
I've seen Saulo alot on the TLE leaderboard he's a damn good racer and he only be using single tank! In the c class cup he has a time of 1:14:4xx like damn! I wonder how he does it...
His lines are near perfect, even in multiplayer, and I know he hates cheats. He and Latshki are always in the top 100 unboosted, I think they do it to set them selves apart from the triple tanked clan, and have to be fully respected for that.
Yes he is very good but now won't race me at all, he even leaves the room when I enter and he is first in the room, I am not that scary, surely.
Hey kj I noticed ur time to be 1:15:xxx and was wondering how u did it...cuZ my best time is 1:17:088 :/ I have a feeling it's that initial S turn in the beginning that's critical which determines the outcome of the race or is there other factors?
Yes, the first s is key tight and early and then a really low and fast barrel of that curved ramp. If possible two flats of the next ramp . Go as if you want to go through the tunnel but after the big post steer hard left and jump on the left path take blue bottle one flat of ramp early and tight drift jump on bridge house triple on roof, triple to left curved ramp one low barrel triple to finish take the bottles, that's about it. Hope that helped.
