Retired?? Already?? Yeah right! I haven't had much time lately to have a long stream session but possibly on Saturday I'll be able to! But I've obviously been playing still because I'm getting close to the top 100 in MP! (Even though it's not that difficult anymore).
Hi spear, welcome to the forum I also used a tuning kit to pass it the first time around but I just had a run at it now after seeing your post and got the time below, even with quite a few mistakes. There are various moves and routes you can use, like was already mentioned a little wiggle drift at the start to get you enough to knockdown 1 or 2 AI before the first corner helps get you going. I found this video from ChineseTastes quite helpful when it came to doing Barcelona in a car below S or A class a while back: http://youtu.be/Bjz_O7pufpo this is just an example of some of the stuff you can do to keep nitro up as much as possible. After the first two corners tho you could try to drop off the edge of the road and collect the 5 blue bottles instead of all of the barrels in the video, but some of the other stuff you could try to mess around with and see what you can and can't get away with. I guess I'll keep farming for better cars then, cause I don't have a life _____________________________________________________________________________________________ I honestly don't understand those who use all 3 boosters in the new 'Affordable Cars Challenge' like seriously I have Sarah D. in my leaderboard (UK) and she uses all 3 boosters come on I could farm those credits within 11 minutes. And to get the Nitro Starter you can run unboosted and just come 1st, simple. I don't get it, at all just illogical
That affordable car cup is the worst I've seen in a long time, 3 days for basically nothing in prizes. You get more for 5 stars on season 9 on your daily bonus. Very disappointed with it after what I have to admit has been a pretty good week of TLEs.
Hey SlightReturn, try the following configuration for the upgrades on the CTS-V: 5_3_4_3, which comes out to a rank of 1376 out of 1454. At that rank, I win most MP races unless a wild Biome appears at rare times; and even when faced against a Biome, I still win if the Biome driver can't tame that floating blob of a car. I don't even have 50 tanks — I think. Don't have an iOS device with me right now, so I can't check. Nemesis, on the other hand, had mentioned making it a point to get to 50 tanks (and since then, beyond), so my money's on him. If Gameloft ever starts doing anything about the cheating, I hope Nemesis won't end up as a false positive in their cheater filter. Gameloft has been known to throw out the baby with the bath water occasionally. Just ask Juan Enrique and, uh, yourself about that. Now, now. They do have two purposes, at least for me: - Knocking down a lot of cars can be fun, depending on what mood you're in. - If you don't feel like dealing with traffic (I never do), but still want to a farm a little, those events are an OK compromise. They pay less than season 9 events, but you can win the Metal events even while you're asleep

Zing! I wasn't trying to knock him down. All I wanted to do is redecorate his roof. Seriously though, when did it become not OK to knock people down? Yes, I know there are those who think it's OK to knock down strangers, while knocking down friends is a no-no. But I'll never understand that. Shouldn't it be especially OK to fight tooth and nails between friends? I remember a couple of occasions where friends knocked me down very vividly, and it always served me as a "I'll get you for this" kind of motivation. In other words, for me, it was part of the game's appeal. You came back to play because there were scores to settle. And I have a feeling it was the same for some of those friends. BeaArthursGhost and I even discussed one of those occasions in this thread, if I remember correctly. Incidentally, that's another aspect of the game that's been largely destroyed by the clan clones. They aren't really interested in racing. Instead, they start avoiding you as soon as you've demonstrated you're a threat to their guaranteed wins in their magic mid-level upgrades cars. Anyway, just in case Jorge is still reading along here: I still maintain that those two knockdowns were accidents of sorts. The first time, I had nowhere else to jump, because the road was pretty narrow there. (That's why you jump there in the first place — to make sure nobody else lands on your roof.) And the second time was similar, although jumping on someone's roof is part of the appeal of going that route as well. But I sure didn't expect the victim to be Jorge again. Oh well, he got his revenge. He started driving the wrong way and managed to knock me down once. (Luckily, I managed to avoid him the second time, or I might have lost the race.) In my book, that gives me justification for about 345082 more knockdowns.
I am so not going to invest a double tank in the Regional Event as top 10 is credits and top 50 the tank. On my last lap I accidentally ran into Top 10 single tanked although there was still room to cut some time off. Does anyone know what's the best possible time on Alps with single tanked Silver lightning? Currently I sit on 10th with 53.361, is 52.9xx possible?
Has anyone noticed that the SD (forward) glitch is easier to pull off with certain cars? While it's almost automatic in the Pagani Huayra, it's more of a crap shoot (for me) in the Hennessey. And, seems like the earlier tracks didn't have these glitches. Is that because SD was rushed, GL doesn't care as much, low quality assurance, etc? Seems like the sweet spot is right about at that pole lining the bridge.
Could you possibly refer to a video where the glitch is implemented? I don't know what it is at all thanks
I've noticed that too, I tried it a few times in the survolt in multiplayer and it didn't work out, but tried it again in the one:1 and it worked fine as normal. I agree with you to some extent on the later maps being sloppier. The only thing I would say kinda in GLs defence is that I've found most DLC on any game I've played to be the same. I guess they just don't have the time and resources to commit to it like they would have had before the game was released and they have all sorts of other crap to deal with like multiplayer issues and TLEs clearing out cheaters etc. http://youtu.be/aMR41TKInA0 There you go victor! It is easier to execute if you drift/nitro quickly as the key is getting enough of a right turn made, but it is definitely slower. It cost me winning the one:1 having to do it that way as I only missed out by 0.033 doing it the drift/nitro slower way. And yes to all you who have heard me moan about this a hundred times, I am still bitter about that tournament lol

Thanks for the link I know it, I just got really confused between different maps and such (I need to get used to the abbreviations used in this forum ) By the way, I tried to do it but I've succeeded only 5 out of a million attempts :/ I couldn't seem to get it right in the K1 cup, but if I did I would have won the car. I hope they give it away again or discount or something... Anyways, I can't always get the glitch to work because it takes me back sometimes and it's really annoying But hey, on the bright side, I'm learning fast with the help of you guys on the forum and Hector (who I discovered on YT) so, to all of you A BIG THANK YOU
Seriously, they need to get a little more creative with the TLE's. It's not hard. Just stop doing Class events and make them car specific. Right now, if you don't have the One1, Biome, or Mustang, you've got no chance. And even people that do have those cares are tired of having to use them all the time. There's like 80 cars in the game, and 75 of them are useless in TLE's. I want a Survolt TLE, Sesto TLE, Veneno TLE, LaFerrari TLE, and so on. But I'd settle for just about anything that doesn't require the same cars we always use.
