Very nice as always, I expect that you'll be on No1 spot by the end of the tourney.

That was actually a really good run! I didn't to the triple-to-perfect for the start, but I guess it could help. You don't need it though.
Only changes I would make are after the first yellow and after the last barrel. They are only little things, but they will shave the extra milliseconds. After the first yellow, stay a bit closer to the left wall before crossing over to the snowy slope.
If you look at the following video, at 30 seconds, you'll see what I mean.:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7Tm8HL1iYQ
Pretty much, aim to keep your left tires on the snow for that little bit.

Then as you are jumping the last barrel roll, aim for the light posts on the right then make a straight line to the blue. check out 1.08 minutes on the video to see what I mean.

That should shave enough to get you a faster time

Yeah I got 57:3 or 57:4 with my tank the other day every attempt for 4 hours lol, it is straightforward enough, dunno if I'll bother using another as it should hold, I've seen they're doing an awful lot of cleaning out today, I went up 1 place earlier and 80 places in the apex. I've tried that fall quite a lot with other cars but it doesn't seem to gain time, must be taking you too wide or something.

I hadn't upgraded my CTS-V on my game, so I gave it a shot. I played 5 races and got ran over by maxed Survolts 4 out of 5 times. It competes well in the race, but if it's going to get run over by Survolts more often than not, it won't work for me. Darn, I was really hoping it would work too, because I'm tired of racing the Mini. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Sorry for taking you out earlier but the survolt next to you pushed me into you. If you want to run un boosted then there really aren't any options

No problem, I knew it wasn't your fault. I knew you were coming through but I got sandwiched in there anyways. I got screwed later in that race too because somebody crashed right in my line up a ramp, got knocked out again and spawned in a bad place. Somehow I still managed to get 3rd though.

That's the problem with the maxed Survolt, and anything around that rating. You're going to run into a lot of people using boosts. I really wish I could dial mine back to where my gf's is. That's some fun, unboosted racing. I can't find a car that will compete there anymore though, so I've basically said screw ranking, I'm just gonna race the cars I want to race because running the Mini all the time has gotten boring (and you run up against even more boosts with that anyways).

So, thanks to the tournaments, I farmed up enough credits to get the Savage GTR. Should I keep farming for the One:1, or should I stop there? And if I should get the Savage, is it a better idea to make it MP-viable or max it for tournaments? I think I should do the former because I already have a maxed P1.

Also, one more rant about IAP cars. I haven't completed season 8 yet, so I wanted to farm credits while doing so. However, once I did all the default races, I didn't get the achievement for getting all the stars. I decided to go through the China-and-beyond races and see if they count now. I suppose they do. There were two races I couldn't finish. One for the Nismo, which I should be able to buy... and one for the Aero.
    What. The heck. Gameloft.
I remember once about a forum user saying that there will not be any IAP that will hinder or block progress if not purchased. And now, I can't get the achievement for season 8 because you either forgot about IAP car and season interactions, or you are enforcing IAP way too much.

I think, having already maxed the P1, you should go for the K1 since it is King of mp. Also Christmas is coming up so, if you go for the K1 (which I recommend and am doing right now, cause I'm in the same exact situation :D ) I would expect several discounts on cars so don't buy the K1 even if you got the creds cause at a discount it will (hopefully) be worth it :)

Yes, I can't complete some races cause of IAP :( sucks, yea
I would think that they are doing this because (either they forgot :D or) they make cups to win these cars, allowing only winners to complete such races rot finish seasons. Maybe they're trying to make it a more progressive game so that people spend more time on it. idk, just a thought

It's all about the barrels I think, and a clean big corner, although I hit the wall after that corner in my 47:9 on my first attempt. The first barrel you need low air time and then you need to land on the bridge and triple off it on the second. If you get those right the time is much lower, the first one is more difficult than it looks tbh, I've struggled with it a little. If you're on double tank you can miss it completely.

I do it perfectly no crashing I use as much nitro as I can. Maybe my drifting in the first sharp turn is affecting my time also the barrel roll is kinda high cuZ when I try to go very low I end up crashing in the bridge. Also I noticed u used the barrel roll in the beginning of the race...I didn't do that

How many seconds of air time is acceptable? I think my barrel roll after the sharp turn was between 2.5-3.0 seconds I don't remember when I land its on the road Is that too high?

I always use the green box on the left as a reference to start my drift, try to do the same starting point and drift distance in quick race mode over and over again. I learned from my last session that it's better to slightly hit the wall before the big turn like I did in the video, that gives you better nitro timing. I had a no touch, low barrels good drifts run and thought I might be close to low 47 but came up 47.8xx because I ran out of nitro before the last turn.

If you want to hear the nitro and drift action sounds I can post another vid without music.

You need the bottles after the first big turn or hit many items on the way to the next shortcut barrel. My barrel times are 1.32 and 2.35 In the video. My best on the second barrel I had a 1.93 with a touch down on the higher road.

Oh Dave you came back! Good one, you think 46 is possible? I'm so indecisive on using a DT.

Yeah it's too high, in this car I think my best so far is 1.66s landing very early on the bridge and getting a triple nitro. You can get away with higher but much over 2.0s and you're in trouble lap time wise.

I had to use one to be safe in skill vs speed and got 57:2xx for 7th on my first attempt so doing the apex now while the tank is on. Still not doing great at it, on 47:4 I think without landing on the bridge.

Are u talking about the very first barrel roll in the race? Cuz I don't use it I hit the AI to get extra nitro

No that's the bridge landing one I'm talking about. The first one you wanna be getting close to 1s, certainly less than 1.5s. If you can manage to get past without using the first one then go ahead but I thought it might affect your nitro later, I guess I haven't tried it in this car yet single tanked.

    Thank you Hector.

I should have checked and maybe given it another shot in Dubai, finished on magic 101, damn! But hey 6 races with silver lightning, season 9 in 6 minutes and I have those 2 tuning kits!
