What is your division like? I decided not to join until tomorrow as I think the first couple of divisions always fill with Chinese clans. Shame it's only 1 tank, 2 would be good as at least you could actually gain, this use 1 to win 1 crap is a terrible top prize! Embarrassingly bad on GLs part really.
Right now I'm 31st and so far not too bad only fell a few positions in the last hour the top 15 are clan members
I also see a ton of Chinese clan members in the top 50, this is becoming a joke There's no point in A8 if GL stays unresponsive to such serious cases. I remember being 6th in the Savage GTR Cup (not MP) and there were 2 Chinese in front of me with 1:07:xxx and I was like because I spent 2 double tanks, 12 tuning kits and 12 nitro starters, only to find out that those clans have millions to spare. They probably have some fuel hack or that tool thing that Dave mentioned. And for regional events, how can they change countries if A8 limits it to 1 change? I saw a YouTube video a while back of a hacker who had almost a billion credits and he hacked it to where he can buy a double tank for 1 credit!
That's kind of thing still exists unfortunately. If I was a hacker, I'd use it for the offline races, as I really hate grinding, especially in a game that's supposed to be fun. It's a shame that people pay hundos for this stuff and someone hacks it in less than an hour and gets it all for free...
TOOLS ASSISTED SPEEDRUN, sounds very similar to controllers that you can use that have a slow motion feature. I was told by a computer tech that if you jailbreak your device you can use a play station controller with the slo mo feature on asphalt 8. Now I remember the days of the original play stations and playing tomb raider and I bought an advanced remote with slo mo feature. I was able to slow the action to 1/100th of the original speed. (Some maneuvers I just could not do at reg speed). So the computer guys telling me that they are still around and adaptable to play on A8. He was pretty knowledgable and explained to me that there are teams (clans) who use the slo mo controller to run perfect laps. He said they can slow it down to the point where a lap could be slowed down to a point where it would take upwards of 30 mins to complete, but when the lap finished it would be divided back by the amount it was slowed down initially. So if you were running the lap at 1/100 speed and it took you 90 mins to meticulously do the lap once you were done it would be converted to a 54 sec lap. I checked the math and it does make sense. If this is what the clans are using then it's completely disgusting to me. Even if they slow it down 1/10 speed it's a tremendous advantage. A 300mph car would be running at 30mph, I think we all could make perfect laps under these conditions. It's totally unfair, but I don't know how Gameloft could do anything about it.

I drive a VW transporter. Although I always used to run fast Audis but my kitesurfing kit didn't fit in cars easily and my speed thrills are now supplied out at sea rather than on the road.

Question, which I suspect I know the answer to Is there any way to share account information across platforms? I'm an android player but I just got an MS Surface which will be my new primary tablet. Even though both are linked to my FB account I started at ground zero. Any option besides Bluestacks?
I did send the customer support an email, not about the file sharing tbh but about this TAS thing, like Heisenberg said (sorry dude it's too awkward to spell it out correctly with the s lol) I'm not sure how they can identify it as it doesn't appear to be modifying the game itself, just the control system. That's why I'm not too excited about the response below! Have to say I'm really disappointed with this latest development, like I said before it seems like a step too far, all the other things I can live with as you still need to put the laps together at the end of the day, but this even takes that away from it. Coupled with the stingy rewards system in place it just makes the TLEs completely meaningless.

For Zombies 2000 was not a real problem. I deceided to sleep at night and with only 2/3 of the 24h I wasn't able to manage it. Esp. as one received only 8 points for a victory above 1900 points. LOL! But for 2 tuning kits, I don't care.
O'er here in Canada we've got a 2 day Alps cup where top 60 get a Testarossa. Seems great, until you realize that it's D-class. Is it reasonable to attempt to get the Testarossa despite the disadvantage I'm at with the Nissan, as well as my lack of extra tanks, and the fact that Chinese players will probably infiltrate it?
