My sens is currently 63 upwards to 80, somewhat dependant on car, but on my Nokia anything above 80 would overstear 1.3+ handeling cars at every turn. As for camera, as I try to play my game, and doing my best, competitors movements isnt that important to look at, I could surely try close/fixed. The fact is, I feel lost if I dont use action view I was considering it, but I think plenty of players are going for those bottles, from the look at top 50 times(.88s range between #1 and #50 atm. top 6-7 to 50 is like .6) If you feel confident you can make at least more then one clean run, I'd say go for it. Me self, do not have skills to compeet in such a tight field, not even able to make one run without only slight errors
Not one single tank time left in the top 100 of either the jaguar or the GTR Alps cups lol. I can understand the jaguar one to some extent as top 50 get 2 more tanks but the Alps one is just ridiculous, all for 2 tuning kits lol.
Windows means you are using a PC or windows based phone or tablet? If you are using a PC you need to try a controller! Back in the days with NFS Porsche on PC, I couldn't finish all tasks the game had set for me, so I connected a controller and it was like taking both feet of the brakes!!!
Come on Gameloft, again Venice B-class? It is not even e week we had this competition! The ugly biome again. You only changed the name! If you fail at remembering it was Asphalts 10th Anniversary Cup! Please do not give us competitions where one can choose the car! Just create some events, where you have to use a certain car! If you don't have the car you get 10 free rides per day! How many cars are there In the game? 7What? That should keep us busy for a while!
All of those clan guys receive infinite extra tanks for free. They don't care about "wasting" them, as they don't need to manage them like honest players.
No kidding!! I bet most of them don't even notice or care about the rewards. I mean,they have all the cars and unlimited boosters. The rewards these days are paltry even for honest players.
I agree.. what are our chances to beat these clans.. why not isolate them and let them compete each other.. and separate honest players so we can enjoy the game.
It's Dejavu all over again. Another Venice Biome Cup? I'm getting bored and Gamelofts running out of ideas? Plus it seems everything's at least two days now and nothing costs a single fuel any longer. Seems like the only 24 hr event is the Apex Wednesday event. Thanks for the feedback guys on the camera views and sensitivity settings. I'm surprised at the results though. From looking at various YouTube vids I thought most drivers use the fixed or close views. From what you guys are saying it sounds like Action is the favorite. Does anyone know how some drivers get the car to seem to elevate up and down in mid flight on a jump? Don't know if anyone else has had this experience but it has happened to me many times. I'm airborne and I see the guy directly behind me seem to lift his car up higher than he was, it's not a steady ascent but like a waffling up and down, but when they time it right they crush you. Now I thought maybe they tilt the iPad front to back or something, but I tried it and it does nothing. When your behind a guy you can really notice it even better, the car continues in it's forward motion but at the same time it will go straight up a few feet and then down a couple etc. Just curious.
That is why this game is going to the dogs. Good honest players have to try and stand out by entering cups without double tanks and getting amongst the clans. The rewards are mostly a joke, I mean whats the point in giving out 2 cars in a worldwide cup??? anyone that needs the car has zero chance of winning it so why bother trying?? I have kept my interest up by setting my own challenges, getting over 50 double tanks, beating un boosted ghosts etc. and using the MPTLE as source of racing fun (i actually got to race my one 1 against some equal competition which was great). Multiplayer is dead and the TLEs a re pointless.
Agree completely on the TLEs, they are getting very boring and not having new ones daily is a bad move by GL as far as I'm concerned. You would think they would be trying harder to keep players, especially given that their game is well over a year old which is a long lifespan for any game these days, yet most of their decisions appear to be geared towards achieving the exact opposite. It does seem really strange to me how they operate, I guess they just know they have a really popular game and are determined to milk it for all it's worth, I would imagine they have found that people spend more on tanks etc on day 2 or 3 and it must be based on something like that. I've actually started to get a bit loose with how I spend my tanks lately as there seems to be less and less worth keeping them for, I suppose if they do run out and some really good TLE comes along then paying £1.49 once or twice every few weeks is not so bad. Funnily enough I don't really mind the small IAPs like tanks and double credits, the company has to make some money and I can respect that to an extent, I've spent more than I probably needed to on double credits as I played catch up having only got the game less than 4 months ago, but I won't be doing it any more now that I'm almost fully maxed. The cars are a whole different story though, even on offer last week I couldn't bring myself to buy any even though I'd really like to own the mustang and the mc12. Having said that about the tanks tho I do need to get back to playing the weekend TLEs as I've tailed off a bit lately and I don't appear to be good enough to make the fastest lap cups pay. Just another note on the camera view, I used action for a long time but like I mentioned before I have been using a lot of close lately, and like you it has come from watching some of the top players videos. I have gotten really comfortable on it in only a week or so, there are some parts of it I can definitely see are benefitting me already. There are a few issues I have with it too but that should fade with experience and I think I'm gonna stick with it for the time being at least. I've seen that up and down thing too, I assumed it was like some of the blinking stuff you get on MP where what you are seeing is not necessarily what the player controlling it is seeing. It's too dramatic an effect not to have at least done it by accident a few times myself so I have to conclude that it's a connection based illusion.
I'm playing on phone and I achieve rather good times, but there is always a gap to the top. As I saw all the videos of top times on youtube I always remarked that the guys are using steering by tabbing on the screen while I tilt my device. I thought already in the past that it might be the difference, as I am stuck improoving my times. But I'm used to that way of steering now. With the other method I would start on noob level again To your other question: Manual sync between devices works very fast and good.
They did that type of car cup in the past already - one for each car. I loved that much. GL make such cups again instead of those D,C,B,A,S car cups. In principle present are only 300Z/Mustang; Exige/S-Type; Biome; P1/Savage; K1 cups. With all other cars you have no chance. Thus: Current D-cup: Thumb up, as it is limited to only 4 D-class cars (although limitation to Scion would be sufficient) Venice cup: thumb down
Agree. I also stop MP world rank now. I was place 8 and just overtaken by 3 russian guys making 50 points per day. TOP 1 is already over 6000. If top 3 see my name they skip, guess why. Sorry, mp is just only a point grind feast for people which can play 10h per day. With TLE's I'm always wondering why people do this (except for a car or extra tank). I'm pretty shure that you are able to make the 200k for Savage cup in less time in mp. There you have no risk not to be TOP5 (LOL), you can choose car, elect track and you are not forced to play each 1,5h
Since all the cars are unlocked and we haven't heard of an update recently at all, I'm think that Gameloft is done with this game for the most part. Only because I feel like they are very close to announcing Asphalt 9.
I don't think we are totally done! There might still be a bit left because this hacker has two more achievements and more cars!
Maybe I just never noticed it, but San Diego Reverse is now in the MP rotation and, yes, a certain time-saving sector still works. In terms of TLEs, I just take one or two runs and get out, never waste an extra tank. Been spending most of my time running MP on my daughter's iPad (rascal3332), which has been kind of fun. And been trying Twitch to keep things interesting (and to show the world how to crash at just about every corner).
