I have to agree and disagree with the IAP things. Before you call me an heretic, here's my point: A8 never really shoved you with little features that required you to pay for those, and the game was completable w/o the use of IAP. Was. Now the game enforces you to buy cars with real money. RR3 has a lot of those features you have to pay, but they're very generous with the amount of premium credits at first. You just have to plan their use accordingly (if anyone still plays RR3, remember the event for the R8 Roadster? I won the car just by doing smart upgrades and planning ahead, even though I just had finished the Amateur series of races) Also for you and DarkSolid: YOU GET A WELCOME! YOU GET A WELCOME! EVERYONE GETS A WELCOME! Well, the Rivale GTR still has an edge on some maps, even with a single tank. For example, Tokyo Reverse, where the first nitro bottle isn't too far from the starting line. I agree. Even though it is "impossible" to leave the lobby after 4 players join in, it's still a good thing that they hid the car name. On to another subject, I have discovered the best setup for the Biome if anyone is interested. It's quite fast (top speed and top nitro speed combined are exactly the same as the Survolt's top speed and top nitro speed combined, and they have the exact same acceleration stat-wise), and it somewhat keeps the original smoothness of the Biome. All that for 3-8 rank points higher than the Survolt's. I was choosing the upgrades thinking that it would keep up with the Survolts and give me a fair fight. I have never been more wrong in my entire life

Have quite a lot unboosted atm and some I'm quite pleased with too and it's always good to see a few others times Just talking about ghosts, I removed the Facebook link from my A8 weeks ago (people at work making comments on my A8 activity log that I'm supposed to be working was the dealbreaker lol) but someone added me yesterday on there and I'm getting ghost challenges from them today, it must keep some link there even though I've disconnected it. Has anyone else come across anything similar?
From the "For What It's Worth" file, today is the first time in a long time that the U.S. leaderboard (SD TLE) didn't fill up with loads and loads of clan members ... yet. Usually you go to sleep in the top 10 and wake up 150th. And, yes, the P1 seems to be king ATM.
Yea, this is really nice! Though you never know if they are waiting to steal the top spots at the very end (not that it really matters here though, top 300 gets the award.) But on another note, looks like the savage took the lead. Beat me by almost .2 seconds with double tank. Another savage is just behind me .01 seconds away. I think, as someone else has mentioned, the savage is pretty much as the top with the double tank, but the P1 is still the fastest untanked.
I gather not a ton of people have the Savage (I didn't win one)? And, so odd GL would again use a glitch track for a TLE. I'm thinking A8 is extremely low priority for GL. If you posted a low 52, I think that's a very nice lap. It's so nice not to have to run the extra tank.
I need an S car. Little background info: 550~ stars, just got season 8 access. No cars upgraded beyond 1 but I own the 370Z, exige s, 458 italia, and sesto elemento. I know what you're thinking, season 8 and I don't own a S car? I just did as many races as I could to get better rewards. I'm not sure where to invest. I have 380k I could buy something now or keep saving. I could get season 9 and farm on the 370z for a lykan? Or save all the way for a tuatara, but the upgrade scene is as much as a K1. I could just grab the veveno, gta spano, fxx or Bugatti while I get more stars. The pagani could be satisfying. Tips?
I was told by hectorx that the 550k Lykan is a very competitive one to start with, so try and save up for that. Avoid the Agera R at all costs, don't make the same mistake as I did XD Also, a great choice would be the Veneno because, for some reason, it always seems to beat other cars in many season 7&8 races. I know I'm not an expert, but I read a few forums when I was looking for one myself, and that's what came up I wish you the best of luck
The Lykan is definitely the one to choose between those two, but I'd go for the Veneno to get started in S Class. The Veneno is dirt cheap (including full upgrades), and it will win basically any season 7/8 S Class race, so you can earn your money back easily on it while working up to the Lykan.
Took a stab at the Road Masters cup again today, and this is what happened. I do a run. Wreck during the cave part. Finish that race and try again. I get to the screen with the boosts and hit start race. The game was taking a long time to spend the fuel and start the event, so I go back to the garage and try again. I get an error when I hit start race. I try to enter the event yet again, and get an error. Then I try again... again, and I only have 1 fuel bar, so I can't play the event. This should be addressed.
Welcome to the forum dude I got through most of the seasons with the spano I got in the starter pack, I think the second one I bought was the tuatara when it was on discount at the 1 year anniversary. Upgrades took me by surprise though, if I had to do it again I'd get the Lykan as you can buy and fully upgrade for <1m credits and it is definitely the closest cost effective challenger to the super expensive S class cars. Unfortunately its S9 map is on tokyo so it's not great for farming credits, I also did the 370Z a lot when S9 was released as it was the only max car I had. One thing I did when I was around your level was make a note of which cars unlock the most maps and basically bought them in that order, and tried to only play one new map per day using my daily boost, with 5 stars you really maximise the credits doing that. But ultimately you are going to need the best car in each class maxed to be able to compete in the TLEs. I was already on season 9 before I ever looked at the events so I missed out on a lot of the basic prizes which would have been a good little top up as I went along had I realised they were there. Lastly, if you are super keen to get credits there was one thing I did to boost mine for a couple of weeks during spells in work where I wasn't really up to much but couldn't quite get away with playing properly. I let the season 8 S class Alps elimination map run in the background over and over, you get the 15 seconds warm up then 30 seconds to get eliminated, and you get a participation medal worth 1455 credits or something like that. I didn't really do it much as it was a pain in the ass but I needed credits fast to take advantage of some offers during that 1 year anniversary week. Still wish I'd gotten the venom that week at 1.2m, I reached it just before the time ran out and decided to max a couple of cars instead, only to pay 3m for it anyway a few weeks later lol. I get that a lot, usually when I'm in the farthest room in the house from my wifi router, really annoying wasting fuel and boosts then waiting 90 mins to try again! Edit: meant to say to keep it down to losing minimum fuel, once you realise it is happening close the app completely then restart and it should be fine, that way you only lose one attempt.

Season 9 Huayra Ghost I've been racing against my own ghost for a while now (best time is 54:691 unboosted) and for a while I started in front of the ghost at the start. I then beat the ghost. And from now on, I start behind my new ghost. It is almost impossible to beat a ghost starting behind it since I gave it pretty much my best shot earlier and also because of how the cars are positioned. When I started in front of the ghost, I would hit the nitro as soon as the race started and knock out the yellow huayra from behind and the green? one from the side with 5 knockdowns total and immediately picking up the first blue bottle which would hopefully take me all the way to the second blue bottle and got into a good rhythm there. With the new grid, it is impossible to knock down any of the AI's with perfect nitro at the start as they are too far away. My ghost is now in the position where I should have been. Anyone else have this problem?
Which map is this? It sounds a bit like Alps... I had the same in S9 with the RUF 12S in Dubai. You see, GL has to work on a lot of things in this game, including issues like these, but idk GL seems to be unresponsive... I think that's the only issue :/
If you notice, the ghost slows down the first 2 seconds so then you're even, but I see what you mean (about hitting the cars in front to gain nitro and the bottles :/ ). Maybe they're trying to make it harder to beat ghosts idk There's a lot of unanswered Qs about this game, especially the mpTLE... Wish you the best of luck (and skill) against your ghost!
Ugh, the multi-player world rankings have become such a joke. Two of the top 10 players - Serik and playerqwe - are below-average veteran players, and the top 20 is about to greet another mediocre, obsessive exploiter.
