I'm on my second Moga, I hated the first one I got that worked with the iPhone, so I returned it to store. Then they came out with a Moga for iPad, and that's what I'm using now. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. It takes a lot of getting used to and I thought I would have so much tighter control over car, which I don't seem to have. Maybe it will come with practice, maybe it won't. My son who is much more savvy when it comes to gaming tells me it's a cheaply made controller and not worth what I paid for it. He tells me to try and get ps3 to work with my system. I did try but I would need to jailbreak iPad, and I have no clue how to do that. Lol.
I haven't actually bought one yet, was originally looking at the steelseries until kj mentioned you had a moga. Funny you should say about your son's verdict, I thought it looked cheaper than the price tag suggested too. Having said that I've only ever been interested in the playstation controller. I even bought an Xbox a few years ago when the psn was having major difficulties but as soon as they got it sorted the Xbox was promptly sold and the PS3 dusted off, I just couldn't get to love the controller probably more than anything else. I've been thinking of jail breaking to get the PS3 controller connected too, a brief Google search showed that it doesn't appear to be that difficult to do. Problem is that I've already moved to iOS 8 and haven't been too convinced by a lot of the feedback I'm finding on the iOS 8 version of the jailbreak that came out a few weeks back. If I was still on iOS 7 I would do it no problem, I know a few of the guys on here stayed on 7 to keep using that version of the jailbreak until something good comes for 8. You'd probably be interested in the wifi bypass app that some use to fool A8 into thinking you're on wifi and you can actually use your 3/4G to play MP, I'm sure it would be useful in your MP TLE marathons lol!
Hi Dude! First of, the mc12. After using both that and biome in venice tle, I discvored they are about equal in top speed with tunekit 400kph +- 1 So, a maxed mc12 will in most cases not be a contender in tle's unless its a long track with few bottles/jumps, in mp its even worse, as I face off agains much faster A class cars, much like maxed Zonda and above gets murdred by most any S class car. I still stand on my claim that nitro 5 isnt nessesary on the furai, as it has Rivale GTR usage of perfect nitro speed(IE, it burns it within what feels like seconds)Secondly, unless the bottles/jumps are close and I can be max nitro in between, I am always faster through the track then a perfect/nitro 3 survolt/biome, using only nitro 1. This has even though me that other cars with horrible nitro can be driven this way, using nitro1 to stay at faster then stock speed for a much longer period. Acc 5, with handeling 3 I can almost out run perfect nitro survolts, but not biomes from the start line only using nitro1 boost, tho both cars are easely beaten on any track unless they are dual tanks. Atm, my furai is 5-4-3-5. If not boosted it into biome range, its rapes survolts. One last thing about furai handeling, it has in a much less extent the same possibility as biome and onyx to suddenly oversteer. One time I hit a curve to hard and ended up 180 and came to a full stop. So, never underestimate the 1.3+ handeling cars, that property may be used to drive a track somewhat differently and become an advantage. As for the seeming useless Onyx, I've considred if I had the time, to use em on every S class map in the seasons, to get a better understanding of how to best utalize its properties. Like, most people hate the silver lightning, but driving my red lightning, I rarly end below top 3 in mp, and my skills are crap
Still miles off in the biome cup today. I've always been around a second off the pace in Venice anyway but have hit what I thought were some nice laps but still can barely get under 1:24 and am currently miles away from top 100. Not sure even using a tank would help at this stage, holding nitro doesn't seem to be my problem. I've even got the ramps down to minimum air time, must just be losing the racing line too often trying to keep the biome handling under control and off the walls. I even picked up a few tips from the last remaining guy in the top 100 single tanked on a couple of drifts you can use and a strategic wall bump to manage the timing of the perfect run nitro but just don't seem to be able to improve my time. As ever only having a few attempts per hour doesn't help, bloody fuel system is really getting to me lately lol!

Not everyone is racing unboosted, like you do. I don't like that, but you don't hear me complain about your racing style, do you? You say, "it's a great way to manage your nitro", that's true. But I already managed my nitro usage with each car on each map, single or double tanked. So, no, I'm not going to do that. The only thing you do is complain about boosters. I play to win. You're wrong again about TLEs, I've never used (and never will) this account for TLEs. I don't like to take spots and push others of the leaderboard. I also don't want to have more attempts than others, that's just cheating. It's just unbelievable how you're comparing me with those clan members, I don't get that. There was only one race that was done by me on my friends device, Iceland (infected) S class. That was just to piss off a K-b_ member, named Chinesetastes. Because Anonymity.R is a name that was used by this member back in the days. But that was mentioned earlier in this thread, it was Nemesis who asked me I think. When I'm with my friend, I use his device to have fun in MP sometimes. You have disappointed me Bird, too bad. I thought you were a nice guy. Pretty interesting stuff there RB and PE, I saw RBs original post earlier but I didn't really want to comment unless PE had his say which he obviously has now done. I'm still pretty new here but generally enjoy the forum as a good place to chat about the game so I still don't really wish to contribute much to any trouble going on. But I will say that I thought throwing around words like coward was a bit of a cheap shot at someone who has certainly helped me out more than once and comes across as nothing other than a genuine guy and genuine fan of the game, and has said to me privately in the past about not using underhand tactics to win so it isn't exactly news to read the reply above. I personally don't think it was particularly fair to lump PE in with the stuff that goes on with the clans, if I remember right he almost got pushed out of the k1 top 20 at the very end by the same people you are accusing him of being in league with. With regards to the trolling comments, trolling is just a fact of life in online play on any game/platform. It is now so popular that you can literally make money from it, there are loads of guys I remember from my COD days who make quite a lot of cash from advertising on their youtube trolling/griefing channels. Maybe that has changed in the last couple of years since I was active but I doubt it. Even on machinima respawn (I think that's the name anyway, it's been a while) which has a massive following, some of the most popular videos are trolling videos. And let's face it, it can be pretty funny when done well. Obviously being on the receiving end can be a pain in the ass but at the end of the day it's only a game, different people have their fun with it in different ways, there is no solution to have your way all of the time. Your 'spirit of the game' will be different to others interpretation of the same thing no matter what you play, whether it is sports or online games or whatever.
I will only say that the PEs trolling movie made me laugh a lot... though I hate racers who race to wreck others. But I always take it as a good challenge, because it appears to be far tougher to win a race against a double boosted F150 who smashes everyone on he whole map than just a regular race. I had once a race like this where I got knocked down 10 or more times I think. And in the end I just started to think instead of just thoughtlessly taking him over once again just to get smashed seconds later and stayed after him until the very end and knocked him down before the last corner (the track was Barcelona) to claim the victory. This was one of the most satisfactory wins of mine
I agree with your reply except these parts. As for the he has helped a lot part, if he does cheat, then you cannot use that excuse because the Open and Summer vids have helped me too. For the k1 part, he did technically cheat cuz he did get pushed out but he still managed to claim it.
Feel free to talk about that account I've done so often enough on this thread. That account was a separate career, where I started from zero and worked my way through earning all those cars and upgrades once more. And I didn't know back then that using more than one account (on separate devices) was against Gameloft's rules. The same is true for Brigadoonian. You didn't end up with access to the Anonymity.R account quite the same way. Even if your generous friend claims that he earned all of his cars himself, I doubt it's even possible to amass the amount of free tuning kits and extra tanks he has the official way you often have to spend those to earn them back, after all. Does anyone else here have 133 free tuning kits and 82 free extra tanks? That's why I likened that account and the people who use it to clan members like OpenJing. As far as I can tell from watching Twitch streams, they are the only other Asphalt racers that have even remotely comparable amounts of free boosters. You've probably put me on your ignore list by now, like you said you did on Twitch, and you don't owe me a reply anyway, but I still wonder: Do you really believe that your friend's account is legit? If you do believe it is, then we'll have to agree to disagree on that. But if you don't think it's legit, it's kind of disappointing that you would still use it repeatedly. But that's just me most members of the Asphalt community will continue to look up to you. And Gameloft will hopefully find a way some day to ban anyone who uses a cloned account.
I wasn't meaning that as any sort of excuse for anything to be fair, I was just intending to provide a little context for the rest of my comment, although reading it back maybe it didn't quite come across as I had hoped so I see your point. I too have benefitted from summer and open videos but that doesn't mean I agree with their behaviour when it comes to TLEs and how they suck up all the prizes using multiple accounts for unlimited attempts and to enter multiple divisions. Some of those guys are obviously super skilled too but the impact of their shenanigans on other players is too great to really respect. I guess I just see a massive difference between that and clowning around on someone else's account which appears to be all that has happened here. With the prizes on offer in TLEs sometimes having a real cash value and the rewards in MP being negligible at best, I can draw a distinction between the two, and I guess that's why I thought it a little unfair to blur the lines between what I see as two seperate issues. The MP ranking system as far as I see it is not a fair system to begin with anyway and has no real world 'value' so I suppose that's why I'm not bothered about it. I guess those that are have a different opinion on that and that is their choice. With regards to the k1 cup, I don't think you can necessarily say that claiming a prize when it appears is cheating, unless you have cheated to reach that position and are subsequently removed like the last minute clan guys were in that cup. Some of those guys times were appearing up to 2 hours after the cup ended somehow, I dropped from around 30th to 42nd after the cup had ended, but the following Monday after the clean out I moved back to 24th, so I consider that my final position. I think PE made it into the top 10 on the Monday, had he been removed at that stage I could accept the cheating argument but in actual fact his position was strengthened so again I think it's more than a little unfair to level an accusation of cheating there. Like I said originally I wasn't overly keen on getting too involved in this argument and I've already done just that more than I intended to at the outset so I'll not say much or any more on it. I guess I was a little shocked at RBs original post and thought there were some inferences being made that were inaccurate or unfair and I just felt the need to say so.
On a lighter note lol, I see the mirage (zzzzzzz!) cup today is back to regional although the prizes are worse again, only 2k on offer for a non-position prize, not even a nitro starter or another couple of thousand for winning the race or beating a specified time. Also another pay to win setup for using the mustang, though in the uk version the first mustang so far is in 39th last I checked but we're not even an hour in so that will surely change soon. Something tells me the guy leading so far in the pic below isn't in the uk either lol.... Pretty disappointing again on gameloft's part, it really is a shame they are so reluctant to reward people a little better, for such an excellent game they are doing a good job of making certain parts of it a major turn off. The one thing I am reserving judgement on and holding out for is the next round of these might have tanks available for top 250. I think the last ones were tuning kits and today's is nitro so will be interesting to see if it is tanks next, I did ok out of them the last week they gave tanks all week for 250s so hoping to get the same again soon.

Again very clever from gameloft. Another d-class event to make us buy the mustang. Not gonna happen for that amount of real cash. The German leaderboards again are infected with Chinese! I hate this multi/cloned accounts who always change countries to farm the prizes all over the world. That is foul play. I am not racing for the prize, I want to see who is best in my region and see what I can do to get the top spots. We have nirina88 and fredleeqd and GNMLBB or so but I doubt that any of the others is any way near Germany! And Gameloft you are protecting the clan/multiaccount thing with your acting! I just want to do some honest racing and not being laughed at by those who make their own rules and do whatever they want. One little hint removing times from leaderboards only does not solve the problem! I hope in two or three months, when Ryan or Fabian have their next scheduled visit to this forum they have a satisfactory answer! Just kidding! ###
I see you have two cups there in Germany, I've only got one in the UK! I thought about changing my country a while back, maybe even to worldwide, but like you I like the idea of comparing myself against my fellow Brits. Obviously that is not the case atm but hopefully it can be fixed before the life span of A8 comes to an end. It is frustrating when it comes to these division cups seeing the same names you have seen elsewhere under different flags. I actually sent clear proof to gameloft about it a few emails back in my current offensive against their inbox and they got back to me recently saying that they can assure me that there is a fix coming, it actually went as far as saying they can't tell me the exact date but wanted to assure me that it was very soon, although they probably just wanted to stop me sending emails lol. I just set a sloppy time on mirage in the 370z but I don't think its worth spending any more boosts on to improve, 15th so far should hold in the top 50 until the end. Speaking of sloppy times I'm gonna have to try the time trial Iceland again, on the bus to work so I was bashing about all over the place ruining perfect runs and missing bottles and only ended up on 1:28:3xx. Should be able to get into the 1:25s easily enough but again I don't intend to spend much boosts on it as it will just eat into any prizes I get too much. I don't really see the need for it to be 5 days long either, for only 50000 credits it's a bit much.
Lol it is kinda funny that the platform it was designed on and for is the one with the most issues. Still hopeful they will fix a lot of it eventually, despite enjoying my brief foray into the android world when I hassled my friend to install it on his note 4 I think I'm gonna stick with Apple and already have an iPad air lined up to buy from another friend when he upgrades to the air 2. I guess I'm just a sucker for punishment lol!
@eric777 I beat your S9 Tokio RS4 ghost, still working on the Mini which is really good Also bean trying a bit to race delorean Cadillac ATS S9 ghost which may be far from perfect but he is running unboosted with double tank so it is a bit hard at the end to keep up with single tank.
Long time lurker, first time poster. 20 DC, 47 TC, 12 ET. Depends on when you played? I probably had triple digits of all the boosters back when they were series-win prizes. I had close to 100 TC and NS before blowing a ton trying to win the One:1. Anyway, just pointing out that something that may seem ridiculous now could be a leftover from when the game wasn't totally monetized.
