Haha, I just ran into Donkey Y. too. Double tank, nitro starter, and tuning kit and he still ran a 1:21:8xx, and he was definitely crashing and respawning down the track. He crashed near the end of the tunnels and I thought I had the race won, but he reappeared right in front of me beyond the finish line. How can it even be fun racing like that? Where's the challenge?
Unfortunately, crashing is a similar problem to blinking: We see a car's representation crash on our device, but that doesn't necessarily mean the car crashed on the driver's device. It could be a trajectory extrapolation gone bad due to connection issues. I do think that it's highly likely that these guys are cheating, considering how it seems to happen in every race they're in, but it's worth noting that these things are hard to prove. Sometimes, what you see on your device is totally different from what others see on their devices. (Discussing races with people you just raced — e.g., on Twitch — is a great way to find out about these differences.)
@kjOli78: I improved my unboosted ghost time with the Maserati on Barcelona rev. (season 9) as you requested on Twitch. I did 1:16:462, there is still a little bit to improve...
The gran tourismo? I doubt I'll get anywhere close on windows, I'll have a go later. Does anybody here know the timing difference b/w windows and ios/android? I have a rough idea that it varies greatly depending on the map(read the requirement for some clan way back for windows and android side by side don't remember which one) but I have no clue otherwise.
I had a feeling this was the case as I've experienced similar (but not so obvious) playing on PSN in the past.

Might go and see if any of them are in the App Store now actually! http://youtu.be/4chnm06CtQk Not getting too far with the biome on dubai, only on 52:635 so far, think the best single tank is on 52:0xx, my best lap I didn't even get the final blue bottle and spent way too much time in the air on the first barrel. It's kinda funny if you'd told me at the start of the week that biome on dubai and one:1 on SD were coming up I'd have thought I'd be well pleased, but all it has done has made me realise just quite how much the fuel system frustrates me, so many 'nearly' laps in both then having to wait 90 mins to try again. Plus the rewards aren't exactly inspiring. Speaking of rewards after all my moaning about the upgrade cup I actually saved over 400k on A and B class upgrades in the end. Didn't help that I had to spend more than that to get my cars to a level where I maximised the value of the prize but it still saved me in the long run. Damayn you mentioned using your furai at 4-4-4-5, what rank does that leave your car on? I might give it a try, survolt is getting excruciatingly boring in MP although I have switched to the one:1 for the little I've played since Friday past.
Those type of people do not like challenges. They do however enjoy the feeling of dominating you, tho its restricted to their selfish way of life. Just ignore em, or go win phone and see cheaters rarly __________________________________________________________ Btw 327Dave, my 5-3-3-4 furai, won like 6-7 in a row yesterday, and the only way a higher ranked player could beat me, was comming back fully boosted, still, he didnt win by much. I'd say max acc, nitro to 4, the rest you can fine tune to deal with survolts, and the odd biome.
Anyone want to organise a time to meet up on MP and race one:1 s? I am suggesting Saturday between 11 and 1 Saturday. No double tanks. I am also enjoying the racing in the zombiegrinder as the car and track combination makes it a good test of MP skills. I particularly like starting from the back and battling through the start and seem to be able to win from any starting point. It doesn't look like I will win any prizes but for me that's not where the fun is.
I've already put the nitro to 5 unfortunately or I would, sitting at 1-1-1-5 atm, might even try 4-3-3-5 and see where that takes me, the acceleration is good anyway so might get away with it. I'm up for that, at least part of it anyway, the child usually sleeps around that time. I assume you're talking uk time too? I find the MP TLEs reasonably enjoyable to play too, if there was a more tolerable fuel system I think I'd actually quite like them.
Was just having a look at the GTR MP TLE there, Heisenberg comfortably in the top 10 as usual, almost there dude! That turbo guy that some of you know has slipped to 85 after his 6000 point first night madness lol. What's the deal with you guys in this fury team? Do you do time requirements like the clans or is it just a bit of fun?
Hey SlightReturn, I don't get what's fun about it either, how can you feel good about your accomplishments if you didn't earn them. I'm sorry you got screwed by his cheating too, but if am glad you got to see it first hand. I do get what running bird is saying, that's why I point out what happened with KjOli78 and myself in our couple of races. However, DONKEY Y. I'm sure is a cheat, it's not just this competition, but every MPTLE i have been in this guy is in and cheating. Plus as you point out he is a pretty bad driver, if he didn't have the hack to bounce off walls and respawn ahead of you he would come in dead last most times. I get that it's a hard thing to prove, but I don't get how after reporting him numerous times to Gameloft and his blatant disregard for fair play that nothing has been done to remove him. I too, like many of you here enjoy the multi player aspect of the game and agree the only downside is the fuel cost.

I to find that zombie grind fun, and tho I wouldnt even do whats needed to win such a "cheap" car, I'm having fun taking points of real contenders, and getting awsome races. I'll prob buy the GTR, and keep it at a low rank. See if that can get me some interesting fights. First, the reason I dont see a need to take nitro beyond 3, is that the way I drive this car, I'm usually at nitro 1, much more then perfect or tripple. A 5-2-2-3 is prob what I would prefer in hindsight, as I dislike the bioms I face Unfortunately, I've "accidently" upgraded it to 5-4-3-5, and I can tell competition gets harder(More bioms, more boosted cars). Acc is excelent and very fast, but far from lasting like survolt or biome, thats kinda why I wanted acc 5. If you settle for 4, you could do 4-3-2-5. What I love about having speed at 3-4, is that using a kit gives a significant speed boost. Atm, I'm not beyond maxing it(since I'm close anyways) as I should still avoid maxed bioms, and I do believe furai is the faster of the 2.
This birthdayparty mentioned, it better show significant improvement in prices, and hopefully make more prices within reach to others then cheaters, pros, or pay to winners.
I really hope that this isn't the extent of it, whilst the prizes are slightly better than the last few weeks they aren't any better than they were immediately prior to that. I think I picked up here a while back that the gameloft response on prizes was that they are trying to make it more competitive, unfortunately there is nothing remotely competitive about awarding a handful of prizes to the same multiple account users on unlimited extra tanks week after week. The prize structure is terrible, I got pretty wound up about the one:1 paying top 20 only, based on a conservative estimate of 550000 entrants (as tested by someone here posting a super slow time- can't remember who it was) paying only 20 is around 0.003%, even the 5000 player divisions is 0.02% for first place only, it's pretty embarrassing on gameloft's part really.
I did that test with my sons account. Those percentages are pathetic and shows how hard it is to wim anything. It is amazing that people put up with it given how,any people still play.. ZMX Your Great Wall Hyurwa ghost is beaten
Yeah, I would easily have mistaken that for an ordinary TLE, only with a couple of maxed Venoms going whoever is the most skilled... at using multiple accounts and unlimited noob tanks (which would make it even more ordinary). If they want to make it "more competitive", then they probably mean they want it to be more competitive among the dishonest Chinese clans and no one else. Conspiracy theory: GL actually thought up of and created these clans in order to deny anyone the chance of winning cars in TLEs, so that the ridiculous prices of buying and upgrading would sting more, and thus it would push more people towards their equally ridiculous IAPs. This is why the clans never get in trouble despite how unhealthy they are for this game! Gameloft = Illuminati confir- lol. Obviously that horrible theory had a lot of holes, like how there used to be TLEs where a decent percentage of people could get the car, so it was actually possible to win if you were willing to put in some effort, and the fact that GL would have to have spend some time making a bunch of Facebook/YouTube accounts in order to impersonate these "players".
