Get the Lambo Veneno. I'm on eight and its still vey effective. Getting a Bugatti next but the Veneno has served me very well so far. Corvette should be good for a good while with a couple of upgrades. I got F12 pretty soon after it and it is better. On B class, I skipped the GTR and got 458. The acceleration on the GTR seems very good though. Can't remember prices of cars I've bought now but the 73k will get the Veneno and the Veneno will get you a lot closer to a 458. The difference is very minor but basically with fixed you're always looking at the back of the car whereas with close, the camera adapts to wider angles such as when drifting it will shift to rear three quarter view with a wider scale of the environment. It doesn't do that environment shifting in fixed. If you know what I mean. Multiplayer level is just an xp count but it does scale rewards according to level of you and car. There's more factors to it than that such as level of competition and your expected result in order to keep a level playing field but the money does get better the higher you go. Xp and leaderboard position are scaled differently. On cars, upgrade the S4. Acceleration and handling being the best ones for that. The Lotus also will need upgrades but overall its the best I've come across in that class so far. And I've no GTR but it is doing a fair bit of damage to my 458 in ghost races so I'm gonna say its pretty good and upgrades are the best option. About level 2 on upgrades is my average, but upgrade some to level 3, not all. Handling and acceleration seem to be the key ones on all cars. For me at least. Do buy the Veneno. Its great fun and just a complete other level of speed. Its has difficulty to control. But by far the best car for progress in the game. The viper I just bought so don't know really, seems good so far. If I had to pick two in each class, I'd go with Veneno and Bugatti Caddy ATS and Audi S4 SLS and Lotus Citreon and 458 Corvette and F12. That's more or less the pattern I took and I'm halfway through series 8 with no problems. I own 28 cars right now but it those cars above that gave me the cash and progress to get this far quite easily. They were upgraded very gradually as I went along and most are still only 2 upgrade levels, except 458 which I just decided to upgrade handling to max for no real reason. Of course, it'll vary so just use that as a rough guideline.
Technically the 458 is faster. But only top speed. The GT-R has the best acceleration in A8, which is great if you drift your corners. You can quickly flick a drift and then launch yourself out of the drift using nitro and the GTRs acceleration... without ever really slowing down. If you don't drift your corners, the 458 is better, from what I can tell. It's got a much better oversteer which I think owns the GTR's handling. Especially with a few handling upgrades. You'll be able to make most corners without drifting. Typically that would mean a faster corner, but my GTRs nitro-out-of-drift tactic is about as fast The GTR also has a considerably faster nitro than the 458, which can make up for the slower top speed. I don't think the 458 has anything over the GTR, but I've never actually driven it (but I've raced rip's 458 ghosts hundreds of times) and I don't really know how either car is with multiples upgrades.
Hi! Waks... Buy the Lambo Veneno immediately! That car is better than RUF CTR3 See the screenshot from my device! I always defeat the RUF...
I knew you would reply. What happened that you were in time-out? I missed the reason... PS: Welcome back!
Car packs? Are the car packs C & D worth purchasing ? The Audi r8 e-tron seems underpowered, I'm struggling to keep up. I was trying to avoid purchasing too many cars, but I'm not going to advance if I don't.
Depending on what stage you're at in the game. If you're still pretty early and don't have an abundance of C or D cars, I'd say absolutely, having them will make a huge difference. I myself bought none and have 28 cars. If I had bought one of the C or D car packs at the very beginning, I'd have all the cars now. And I'm seriously considering after I finish the game, next half of series 8 to go, of going back, resetting and buying the C pack. Just to see and because I seriously believe its well worth the price. That's not to say they have to be bought but they do make it very easy to attain all cars on a single play through I reckon. The C pack I would personally recommend. Either way, you'll still have to buy cars. If you check my last few posts in post history, it'll give you a guideline of the cars that worked for me to get to series 8 with no grinding and definitely no iap concerns. Note it did work for me but thats not to say it will for everybody.
Interesting, I found with just 1 upgrade level across the board on the e-tron I was able to compete up until right before Season 3. It's been neat seeing the different car purchases everyone has made in their games!
Thanks to all of you for the advice, I'm still on season 2 (and struggling) I thought I would be doing better by now.
Same here! Although I do regret buying the Aston Martin. It hasn't served me well, my other purchases have been good though! Saving for the lotus atm
Very disappointed with the GTRs handling. Acceleration is great, but you need great handling to make the most of it. Eh. I'll probably still get it.
The first time I got my hands on an Asphalt 8 build I really messed up my purchases haha. I'm still learning with the retail launch but I'm definitely being smarter than I was before! I cry a little when I buy cars that don't serve a purpose past one or two races.
Nitro effiency isn't in this game like it was in A7 right? I mean in A7 the Tesla Roadster had the best nitro effiency in the whole game.
I don't think you'll even get close. I have 24 cars and 675 stars, with 4 races still locked in season 8, and 170k in the bank. No IAP or grinding so far (although I've replayed several races trying to get as many stars as possible). Buying some of the cheaper cars will knock off stars, but I need 2.1M to buy every car left--not considering upgrades, which you'll need to beat the highest races--and there aren't anywhere near enough stars remaining to get me close to that. The D pack saves you 120k, the C pack 250k. So anyone who wants all the cars will have to grind a lot, or play a ton of multiplayer.
Nope. I heard about an infinite nitro one but there's no evidence to support it works. Which I'm of course glad about. I also believe this one is being monitored as closely as MC4 and we all know the security and follow up there is excellent so I'm not expecting to see any anytime soon and I'm sure bans and fixes will be put in place if one does make it through.
Asphalt 7 tells me I can get 3000 Asphalt 8 credits for free as a limited time promotion, is that a lot of credits? It says it's only worth 99 cents. How long would it take you to earn that much by racing?
