Alright guys. So to those of you who won the GTR, what's the verdict on nismo v GTR v p1? Which one reigns supreme?
Did some MP with stock 12C and Zonda R. It was better than expected. The opponent's cars were around the same rank as mine so I can't really complain. Might as well use these two as much as possible before GL destroys the matchmaking system even more so that no car will be safe. I'm particularly interested in that Savage GTR. It is yet another threat to the P1, after the Nismo and that Jag. Will the P1 still be viable in A class TLEs? Or will the GTR overthrow the McLaren and reign supreme? Will I actually be obliged to grind another 3 million to keep up?
Also, what is the cost of the savage's speed upgrades (not just the last one, but all of them) I've got 5 speed upgrades handy, so I want to know how much more I need to grind to fully upgrade it.
I tried in Dubai reverse and made easy 48.8xx, with P1 my best time was 49.174... Level 5 speed upgrade cost 511k Fortunately I used 4 free upgrades for this car, and another for C-X75 speed upgrade. So, I save 1.7 millions
Have enjoyed using the onyx today for a few runs, obviously it's pretty redundant due to the faster cars in its class but enjoyed the feel of it nonetheless. Kinda wish I'd played the MP TLE over the weekend for the tanks now instead of the one:1 and super cups, I've flatlined pretty badly in both. I see kj and Zmx are on course for the tanks atm Have thought in the past I'd maybe buy the pack if it was 50%+ off at some stage as I'd like to have the mc12, it's definitely the most 'reasonably' priced of all the packs, but not even sure if I'd bother, would resent all those sharing it even more if I did that. The one I would really like is the Ford Mustang for the TLE value, but at double that price again it's just taking the p*** really. Obviously the one that comes with the aero would be equally useful for TLEs but at £70/$100 well you don't even need a description of what that is. Slightly worried atm about where I'm gonna find my motivation for this game once the last few cars are maxed, can't seem to get into MP no matter how hard I try and the fuel refill makes the TLEs hard to love also.
Hey Dave, you were so slow you couldn't watch the action for first place, couldn't you? Too bad you weren't on boosts it probably would have been fun racing each other! That where easy double tanks, a lot of sleep, many firsts and no cash involved!
Haha I never noticed you, if I remember right I drove into the wall at the beginning and before I could recover someone knocked me down from behind, maybe it was you! Then after getting back to 2nd or 3rd I got too excited and crashed into the last corner! Edit: that was actually two different races, I think I just got knocked down early in this one lol! Would have been good to get a race, I've not bothered using boosts as I'm really only playing for the 2k and maybe a free nitro. We'll have to try and time some MP at the same time someday soon, I'll see about getting my twitch login sorted, saw someone on here saying it was a good way to synchronise joining lobbies. I know what you mean about these weekend tanks, I got top 10 or 15 in the venom last week with very little effort and quite a lot of wifi issues, could have missed loads more too and still made the top 100 lol!
No didn't knock down anybody, started from 4th and overtook on the left side with a blue onyx and went the right upper road! I'm not to keen on knocking out, I like to take it out on the street! Wow, less than an hour into the MPTLE for the GTR, and at least 50 people have bought fuel refills. and multiple refills at that. Like I kinda understood dropping some $ on the Koenigsegg (even thought that was also pretty insane) but this isn't as worth it.
Ironic new event: to win a venom (not sure if maxed), you must have a IAP car. We are getting used to this amaaaziiing events Gameloft. It should have been a P.S. under this promo* something like this * only available for those who whould spend just 49.99 USD to buy the ford mustang

You once promised that will not be necessary to own the "cars for cash" and now that in order to win an event you need the mustang. I think in your words it was that the IAP cars will not have effect of thee outcome of races. Congratulations on another subtle way to say: We do what we want. The MP Event for the One:1 must have been your Golddonkey as we say in Germany. The next thing is that you will be only giving 50k to the two winners as a compensation because they already own that car or at least can share it, so that'll be a cheap,event for you. The prizes for upgrades have increased to a point where it's ridiculous. One upgrade of the new savage rivale GTR is more than a fully maxed Sesto including buying it. And the Sesto with a skilled player will be able to compete the GTR. Don't expect me to try and win the GTR in MP, 50 cars on each platform, very generous. It's two hours [ in competition and points are already near 3000!? I rather farm for that Car, unboosted. I am really curious what changes we have to face with the next big update.
This. This is why I can't be bothered to invest in any of these new cars, since to Max them, I have to mindlessly farm credits until my brain implodes. And regarding these silly zombie grind TLEs, the fact that 100s of people can grind on them at essentially the same rate but only a small fraction of those actually win the car or whatever's at stake is pathetic. I might actually play the TLE for 5 days straight and buy refills and neglect things like school, other people, other video games, love life,MY OWN SANITY, etc, but oh wait, some bozo finishes in the top 50 with the same amount of points as me, while I have to rot in 51st with no car. It shows how these stupid zombie grinders take no skill at all, just zero dignity and a big wallet. Oh, and that Mustang. This is literally the embodiment of "dev pls nerf" It is considerably overpowered, at least compared to the 370Z. We NEED a new D-Class car that is on par with the Stang that is available for CREDITS. An IAP car is the best in its class. How is that fair? How is it balanced? How is it not pay-to-win?
Hey Ryan and fabien, I had a really cool idea for a new track that you might want to bring up for the devs. I think it would be interesting if you guys put together a map where there are multiple routes that all have the same length. I've included a quick sketch of a potential route that would be really cool that I'll use for reference (i haven't included ramps or jumps): In the part that I've labelled "1": (the idea is that the routes are all the same distance) The middle route would be for cars like the biome and furai with the best handling. They would be able to take the loop without having to drift. The left and right routes are both good for cars with pretty good handling, but the right is better for low handling cars. In part 2, the idea would be the same. Personally, and I know this is far fetched, but this track would be sick on a volcano map. Like the center of the middle loop could be the top of an active volcano, the right could go on the mountain slope, and the left could go through it. Anyway, this would be cool idea to bring up to the team with regards to future tracks because every race would be different. On most maps, people just memorize the shortest route, but here, there isn't one. Edit: sorry its sideways, just rotate it once counter clockwise
I'm having fun with my fully maxed K One:1, but I do feel like I'm taking advantage of racers with slower cars. I've already been matched with two non-maxed Sestos. I feel kind of sorry for them, but after all the credits I spent on this car, I'd like to use it.
I wonder how much $$ you need to spend to get 6000+ points in 9 hours. Crazy. For a 750k credit car. I think I noticed this guy in the forum way back before I joined and I had just come across it doing google searches looking for tips, I can see he's in hung and lucian's clan/team too, is he still here??
