Yeah it is too late to make huge changes to A8 at this point. The airborne theme for A8 with ramps was a masterstroke by GL. will be interesting to see what they come up with for A9.
This game has gone down the wrong route of making it all about shaving 100ths of seconds off lap times. If I had wanted that out of a game I would have got real racing I spent a while in mp fully boosted and came across some supposedly top 20 players all in d class cars noob bothering. The standard of their driving was shameful and some driver called black magic something was all over the place. He got mashed by my monster truck twice for driving like a tool, then at the end I saw his ranking was up in the 3800? WTF. ??? What with the stupid squirrel cars spoiling the middle section of mp, and s class only winnable with IAP cars MP is still FUBAR
There must be a lot of room for improvement his air times are never below 1 sec. I don't see where he's faster than PE or hector!? What was your time again?
Haha I thought it might have been! That Chinese website doesn't always work on my phone so I was glad to actually get to watch it. I would need to double check but I think you get even less air time by double barreling, as low as 2.35 in the video, single barrel on PEs time I think from memory was maybe 2.68? Flat spinning the best I've had was around 2.8x or 2.9x and right up to 3.15 or so, can't remember hectors but assuming it was similar. Directly compared to PEs lap I think the double video player got to triple on a point later where PE used perfect, I can only assume that came from the nitro generated by the extra barrel. Like you say there's probably room to get it down further as even I can manage a lot of those barrels under 1, they don't look perfect in that video. I think there might have even been a "...could have been lower..." comment posted with the video on fb.
100ths you say, look how close we are! Ricky how on earth did I you do that, I thought mine was perfect. Except for the shortcut didn't jump no walls, does triple nos make such a big difference? Great lap!
Anyone know what cars are being discounted (besides the P1 obviously)? The only one that shows for me is the GTA Spano at 40% off. It is possible most of the ones being discounted are ones I already have. Now I wish I hadn't gotten that Huayra at a full price just a few days ago.
My last 5 practice runs I pulled off 2.68 to 2.85 sec. double barrels, unfortunately on single tank and one time didn't reach the street. See if I can do that tonight on double tank. Changed the angle a bit to coming more from the side, you have to steer a bit back in the air but worked fine for me!
I think that using my route is easier to do a better time. Of course with a lot of luck and CheneseTastes route you can make an even better time, but is almost impossible. Is your device jailbroken? I don't think you can do it without. I'm sure PE told me what he uses on iPad but I'm not sure if it was here or on fb. Will have a look and let you know if I can find it. You could do your GTR route for your first video lol
Black Magic Woman/Serik M. is the biggest no-life coward I've ever encountered in this game. When I raced him for the first time on October 18, he had about 2800 points. Since then he's played well over 1000 MP matches, using only the Cadillac ATS to rack up points against primarily beginners, and fleeing from the lobby whenever a good players comes in. (As you crushed him with your F-150, expect him to run the next time you two meet; he fled from me twice last night.) A lot of players appear to have caught on to his act and are using similar cars to get some easy points from him, and thus the growth of his MP score has slowed down considerably. But 2 weeks ago, he was moving up easily by 100-150 points each day just by using the ATS, and probably averaging 12-15 hours of gameplay each time. And as I've stated two or three times already, his rise was only, only, only made possible by Gameloft removing the "high-ranked players who use slow cars to face beginners will face them in stronger cars" element from the game in the San Diego update. I finally got a response from them last week, and it went something like this: "Some players were complaining that it wasn't fair that they had to race cars so much stronger than theirs, so we wanted to make the game more fair for everyone." Not fair? If you're only using the ATS in MP and have managed to reach over 2,000 points as a result, then you'll have to face maxed Scions and Mini Coopers to prove your worth. To appease a few whiners, they've ruined the entire credibility and experience of MP.
This is such a dumb way to address a very real problem. If this is what they want to do, why not make sure that maxed P1's don't go up against maxed and fully boosted Venom's and Aero's? That imo is a much more pressing issue to deal with. Moderately experienced players with mid-range cars facing off against top ranked players with supercars.
Now that I don't know at all. They are iOS specific and I'm not even sure if there is one available for iOS 8 yet, some of the guys on here are still on iOS 7 to use its jailbreak as they mentioned when there is a new one it often starts with problems and bugs and can affect some apps reliability. You should be able to find videos on youtube about how to do it. I've been considering it as I wanna record and I also wanna use my PS3 controller and both require jailbreak, but I've already upgraded to iOS 8 so I'm waiting for a while before I do anything.
That lap wasn't even perfect. I hit the wall on the first turn. Look you already have a nice time without extra tank.
After finally getting rid of my biome boosted ghost and replacing it with an unboosted one, I've gone and accidentally recorded a new one with tuning kit a couple of days later! Was a sloppy lap too, I'm on the bus and it's not great for control. Had been doing laps and crashing deliberately at the start to boost credits but my mind was elsewhere and went and completed a lap without the crash to get 53:9xx
Motor away you were lucky yesterday!! I didn't realise it was you and let you go past and prepared to triple into the back of you, but then saw your id and backed off, I thought you drove minis so a gold Caddie looked like a fun target. Plus your point loss would have been hard to justify. Just found Kb purple who is in the top 20 also in a F150 so thrashed him in 2 races then he ran a way from every room i was in, but I didn't give up and chased him from room to room until he got locked in and then took him out on the first corner.
