If you mean by high as in time, no I always go unboosted first in these division cups just to test the waters. Well then again I guess that is a tactic technically... But I don't purposely get a bad time though, I just happened to have a bad run that time (I only tried it once because of this glitch, bug, watever)
Well thanks... <3 In the past I've been able to upload another ghost for a track with and without boosts. I can't remember if it removed it or just added it as an another option for that specific track. Have you tried syncing a second or third ghost up with the server? If that isn't working let me know and I'll talk to Fabien or the Game Team and see if they have any suggestions! I think the team will continue to try different thresholds for prizes. I agree top 20 might be a little tough, but I know throughout all of the Tournaments we've run we have had a variety of thresholds so it's the next time around it won't be Top 20 only. Man that's so early xD If you save streams and export them to YouTube or save the VODs feel free to hit me up with a link!
Yeah, same here. The only thing I'm interested in are cars for discounted credits. It depends on what you want the cars for. When going through single player career mode, the best thing to look out for is the number of stars those cars can get you. Take a look at the seasons you have open and get the cars that has a lot of car specific races available. When I started career mode, I got most of the cars in D-Class. The prices are low enough that it's worth it. The upgrades usually aren't worth it for the lower ranked cars but definitely upgrade the Nissan 370Z. The Camaro is a good car in class C as it has a lot of car specific races. The Lotus Exige is probably the most cost-effective way to win the later C class races. Survolt is a decent starter B-class car but once you start moving to the later seasons, you are going to need a better one. I prefer the Gallardo/Biome to the Shelby as they have better handling and overall more enjoyable to drive. Gallardo is probably a better choice since the Biome's upgrades are ridiculously expensive. It is still three times more expensive than the Shelby although I found it to be worth the price. I started with the Cadillac in Class A and got the Corvette due to a lot of Chevrolet specific races in the mid seasons. But the McLaren 12C beats it hands down on nitro duration so isn't a bad choice either. I got the Berlinetta once the corvette couldn't keep up in the later seasons. It is the one purchase I regret in hindsight as there are so many better options. The Sesto has far superior handling and isn't that much more expensive. For class S, I started with the Veneno and loved it. Then grinded for the Silver Lightning to do those electric races. But it is probably not a good choice as a primary car and its handling is really horrible. For multiplayer, the Mini Cooper is an excellent choice as is a maxed 370Z. A stock biome also tends to be placed in races with inferior cars. There's nothing in Class A or low end Class S that you can consistently win MP with but if you have the credits, I'd recommend getting a Lykan. For TLE's, it is pretty straightforward and it is highly unlikely you win with a car outside of the ones below. D-Class: Mustang (370Z if you don't want to spend real cash) C-Class: Jaguar (It is between Exige/Competizione/Avant for the non-IAP though Exige usually is the preferred car) B-Class: Biome A-Class: P1 S-Class: Aero (Venom for the non-IAP)
I've been thinking of a way to quantify Nitro Duration and will probably run some tests when I find some time. The first thing to consider is that it doesn't matter how long the nitro actually lasts (in seconds) but only how far it can take your car. A crappier nitro can last long (most C and D class cars) but run out before your car can reach the next bottle for instance. So the true nitro quality is shown by how far it will carry you. One idea I have so far is to go to an empty stretch of road. Quick Solo race VS mode fits the bill. The one I'm trying to the stretch of straight road in Westminster bridge right after the bridge and the turn following it. I've tried it with a stock Huayra and Level 4 upgraded Veneno so far. They both reached the exact same point (the red telephone pole) before running out of nitro (of course, this was while taking care to not cause any city havoc and refill the nitro). I'm going to try this out with a bunch of other cars. I'd love to hear if anyone has ideas to do it more accurately. P1 lasted much longer.
I'll bet this is Gameloft's way of preserving "a competitive and fair playing environment for [their] loyal players."
Cheers Ryan I will try to do that. Getting nowhere with the GTR cup, each time my fuel has refilled I'm getting worse lol. Got down to 1:08:9xx early on but still miles off. I can't consisently hit the double barrel on the big jump and when I do it just single I seem to have issues keeping my nitro up and end up compromising triple for perfect later on. The gold bottle jump route appears to last slightly longer, probably due to the increased air time. That's before I even get into the regular barrels, hitting just above 1 second for each most times and I know it needs to be just below on at least some of them. Will probably do another tank on Wednesday and see where I get to then, wish I had enough time and tanks to just blast it with 2 tanks every evening all week lol
Wow nice time, did you use same route as me? I have made 1:08.235, current 1º on my division Here is the video. I made 2 mistakes; first after buddha's ramp where I did 4 flat spins (I should have done 3 and get a better landing). Second before last left turn, where I pressed brake too late and lost some meters that didn't allow me to kept nitro until penultimate ramp. Here is the video: http://youtu.be/Ekozm9OdnfY
If this is automatically solved: who coded the server? If not: why? You can't keep someone awake for that. But seriously, big fail from GL
I don't know, but I think that I have few "haters" who are always impatient to watch my new videos and click on dislike
As for first choice in class A, the Cadillac served me as well as my survolt in MP and seasons for a long time. Now that my caddy is maxed, its in storage. Get the sesto after that, and most of your A ranked season races should go smoothly as you upgrade it It is crap, and it sure wont come anywhere near carrying you as the biome or even the survolt nitro does. Poor examples ofc, but to make a point... I find that taking the second barrel, both gives me more airtime and reduce speed to much. I always go for a quick one on the first, perfect to the top, flying over the edge Get another quick before I tripple over the edge downwards Mine aint half bad either, so far. There's only one dude who managed to get bellow 1.09.xx Usually, I'm by seeing your vids, but this one seem to have like 1-1.5s more to go total throughout the track, as you said. Tho that track is tricky, it also allows for a variety of choices. Atm, I'm not even doing dual tank, as I need to get an even better feel of the car on the track
Another issue you should consider imho, is secondary prizes aswell. GTR tle has a single car for the winner, and even if you made it in second or 25, whatever you're left with, isnt even worth dog shit. In fact, if you get second place, your prices tally a Mammuth 39000 coins I payed a bit more then a buck or 2,to #### with your lovely game, not to get ####ed. In fact, most tle prizes has went the way of mp prizes, win spree prices etc. A silver lightning 2-3 laps on buddhas teachings I consider a challenge, your cut in winnings, skyrocketing prices on upgrades and boosts, I just consider foul. As for your "change to cater to casual players" cut in nitro/kit, does neither follow double tank duartion, and another excelent excuse to 400% up the prices, so one have to pay to win, either way. It reeeeks all the way up to norway
I'd recommend Barcelona. Knockdown the AIs, empty tour tank before collecting 2 yellows on the top road to get a full tank and perfect immediately and get to the big jump without collecting any more bottles. You'll get one perfect run in this stretch every time so factor that in. w/o traffic of course
In top 100 in my division I don't know anybody, apart from this Open guy on number 1. After three runs on single tank I don't see how I can get there even with double tank. In my first run my barrel on the way uphill was too low landed on my back and made 1:13.xxx. In the second with crappy takedowns on single tank (I need 4 to reach the drift before buddha) and slight walls I made 1:09.7xx. Third was nearly the same with some time without nitro. I don't know, I think I keep my double tank in my bank, I'd have to beat hectors time to finish first. I think today I do some practice and see how far I can get using single. What is the best single time from you guys?
Nice video as always hector I've picked up a couple of ideas from your route, can't wait until Wednesday to try it out now, can't justify using a tank tonight unfortunately as I won't have much time to play.
Does anyone know the total cost to upgrade Maserati mc12? I like it better than clk gtr. much better handling and nitro. I may try it out in mp..
