Nope. You'd think they would give the Savage GTR that easily but no. They are looking to maximize their profits right now, and even if they stopped doing this, tournaments are already registered upon update and cannot be changed (that's the only explanation for receiving a notification for a tournament while not being online). By making people use more boosters, they gain more money. By giving the car only to the first on each division, they make people use more boosters. That's why I'm only betting on the next update for a change. And if you want my opinion on things, this may be my last bet.
That's always the way in these 5000 player divisions. I've had a 2nd, a 3rd, and a 4th in the last few months, savage roadyacht, Maserati mc12 and furai. The only exception was the nismo where I was somewhere miles off like 16th or 19th, dunno what happened there. Would almost rather be in that position too tbh, the 2nd/3rd/4th were too close and I felt worse after them than the nismo lol! Didn't really play anything before those tho so I don't know if it used to be any different.
I realised that in the hacker videos on YouTube, no matter how good the other stats are I doubt it will beat the p1 overall because of that, maybe on shorter maps it might be better but from what I saw it looked extremely heavy on the nitro. No extra tanks available either ffs, I'll maybe just hold out til Thursday or Friday and have a shot then, not gonna waste tanks on it all week like I did the one:1, at least there I got 2 of the 5 back.
2nd for Jaguar (lost by like 20 millisec to Elite ACE 1st for Biome (got easy division) 1st for the roadyacht ( I tied with Ahmed Hassan lool, we both got 58:707 XD) 6th for mc12 ( stupid failed barrels, I even knew of the glitch with like a day left) 1st for the furai (such a easy division, I had a bad time (1:11:6xx) 2nd for this nismo (lost by like 20 millisec and that was because of a back knockdown :'( I guess my luck is better than yours
F-Type: First (I only tried it once) Biome: Third (Summer reached a time I couldn't reach) Roadyacht: Fourth (I keep making fails) MC12: First (They were too weak) Furai: Second (So close) Nismo: Third (Sky was too good) Eric. My luck is better than yours cause I have $$ cars.
A couple of you mentioned about Abhinav-funny thing is he was around this forum though a long times ago lol. I don't know how accurate his posts are but he's got wide expanse of contacts. The Savage Rivale GTR, when fully boosted has the same rank as an unboosted Tuatara (1659). Perhaps this car will be OP vs. the P1. The cheating with multiple accounts is really annoying but oh well, can't do anything about that. Last thing: Where to go for customer support? My SSC Tuatara (maxed) disappeared today...I won it a long time ago by finishing #7 (it was given to top 100) worldwide.
I have not tried the Division yet, is there any tactics for the first run? Do I have to be super slow to be set in an easier group? Or is this made up before I enter the first race? I came: Jaguar: second, some summer was first, I was leading til the very last hour Biome: Second again this time open Roadyacht: third MC: top10 didn't understand SDR Furai: top 20 didn't understand the car, would have easily won it in Zombie grinder, lost it all to points reset after two days, got rewarded with 5K! Nismo: 9, won it in Zombie Grinder
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWP_6PHbn3c Maxed gtr acceleration almost like top s class cars. Average nitro duration. Biome's handling is more due to its special tyres than 1.35g spec. So gtr will be more like sesto in handling. I think its better acceleration, handling and overall higher rank will edge out p1 slightly. The guy who posted this video is a very good player(windows) and hacked one:1 and gtr. He still played one cup and placed within top 20. I wonder how many others lost their cars cause of morons like these
Wooohooo! Just got rid of a boosted ghost on season 9! Onyx SDR, 53.xxx. Problem is it is glitched. I found out how to avoid the big barrel jump short before you go to the lower level road but still gain Nitro. Out of 10 tries the barrel ramp would make me land 6 times on my back, now I hit the ramp barely one wheeled on the right side and do one sometimes two very fast barrels plus the onyx does super low barrels into glitch.
It has a nasty acceleration. It can kill any car in front of it, although the nitro duration is not nice
Anyone raced recent Treat or trick TLE (Monaco rev.) with RS4? What was your time? mine was 1.41.109 (also did 1.41.037 in solo once).
I've tried to avoid using the San diego glitches on my ghosts as they are getting rid of it in the next upgrade, think I might have it in one of them though from practicing it but not sure.
Has anyone come up with a solid theory/opinion on joining these 5000 player divisions later in the week to avoid the majority of the clan players? I remember some chat on here about it a few weeks ago but dunno if anyone was sold either way at the time. I still haven't tried the new savage cup but itching to get a blast at it, but might wait until I'm ready to activate a double tank boost if I thought there was any value in holding off for a day or two.
For me the best "strategy" is to join division in the middle of its duration. Because from my observations, the most of best players join on the very beginning and on at the same end. At least for me waiting till the last day didn't work
I have tried joining at all times but it never seems to make much difference, multi account users will do the same over the week to make sure they win the car, so my advice is do it whenever you feel like it. If you want to avoid the chinese then do it when it is the middle of the night for them.
I don't think there is any 100% proof strategy we can speak of. Tend to agree with velandil, chances seem to be better in the middle of the tournament, but no guarantee of an easy division. Last time I used this tactics, I landed in a seemingly average division. Then, some 2 hours before the end, some clan gorrillas appeared out of nowhere, taking 8 out of 10 top spots. The only explanation is that they purposefully did bad times when first assigned to the division and waited for the last minute to show their colours. Another think you may consider is the time zones, most of the Chinese clans/players join seemingly between 4-8 pm Europe time.
