It depends on what you want it for. If you want it for MP, it's perfect (besides handling). However, if you want it for TLEs, it depends on the track since the Venom can overtake the Aero, given some time. In the end, it's a sweet car with its only rival being the Venom GT and the One:1. From my experience with it, it's nearly unbeatable in MP. And by nearly unbeatable I mean it's just not crashing or drifting too long.
Venom used to be as fast or maybe faster than aero when it had a boost of +42 from the TK. But now aero is definitely faster on all tracks except maybe Venice. It's better for MP too. I still don't get why Chrysler and jag cx are still premium If you do want to buy venom, you probably wont get a better deal. I'd say if you have enough saved for the one, then no harm getting the venom.
Finally the iPad Air2 has arrived in the shops in my region. Is it's worth it or buy the Air with discount. They say that the air2 is specifically fitting for high res graphic games like Asphalt8! No lagging anymore! Anyone of you has any experience with the Air2 so far?
I have an iPad Mini 2 and it still lags sometimes. I dunno maybe get the Air 2. But if you want a cheaper tablet, get the Air
I don't want cheap I want no lags and controller connectivity! At the moment I play on an iPad3 which quite frequently lags, really annoying on slow mo take downs before cornering. I want to get rid of that. If I buy the air and it still lags I haven't won anything! I think I go with the air2!
DarkZero. I had a go at your alps s6 Ferrari ghost quickly this morning. I could get level with it a few times but kept hitting traffic due to obscured vision so didn't beat it but set a imperfect quicker lap if you want to have a go at that.
Yeah, I'm not talking about the One:1 MPTLE Cup, that's a whole different bag of apples. I haven't even made a run in it because it's on the glitch track and there's no chance in hell I'm going to finish top 20. It's not even worth the free fuel to me. The previous MPTLE cups were much more open. 100 win the car, and the car wasn't nearly as valuable (Nismo, Onyx, etc). You could definitely grind those out and win without paying. ETA - I am going to make a couple runs right now, for fun, and to grab that giant 7k guarantee for winning the race. Usually when you jump in this late, you get placed with some unboosted noobs, so hopefully I can do it in one try. Wish me luck.
Nice you got it then. I really like the venom actually, hated it at first but after I got used to the 'lightness' and messed around with the sensitivity a bit I really do enjoy it now. Really wish I hadn't boosted my s9 ghost on it as I still play it quite a lot, although it does at least give me a map to play when I'm waiting between fuel refills and have double tanks activated. I spoiled the tuatara ghost too with boosts but I'm not too fussed on it anyway so venom is a good time killer and gets plenty of credits. It also has a San diego 2 lap on s6 which was handy for practicing the route and the glitch last week in the one:1 TLE.

It is so much fun only taking one boost, nitro is enough, fast nitro from start, ramp on the left on carrier fast nitro, stay left take ramp left, left path on battleship fast nitro take yellow bottle, flat spin off battleship stay right do not touch anything, Take down green sign, posts and streetlights on the right, do not take ramp, take down barriers jump to lower street early entry in sharp corner, low barrel roll of flat ramp on the left side, re spawn on carrier stay right and you win against fully loaded cars. You should never run out of nitro! Hey Dave, I'm still indecisive of wether I should invest it is only 500 points which means 25 , keep myself in position, as work allows me and I'll see what happens tonight.
I didn't win. Some punk choked me out going up the first ramp and I crashed, then upon respawn had to take the long route. The glitch got me back to second, I got 300-400 pts. I won the second race which put me at 819 points, won't be doing any more.
I'll start doing my weekly stream every Friday at 5:00 a.m PST. I'll be streaming at that time later on today.
