Hello guys, I need to cach up with your messages. I wanted to let you know that in the last hotfix, we fixed an issue that was geting the pause menu to pop up when using tripple nitro at the start.
when will this fix be available for android? It's good to hear it's been fixed, though it should be only a starter introducing major fixes
Still waiting for the news everybody here want to hear from Gameloft. Too many players left the game thanks to the unfair game in every platform. I think Gameloft is busy with other games, but maybe give attention to his top game is really appreciated. Again, some players left and even more think to follow.
I am doing it, and anything you guys are reporting is considered by the team. When they make decision, you guys matter, but they also have to consider other criterias. It will come in the next major update
Can we start thinking on Asphalt 9? we are tire of such cheater party on Asphalt 8, chinese clans unlocking new cars before release, file sharing, unlimited extra tank due to the exploit in the cloud using 2 devices, multiple accounts, and the worst thing...Gameloft prefer to make us wait months developing tools in the server to control the cheating and multiple accounts instead of ban them immediately. Why should I spend money on this game? it's not enjoyable anymore, I don't even remember the last good feature Gameloft introduced in the game :/ Forget about the new content the games must have once in a while which is common...
Nemesis I tried to set you a ghost challenge in reply to the 2006 ford gt but it got stuck on the loading screen? The first attempt where I failed your challenge I hit the traffic that sits at the finish line lol. There's still some time left in it, dunno about 2:06:xxx but not far off it, had too much air time in the lap 2 barrel onto the warehouse and messed up my nitro at the end. Possibly did too much flat spinning also although not sure as I made a lot of use of triple nitro too. Will try it again a few times after work later. Anyway my time is in this picture, it might upload for me later when I access the ghost screen but the 3/4G in work here is pretty poor so that's probably what happened.
And so what? You play A9 in hopes of getting a better experience? Sorry for what I'm going to say, but nothing will stop people from hacking. Ban someone for hacking? One week later, he's up at it again with a new account. The only things GL can do about hackers is either ban the IP adress (which is impossible) or force hackers to play offline (more doable, but would require a complete overhaul of how servers detect hackers and handles them, as well as an offline system that can do the same thing, but we're talking about a phone game, and there's not much of those who are able to do that). A9 will suffer the same fate, and there's nothing we can do; you won't see it from the start, but it will happen. Sorry for being rough, but I just had to clarify that point. I do really want A9 as well, but it's impossible to stop hackers. Not even games for consoles or PC are able to stop hacking, as it's impossible to create the perfect anti-hacking algorithm. Also, you do make a point: GL's attemps to circumvent hackers aren't successful. On divisions, it's just a matter of luck now. On MPTLEs, people can still hack to win races and not lose fuel, or get free refills.
Thanks Fabien! And all this Asphalt 9 stuff... Has it even been confirmed that the team is developing it?
I think the best way to forbid account file sharing is to store user's info online and monitor keenly on changes of that. This would be similar to the fuels which are stored online. Except for the 1-fuel-bar-for-all glitch (which was fixed extremely fast by GL), there is not way to cheat with the fuel system at the moment. You don't have to save everything, instead just some key parameters like premium cars, free boosts, which basically all requires online when they're obtained. I'm not sure about the technical difficulties and GameLoft may have other considerations, but this is something I find reasonable from the user's end.
Oh, you got to love these people... Edit 1: follow up conversations. This post really made my day. Lol
thats such an idiotic argument. if people want to actually enjoy the game, they wouldn't want to hack and bypass the challenges. This open jing guy is seriously getting on my nerves. First he hops countries and steals spots on the american leaderboard with his multiple accounts, and now he's obviously profiting off hacks.
I asked him on Twitch a few months ago how much profit Open gets out of this whole "business," and he said thousands of dollars. It's obviously not a million-dollar industry that they've got going on, but still..
