It has been a major help to my game being able to chat with all the experienced guys here. I sent you a friend request on game centre, trying to set some ghosts myself although I've been focussing on earlier seasons more and am considering doing my season 9 times fully boosted but still undecided. Might yet even go the other way and leave season 9 unboosted but boost the seasons 1-8 ghosts, dunno yet.
Don't boost your ghosts Dave. It means you have to use boosts to try and beat your time which then makes it a way of spending credit rather than earning it. Btw your Dubai ghost is toast.
Haha not surprised, it was a messy lap, easily another 1-3 seconds in there, had a laugh when I beat your one by 0.002, was amazed I even was close tbh! I couldn't catch the SDR one, couldn't get the start then was chasing you the whole way half a second behind, although I did pick up a slight route difference in yours which seemed to send you further ahead and ruin any gains I made up to that point. Will give it a shot later after work, although I'll have a tank on this evening trying to get the one:1, no chance my current 19th is gonna hold, slipped 5 spots in as many hours overnight!

Hi In the koenigsegg one cup Do you use the first ramp or second ramp at the beginning?? And then do you go left using the barrel roll or straight forward and make normal jump ??
The balance of probabilities would suggest that glitched times are 'legit' also so you could be waiting a while for that.
I also want to introduce myself although I have made one or two posts already on this board. I installed A8 last November and played very rarely. Started taking it more serious this summer. In the regional events I placed between 8 and 15, in World Series (iOS) I'm around 500, international most of the time top 250. I really would like to take my game to the next level and found this forum. I have mostly been on the ingame forums until now, but I think as most of you are those who regularly make it into Top 50, this is a good place to be. I am looking for serious challenges by your ghosts and some insider info. As I experienced in PM many of you are very open and give useful hints and tips. Welcome buddy I sent you a gc request there, I should have some more competitive ghosts over the next few weeks, my first few months have been grinding and maxing cars to put myself in a position to compete in TLEs. Some are not so bad but a lot are still just what I had to do to achieve 5 stars and maybe some where I practiced for a TLE. You should find here gets you over the line into the higher spots, since I joined I've gone from being happy to maybe make the odd extra tank to now being disappointed not to be in the top few positions, the current one:1 cup being a good example, I'm just outside the top 20 and am totally determined to break 57 seconds tonight
Fabien, I think you can use the official Gameloft forum to do that instead, as it is something directly accessible from the game. Facebook groups are often closed and not known by everyone. Their admins can sometimes be very dictatorial when selecting members. After all, why bother using another community when you have one yourself? Plus, I'm not sure if you could come up with a reasonable proposal from that facebook group. People may just ask for things like maxed-out One:1 for race finishing prize ...
Excuse me for interrupting ! But I think players in FB Group deserve that And WHY did you say that we (admins) can be sometimes VERY dictatorial ? We're just doing our job, which is focused on "Banning" Cheats and Hacks users. Welcome You do a good job of banning people who ask for hacks or have blatantly hacked but the hero worship of clan member with multiple accounts and the blatant file sharing makes this position on banning cheats somewhat weaker. I suspect that this is more to do with one of your other admins though.

Yeah I wouldn't boost on the maxed events. I made that mistake on a few of my races, especially one that I use to farm credits so whenever I have to, it just gets boring Oh and I have another question since I'm still new with the friends' ghosts, how do I get them? I've responded to the requests on game center, but I'm not sure how to get your ghosts onto the game..
It can take a few days for ghosts to appear, mine mostly appeared 12-24 hours after friend request confirmed. One guy on here told me one of his was something crazy like 4 weeks lol but I haven't experienced that!
Hey Nick, your ghosts just appeared, I think that you must see mine now! I also made the mistake of doing some of season 9 fully loaded after fuel tank was empty, will never do that again. Luckily I have not yet raced half of season 9. I am waiting for a day off with no duties so I can use my last double credit to make the most out of it! Thank god I started from the top, so the fun cars will all be unboosted. Dave, thank you for your welcome, unfortunately you request did not appear. The O is capital, maybe you had that wrong! Hopefully you get back in T20 with the One:1. I'm having a hard time hitting the correct exit point with the Koenigsegg, no problem with my Nismo. A lot of fuel wasted.
Welcome and please chill... We all know that you did an excellent job there and I was not specifically talking about your group, just closed FB groups in general. It seems to be fair to have a poll in an openly registered forum, so that every player can vote, IMO. People here just don't like multiple accounts, cloning/sharing accounts, which are basically cheating but seems to be totally OK in that FB group. We know it is probably not you but your colleagues who agrees with those behaviors. Exactly my point.
Yep, Steve Webb or Brava Lidia just banned me from the A8 group as well, and my only sin was replying to ChineseTastes/Ph*ckMotorAway (his username for the time being) last night after he started calling me an "idiot" and a "child without a brain" (totally unprovoked; I hadn't even really talked to the guy before, aside from praising one of his videos). Good riddance. 99% of that group consists of 12-year-old illiterates posting ridiculous garbage anyway.
