regarding the big jump in barcelona, the regular straight jump takes approx 3.45 sec. I've just took a side jump and didn't perform a barrel but my air time was only 3.2. Not a big difference but for tle always counts also @hector, I think that taking the right path before the last straight is a bit faster (more straight line)

Looks like my proposed new MP career is over before it has begun lol. GL are absolutely insisting that I am having problems with my wifi and their matchmaking has nothing to do with it. I am sitting alone in a MP lobby for 10,15,20 mins at a time with no one joining, or one person joining, waiting for ten mins then leaving as no one else joins. All I'm getting from them is, restart your phone, restart your router, close other internet apps etc etc despite about 15 emails explaining that I have done all that a million times lol. At least they have acknowledged the crazy TLE leaderboards I'm seeing and have said others are reporting the same thing and that they are looking at it. Was looking forward to getting into the MP too now that I've maxed all but a couple of cars in the single player.
do the connection problems still happen when you are at completely different internet locations? restarting the router doesnt always fix little issues; cutting it off for 30 mins can fix problems where certain machines will sometimes try to use the same address, which obviously doesnt work. i went through something similar in my house since there are a dozen different wifi devices. is a8 the only app/game experiencing wifi connection problems? did you back up your phone & factory reset? it could be there are some garbage files somewhere.
Yeah tried it on my parents wifi today and no difference. Was pretty sure it wasn't that anyway as my girlfriends game works fine in our house, plus we tried playing a race on local wifi today and it worked fine. Tried disconnecting all the other stuff too and again no difference. The only thing I haven't done is the factory reset, might try that tonight. Deleted and reinstalled the game too but no improvement.
That is simply the most ridiculous lap I've ever seen. How can it be so fast when he spends six months in the air?

I'm really pissed now. Lost 3 MP races in a row because of stupid f**ing glitch on barrel ramps. Instead of low barrel my mclaren 12c was teleported into the sky with low speed. so f**ing annoying!!!
This is the same route as the fastest one posted with a single tank gallardo way earlier in this thread. It takes advantage of the extra speed triple boosting after a jump, which is why it's so fast. But it takes skill to pull off right.
I dunno where this falls in your technical/gameplay definition but the not drifting at corners seems to have happened to me an awful lot lately. I notice it most on the first attempt to drift normally after I've done the drift wiggle manoeuvre, couple of turns in Monaco probably being the main offender with one of the earlier corners in Nevada quite common too. I didn't really ever use the wiggle until I saw it in a few videos recently although I did use longer drifting when I knew there were no bottles or jumps nearby. As a result I have probably been overdoing it a bit to practice as it could make the difference in TLEs as the furai mirage showed a couple of weeks ago and I think I have noticed a correlation with the amount of times I hit a wall soon after attempting it. That bloody 1/2 barrel roll off the last ledge in Iceland was a killer on Thursday and Fridays cup too. Not really sure if that's what you're looking for but its my current pet hate in the game.
Bro, since the 1.4.0 update I have to face that all the time, Gameloft dropped the optimization on the ipad 3, i lose too much speed and also wreck on the ramps and barrel ramps. It's a disaster from Gameloft, I even sent videos to Fabien and Ryan and nothing has changed.
Thanks for doing this; here are a few: 1) In MP, there is no way a driver, considering all the glitches in the game and differing car ranks, should lose 10 or more points for finishing second and losing even more points for finishing worse. It should be closer to one point. 2) Cars are killed by other cars much too easily. Needs to be about 10 times harder to take out another car sensitivity-wise. 3) The difference between car ranks in MP shouldn't be more than 20 rank points (higher/lower). 4) Clans, hackers, and cheaters need to be deleted. 5) Rewards for race wins and TLE performance need to be more generous and extend to more people say top 100-200 get the car, etc. (especially considering how many folks bend the rules. 6) Fuel bar needs to be dumped, which would mean the MP TLE format would need to be tweaked. 7) Get rid of the extra tank. 8) The starting grid, especially because it's random, should change so the leader doesn't have such an advantage maybe motocross style. And in that vein, bottles early on need to be doubled so the leader isn't the only one who gets them, second place misses, third place gets it and kills second place.
In mp the match ups should be+50 max The fuel system should be scraped. If it hS to stay we should have a daily allowance that we can use when we please within 24 hours. Multiple accounts, file sharing and restoring extra tanks from back ups needs to be stoped TLE s need to give away cars in a way that the top 1000 drivers actually stand a chance of winning. Win streaks in mp need to be the main focus of multiplayer. At the moment they just allow you to break even. Being good at mp should bring reward as it is potentially the most exciting part of the game. Fix the no drift bugs on tilt controls and fix the no reason crashes in all the known spots. Scrap the double tanks FFS. I actual quite like it when no one can triple of the line as it makes the start fairer so you can keep that bug but make it the same for all not just tilt controls on I phones. There are loads more but that is all for now
im not against the fuel system; it provides appropriate regulation; otherwise, dont people just farm for 24hrs straight? "unlimited attempts"? sorry, i dont have 'non-fuel-tank' to compare to.
yesterday san diego update was released for samsung android. It caught for the last day of Mazda Furai MP TLE and there was a bug of infinite fuel. So after only one day top players had over 7k points... just saying, GL of course don't care
Technically, the fuel system is an improvement: you can't abuse cloud saves to get unlimited tries and people not using multiple accounts have an equal amount of tries, so you have a point. But the real problem is the rankings required to get the rewards. The Tuatara for example was way too stressful for me and fuel wasn't implemented at the time. Yes, I am repeating myself, and all that talk may annoy some of you, but you have to admit that it is a problem: instead of closing the gap between the beginners and the pros, it expands it as only those will get the rewards. Less extra tanks for tournaments = less chances to win it = no extra tank for next time. The use of boosters for tournaments should be considered too. Removing that would set an even ground for everyone.
