Since gameloft don't seem to be in a hurry to properly address the problems I've raised in 5 emails today starting 15 hours ago, do any of you know for certain if I delete the game and reinstall will simply connecting to my game centre and facebook accounts like I am at present retrieve my game progress? I've put in way too much time and slightly too much real money to take any risks with it, just wondering if any of you guys have done it before. Thanks

Also, I've found that you get better/faster results if you contact them through the customer service section in the game itself. There's a form there that you can fill out and send to them.

Yeah that's the one I've been using except for one time when I wanted to add screenshots. To be fair I now have a bit of a chain of emails ongoing with a guy called Nestor who is offering solution suggestions (of sorts) rather than cut and paste versions of the existing problems list that I've been getting since 830am this morning lol. Thankfully my conscience is clear on the cheating part as the worst I've done is a single run of the furai mp TLE using the dive glitch and I'm confident that is not a banning issue, especially given that I'm not even competing in it. I only did a few runs to get the top 50000 2500 credit prize and wanted to see if it had been patched yet. If that did turn out to be the case I'd be very surprised and disappointed. More likely that dagnaisser guy from the fb page maliciously reported me lol.
Well they've confirmed I'm not banned at least. Was kinda hoping that was it as at least it would've been easily rectified. They are insisting the MP thing is a connection issue on my end, despite my girlfriend sitting beside me on the sofa playing MP on the same wifi connection and iphone model lol. Might just go for the game delete/reinstall, still not keen despite assurances that it won't lose data!
Also congrats to you motor away and Nametoolongforyou... on your final half hour countdown to winning the furai. I'm sure it's been a long week lol, I was fed up doing even the Wednesday one for 16th position and the 5 tanks
The cloud save data will definitely come back. The only thing you might lose is some credits for recent races (last 24 hours or less), as the cloud doesn't sync in real time.
I'm still laughing at the LaFerrari cup. What was the point? Everyone with the capability to win already has a maxed LaFerrari, and to win the car, you HAVE to use its vastly superior classmate, the maxed P1.
Could live with losing credits tbh, I'm back well into seven figures again and have made next to nothing the last few days playing early seasons ghosts and some level 40 multiplayer. Had a good laugh at the Ferrari thing myself. If I wasn't a full 5 seconds off the pace double boosted on Iceland (and showing a crazy hackers leaderboard!) I might have had a shot at the extra tanks by activating one, that's all I really aim for these days on the TLEs is tanks. Like you say the car prize is a total joke and I said before it's probably months and months too late to be remotely meaningful. The mere fact that you have to use the maxed P1 to even have an outside chance seems like a glaring error on GLs part, def hard to understand the logic.
Mostly I race in whatever non maxed car I have left, its more fun. That CTV is a real beast. Try to go beyond 1350, and you got your self a great fun car I've reinstalled and restored my data from cloud several times. You should be all good
Haha, I didn't notice the Mustang cup was a divisional TLE, and jumped in early. D'oh. Clan heaven. At least there's no big rewards, though those 4 ET's would've been nice had I waited.
Yeah the reinstall went smoothly. Still getting the bs leaderboards with unboosted unmaxed cars wiping the floor with the summer and k-b guys in the division for today's Ford Mustang cup and still unable to access MP. GLs many responses so far are that my wifi is not working or I am trying to play when noone else is available, both of which I know are not the case. They haven't even addressed the cheaters leaderboards I am in other than to confirm I'm not banned. Too tired to care at this stage, if my toddler wasn't up and thinking it's party time here I'd have been asleep hours ago lol. If it's not resolved soon I might just cut my losses with the game anyway, pretty much maxed out everything and got 1400+ stars and other than MP have very little left to achieve as the TLEs just don't offer enough rewards or even attempts to keep up the level of playing I've gotten used to.
Ugh, man. That's frustrating. I hope you don't give it up, but I understand if you do. Hopefully GL gets off their fannies and figures out a solution for you before you cut ties. I was having some issues with MP the last couple of days as well, but they seemed to resolve themselves last night and I haven't encountered them since. I would get placed in lobbies and nobody else would show up, then I'd get kicked out with a message saying the room failed. Also, I'd get into rooms filled with players, wait, and then get a message saying the race had already started. I know my side of the connection was solid, and it was around the same time that 4118 (I think) was reporting the point disappearances in the Furai MPTLE. GL seems to have been having some issues lately, servers or otherwise. I wouldn't be surprised if all of these issues are related in some fashion. Good luck, Dave. Not only would I hate to lose you in the game, but especially the forum.
That sucks, man. I got banned once, but got taken care of in a week. GL's customer "service" is great at ignoring you unless you can get in touch with someone inside, present credible evidence, or post on their long-forgotten forums. I wish you the best of luck. By the way, I would like to know what GL thinks of this MP match-up.
Haha cheers dude. I'm really just venting anyway, I doubt I'll quit now, been looking for a good racing game for years. Just overly frustrated atm as I've been messing about and sending emails to GL all evening with virtually no progress. I was getting very similar MP issues to what you described in the last few days and was also affected in what little of the furai MP I played, lost most of what I built up but fuel bar refilled and quickly got it back. I jumped in early in the ford one too and after the 18 blatant hacked times at the top is the number one MP summer guy and a bunch of others close behind so there's my extra tank shot gone too lol.
dont know your technical expertise, but have you restart your phone? or tried reinstalling the app? majority of the stuff is saved on their server so when you reconnect the game to your login itll ask "use this save data"? stupid things happen when computers arent restarted frequently. i know iphone wants/needs one around every other day
