I may be the only one to notice but I don't think that is a MPTLE. The multiplayer ones have a blue ish look on the inside of the un ranked box. The old TLEs look like the one in the video.
I had a doubt about that, it's better this way. Trying hard and finishing outside top 20 worldwide is one thing. Grinding for 4 days with little sleep using the same car on the same track over and over and ending up with no car and 2 tanks for your efforts is quite another. Not that I would try another one so soon after the servers screwed me over for the furai tle which I attempted only because it was top 100.
For the record, I haven't lost any sleep (or money) and I'm in the top 20, so it's quite possible to do. I'm sorry that the servers screwed you over though. GL should really do something about "refunding" player who lost all their points.
anyone with wifi at work/school, a short attention span, and the ability to wake up every ~hour of the night to grind has a serious chance to win. start early! or should i be saying 'its impossible' to increase my own chances of winning o.o
We need a sarcasm Emoticion. 20 cars is a stupid number to give away, you are only going to stand a chance of winning this if you get incredibly lucky on a lap or you have unlimited tries through multiple accounts and unlimited double tanks. My (And any other honest players) only hope is to get a lucky perfect lap as the 20 or so clans that operate are going to do whatever tit takes to get this. What amazes me is that anyone bothers to spend money on trying to win these cars, as it is near pointless. I am assuming that they do, or why else would GL keep putting out these pathetic odds to win in these tournaments. At least with a Zombiegrinder a non clan member stands a chance to win even if it will push them to the edge of sanity.

There might still be a MP event scheduled for the Koenigsegg One:1, but if so, it will begin on October 27, one week after the worldwide cup. Expect that one to be top 20 as well, since Gameloft knows certain players will pay a lot of money to win this particular car, and they obviously want to give away as few as possible (this is also why it's a normal TLE and not a division cup; there are a lot more than 20 5,000-player divisions for any given car up for grabs). So if you have no intention of paying for many refills, it will be pointless to "zombie-grind" for 5 days for that MP event. Gameloft is releasing a new car every two weeks now, since they're running out of new content to present until the New York track is introduced. The Savage won't be introduced until early November.

Where did you get info about the new York track?? Also, I emailed gameloft 13.5 hours ago about the crazy times that flooded the current A class ios TLE and here we are with 3 hours left til the end and still not a barely realistic time in the top 100. As refreshing as it is not to see it filled with summer/open/k-b etc it's even worse to see obviously cheated times, those guys just manipulate the fuel system with multiple accounts and use unlimited tanks but their times are ultimately matchable if you got a perfect lap and have a shot at the top 250 prize. I was considering activating a double tank to spill over into the first hour of tomorrow's to try to win two more but doubt I'll bother now.
The funniest part... Exactly 1 month ago, Gameloft released the San Diego Update with 5 new cars: Peugeot Onyx Maserati MC12 Mazda Furai Savage GTR Koenigsegg 1 But the legit players/customers are unable to use/play with it, after 30 days or 1 month, because... 2 are IAP 1 stuck in a Cup 2 others are for Hackers
I've stopped playing TLE's because the leaderboard is littered with 2X tankers, Clan members, and hackers galore. Congrats Gameloft on condoning cheating! About MP if some of you find it too boring try other cars. Raced with a CTS-V Coupe (I know I'm crazy lol) with only Nitro and Accel upgrades around 1300-lower than maxed survolt. Kept losing at first to boosted+maxed Survolts but then started winning-that car does not let you make any mistakes!
The plot thickens. When I look at the TLE leaderboard on my phone all I can see is 1:03s etc from unboosted unmaxed cars filling the top 100, but I just checked on my girlfriends and it is the usual suspects starting with an open on 1:24:985. Also can't get into multiplayer all evening, it just puts me in a lobby with no one joining indefinitely. Was wondering why I wasn't seeing anyone else complain lol, looks like mine has just gone crazy on its own!

You need to contact customer service, as Gameloft has placed a ban on your account. That's why you're seeing all those fake times; those are all times set by hackers that non-banned people can't see. No worries, I'm sure you didn't do anything wrong. It's happened to me (4-5 times in total), Lucian, Louenn, and others on this forum, for literally no justification whatsoever. But yeah, until you contact customer service and explain to them that they've mistakenly banned you, you will be unable to play MP or normal TLEs like the rest of us.
