I hope that Mazda Furai Cup and the Mazda Furai disappear as fast as possible! By the way... Savage GTR must be a beast! The Full Upgrade is more expensive than the Koenigsegg One:1 Damn It! Savage Rivale GTR FULL Upgrade > 2 848 900 Max Koenigsegg One:1 FULL Upgrade > 2 690 450 Max
Speaking of the Furai cup, I'm surprised that some of the top players haven't figured out the fastest route. I've faced a few of them and have only gotten second about three times to players with higher ranks than me
It's totally random too. I can adjust if pressing brake twice always initiates drift, but no, sometimes the first press does it . Always messes up Monaco for me.
Well no, they are all using the glitch (i'm not complaining, I am too). But what I mean is that some of them will either take longer routes leading up to the glitch or take the left path after glitching (which takes longer). I've beaten them even starting at the back just because I triple boost off the line (which I've noticed more people catching on too), in addition to sticking to the right path after the boats.
They probably think that's safer and that the glitch compensates for the longer route. Remember that the top players in these MP tle's are not all skilled drivers.
Haha, I just raced you in the TLE, 4118. Was that you that pulled off the barrel roll into the glitch? I tried to do that a few times but couldn't nail it consistently, so I just settle for the spin around the pole before splash down. No way I was catching you, but I did pull off second, and Nametoolongforyoutoseetheroad got stuck back in 6th with his boosts active. I'll take it.
not impressed when people who complain about hacks and glitches use them to win; but i guess as long as you're winning, its ok
choosing to utilize an exploit to gain advantage. just dont claim to be legit if you're consistently making that choice
I've never manipulated any code. I'm simply playing the game as it was designed. It's not my fault GL screwed up. If I want to be competitive in the races it's necessary to take advantage of it, unfortunately. If it were up to me, it would be fixed already (or better yet, never existed in the first place) and nobody would be using it.
Exactly. Especially considering the number of people who unfortunately don't care about whether or not a glitch is fair, hackers, and players with deep pockets, if you want to win without spending money, you've got to use it. Besides, seeing as GL knew about this, they could have easily used the normal course instead of the reverse.
i guess you just accidentally slip and fall into the glitch every time then? what happen to coming in first despite the glitch? its not the only way to be competitive, its just the easiest. same exact reason behind the hackers, and the data copies.
It's the fastest route on SDR. Isn't that what we do? Find the fastest route? It's not even close to the same as hacking and data copies.
I just had a race where the two people in front of me and the next three behind me used it. Guess I should've taken the slow route and settled for 6th.
its clear that you feel you need to use this just to win. that might be fine by your standards. a couple dozen pages back you spoke about boosts ruining mp. the glitch is fundamentally the same. its in the game (for now, Fabian said its patched in the next update), and its up to each person whether or not to use it.
The boosts are a fair comparison. I do believe they're a detriment to MP, just as I think this glitch takes away from racing SDR. That said, I've never claimed that using boosts is cheating (provided they're earned/purchased legitimately). They're simply a part of the game I don't like, similar to this glitch. Again, I look forward to this glitch being patched. But until then, it's the fastest route on SDR and I'll keep using it. You should too.
trying to beat 1:14:999 is satisfying enough. ill stick to credit boosts, and just maintain. chopping off 2 seconds with a swan dive just doesnt get my motor running its an odd progression though; the first day everyone was polite, no boosts, no start crashes or bumps. day 2 ppl started boosting. day 3 until today its been murder. yesterday is when "everyone" (else) started using. and now that today is the last day, there's less crashing and bumping.
That's generally how these long MPTLE's have worked. They start out fun because everyone is using equal cars and just feeling each other out. As they continue on, players perfect the track and the racing gets cutthroat becasue everyone is trying to hold or improve their position. I didn't run my first race on this TLE until last night when the 24hr Booster TLE ended, so I can't really speak to how people were playing the track for the first three days. I know I've seen plenty using it since then though.
