i mean, they head first into the wall, and stop moving forward in mp you often see the same racers again and again; and just knowing that certain people never win unless they wreck someone at the start; going and beating them just feels even more accomplishing. if you crash start someone, and then you get wrecked yourself, whats the gain? ive gone stretches of hours both ways; try my best not to touch a single racer, and, crash anyone i pass. i prefer the clean way. AND id rather race unboosted, but every time i decide to try it, its bumper cars, or 1,2,3; honestly i dont mind bumpercars, except that its not people trying to win; its people fighting for 5th place like seriously? one particular race, i get nitro-wrecked on boosters... alright.... then the 7th place have to wreck me too? even when i drive to avoid like a person would rather wreck, instead of taking a yellow bottle. that being said, i think GL needs to remove the nitro gain from mp/mpe wrecks; there are plenty of other crash-em-up racers. and the biggest offenders, are racers who could and should be winning without crashing; plus running extra tank with boosts. so unnecessary! for me, its way more rewarding when i beat a player that's nipping on my bumper, than blowing out everyone cause i wrecked all the starting cars.
I would like your guys advice and experience. I have 600 stars and im lvl 5 in multiplayer. I need to farm credits and I am not sure which route to go. In the exclusive metal events there is a class A race 1 lap at the mirage that i can clear in 1 minute and make about 3600-3700. Is it worth it for me to grind multiplayer lvls or just farm the single player race.
Are you guys kidding about the P1? I love it, but it gets smoked by the S-Class regulars, not even close. The only true chance you have winning with it is if you go out with all three boosters and two cans of whoop ass. Love the car, but it, like the NISMO, gets lit in MP. #leftfordead
I've never "farmed" for credits, but go back through this thread (not all that long ago) and you'll find the best events in career mode. Season 9 seems to be paying a lot. One person used a doubler and got 3 million credits going through Season 9. Player 327 has been farming a lot the last few months. It does seem like a decent idea to get the credit doubler from time to time if you're going to try to maximize the number of credits you'll get. Sadly, the doublers were given away in the past so some of us have a lot of them, but GL doesn't give them out any longer.
Thnx guys so I have a sesto with max acel LVL 4 top speed n nitro n LVL 2 handling should i max it out then do season 9 and I need a high LVL c and b car just to complete single player wat would u reccomend

I guess I forgot to mention this, but I did a little experiment with ranking. Someone had said that lower ranked players got in easier divisions. Well I tanked my rank from 1700+ to below 1000 and entered the Furai cup and ended up in the division with faster times than anyone on this forum. So I think its safe to say that rank doesn't matter for division cups. Also, it seems as though the game "remembers" your highest rank. I started playing mp to get my old rank back but immediately, In my rank 1526 zonda I was getting put up against maxed p1s, sestos, and even venoms with players wayy above me in my tanked rank
So MP rank doesn't matter which division you are in? Is it based on how well you performed in the last TLE? First TLE with the Mazda Furai and placed 10th after 10 races (obviously all boosts). I am ranked around 1450-1500 in MP and top 1,500 on Windows. Hope I don't get put into a hyper-competitive division for the Koenigsegg One, really want that car badly.
Those MP TLE groups are based on 5,000 players. When you get in and the group fills, that's your group. Doesn't have anything to do with anything other than that. It's just luck of the draw, but clan members seem to be in just about every group.
So the Mazda Furai is a hated car in this community. You guys have to admit it looks amazing even with the poor stats. Does anyone know when the Community Cup will start. You know it would be nice if the top 3 or 5 gets the car instead of top 1
Hey Ryan or Fabien, looking at this from a purely economic standpoint, you guys would make more money by increasing the number of people who can win the car. Just think about it: When only the top 1 can win a car, there is no incentive for less experienced drivers (especially those not part of a clan) to even try winning. On the other hand, increase the number, and people will get more competitive to win, ergo more people will buy boosters and fuel, and GL will make more profit. all by simply changing a number on the rewards. Now I'm no economics major, but even a 6th grader could understand this logic.
good god people cant drive! i cant afford the nismo, so im in the class B event, driving a slow, unmod car; and wow..... its ugly. people cant drive, crashing into guard rails and tripping over sidewalks. smh. thats how come i'm beating out maxed shelbys, ferraris, and lambos. side note, there's already a few people using three boosts >_> slightly edited to protect user names. right now, im getting a pretty consistant 3rd/4th place per race, i plan to farm credits and upgrade or change my car soon.
